Congrats! It's always fun beating challengers you struggled with before (and maybe still struggle with, but hey at least you can beat it now). :P
You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop! Verdugo earned 3500 EXP Points!
BQs done
Awesome job! Your army is growing nicely :D
Congrats on your wins against meatslab!
He wasn't too bad I guess. He only took....42 losses xD Ok that is a lot of losses maybe only if you are bored you can attempt some wins.
Nice boost! I started boosting strength and health before I hit 3k defense and speed. It makes it a little easier at the training center because he just goes back and forth enrolling in defense or speed instead of 3 or all 4 stats. The crit hits will suck but you should be fine as long as your health is high.
Also congrats on your wins against the forj!
Congrats on your boosting spree. Never hurts to have lots of health and strength.
Congrats battlers on your various wins.
You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Kuuipo earned 3500 EXP Points!
Another day of BQs.

I keep defense > STR for Tainted keeper skull staff
I still can't find a reason to train speed at all.

I thought speed had to do with critical hits, right? Although I guess once you reach a certain point, that doesn't matter as much.
has the pet horn It has almost 0 speed and does fine, and was largely beating challengers earlier than expected.
Speed is just the on/off switch for the possibility of crit hits, it doesn't affect the rate or magnitude. If you have a speed of 1 or a speed of 2500, and the opponent has 2501 speed, its treated as the exact same thing.
So if you can ever beat the opponent with crit hits, getting above the challengers speed doesn't do anything for you. Just makes battles marginally less random.
There is no reason to train speed, but people are super OCD about it, so people do anyways (especially when it can't be avoided from tomes)

You've found a Hidden Opponent! C.A.P.S. Droid challenges you to a fight in the Battle Coliseum!
Can't beat it yet, but yay new challenger ~
Ah, okay thanks for the info! I'll probably just keep training speed for the achievements. But my pet is approaching 2500 even stats for everything, so I'll also probably break away soon and start boosting health and strength more.
yeah I get you. I've always tried to get all the challengers, because I liked collecting them for when Tziety was stronger, though I never really fought them until about a month or two later, so I kept missing the throwback challengers as well. Millionaire Center challengers, though.... I still need to get several of them! D:
let me know if you do share the code sometime! I usually take Ice King with Helmet+Trident+Cobalt, then Trident+RV+Gelaspell Scroll (forgot to mention this one), then Trident+Shinwas Temple Shard+Gelaspell. Once my weapon blockers are gone, I go Trident+PBB+Cobalt until they're over, then I Trident+PBB+Gelaspell for a few turns. If I need to heal, I got the P-quill & RotL at the ready.
Good luck! :D
wooo congratulations on your stat boosts & wins!! I can't wait to get there for that scroll :D
so many wins! -in awe- :D Congratulations!
thank you ^_^
I just got home, and will try to do dailies fast to try and get some bq in before bed
I've been fighting the throwback challengers pretty much as soon as they're released once I see the news post, and as far as I'm able to get with them.
At least the MC challenger unlockables are cheaper than the cash shop ones, although most of those are books too so still need more than 1 copy.
That's true too! I don't think MC stock really retires anymore, and even if it did they'd give us plenty of warning most likely. So at least those challengers can be more of a low priority when budgeting sP spending.
Battle Quests done for today!
Won't have much extra time this weekend. Redo of family birthdays - special dinner plus wine tasting on Sat and all day real life (in person) gaming session on Sun, but will be on long enough to do dailies plus battle quests - hope you all have a great weekend and wishing all success in battling. (And for you - in Pokemon as well. :-) )
- definitely a very long way from Tier 6 to where he's at now. Pretty amazing when you look back, isn't it? I'm starting to feel a little that way about Tos now that she is Tier 9. :-)
- your turn yet again. You have so much more work to do on this than I do. Wish I could help share to make it more 50/50.
Hope you enjoyed the surprise party!
- I would think that for a reset, mostly all that would be necessary would be to reset the stat data to zero. Shouldn't need any major coding changes unless something else is happening too or I am missing something.
- wow! Congratulations on getting to 5 wins against Forj Matriarch, the Erupting. Nice scroll drop too! :-)
- I might do that if I get a chance before he leaves. Remember though, if the hydra was any indication, 42 losses for you and Oranos is more like 150 losses for Tos and I (and that was only for one win - don't want to even think about getting to 5 :-) ).
- laughing - that is sooo funny. I have felt that way too. Good luck staying awake and much success with today's BQ's
After BQs - then

Good nigh!
LOL thank you! I love that gif so much, I had it saved up in the work computer to watch it over and over while I woke up :P
Just got beaten up twice by Sandragon (wtf? haha) I think I've been missing a few turns (aka not choosing weapons), so i'm calling it a night, and will continue in the morning :P
See you tomorrow, and hope you have fun with the dinner and wine tasting tomorrow, and the gaming session on Sunday... what game(s) are you going to play?
Ciao ;)
- it is definitely time to take a break and get some sleep when you start battling without weapons. :-)
Thanks. Don't have any idea yet what games we will wind up playing. We all bring lots of old and new ones and then choose. We've played all sorts of different games like: Catan, Merchant of Venice, Mystic Vale, Pandemic, Innovation, 7 Wonders, Empire Builder and Takenoko to name just a few. :-)
To be fair in my opinion, unless you raise a "Horn", it's not worth it to ignore speed. You can't deal enough or tank enough damage, especially when battling them crazy high HP opponents. I think this was the case, don't quote me, but it was after the fixed speed reset where 0 up to 1 point lower speed where crit hit damage likelihood is treated as the same. Before that time, increased speed reduced the crit hit changes of your opponents. Again I'm not that sure on it, but I believe it's after this last reset where ignoring speed is worth it, if you raise a "Horn" that is.

Put a bomb or two in your default set and you'll go thru bqs faster by one-hitting more challengers.
KT can use cronus. bear head, & lucky scroll and one-hit almost everything up to the imp challengers. If he gets crits at the right times, he will one-hit everything up to (and including) GE.
Plus, blowing things up always adds an element of FUN! ;)
I disagree with about speed. My top two battlers have higher sp because crits are important to me -- esp. in boss battles. (Plus, the battlers I admire most train it -- probably for the same reasons I do.) Even has pets with various builds -- they are not all like Horn, nor is that pet his top battler. That said, it is up to you to decide how you want the stats to fall. There is no right or wrong way to assign stats. I just don't want you to get the idea that the community is of one mind on this. We aren't. 's stance is just as valid as mine. We simply have different approaches. Good Luck!
Thanks for that info too! I know there are different ways people build the stats of their pets, I just hadn't seen that one before so it was interesting.
I already have kind of an idea of how I want my final stats to be (even though I am so far away from that, but still), and that involves training speed to 5000 for the achievement which I figure should also be plenty to be higher than most opponents anyway for the critical hit thing. That still leaves me 30k for the other stats, which will all likely end up much higher than speed.
Unless of course they decide to up the cap amount again or something, then back to the drawing board. xD
