If you would like to try the raging storm with Tos, I'll leave my strategy for you here.

Oranos' stats are roughly 1,045 on everything except health, which is a little more than 1,800.

Weapons: Blessed trident, Charged tower shield, Reviver, Pquill, Soma, Rblaster, STS, RV

Scrolls: Typhoon of valor x3 Gotf Skelly

Other stuff you will want to bring: wind shard, darkness shard, death shard, ice shard, negating pylonic, regenerating pylonic (I didn't use this one but a little boosting always helps)

He wasn't crit hitting me on the first turn so I used the shield + soma + typhoon scroll. Second turn I used STS + blaster + skelly to block heal and blast if he did a good amount of damage to me first turn and sometimes he did crits on the second turn. Depending on my health I either did trident + shield and skelly or trident + shield and typhoon. This also depending on what items I blasted. I healed when necessary. Once I ran out of opb scrolls I resulted to the shards and tried to anticipate which to use next. Negating pylonic was used after everything else was gone if I felt like I stood a good chance of winning.

My pet is still growing so every new challenger I face is a pain in the butt lol

- sounds like you have a system that is working for you now. Of course, it's that beating all of them part that really gets hard. :-) I don't have any cash shop challengers as far as I know. I'm starting to think that I will need them to get some of the good weapons/scrolls if I want to be really serious about this. Haven't yet figured out what to do about that. At least on Subeta, you can exchange between sP and CSC. :-) And, of course, there is now the Bathhouse.

Have fun relaxing with Verdugo for a while. Must be nice to get him in the Battle Coliseum and flatten some challengers after working so hard with Oranos! You deserve a break! And Verdugo deserves some attention and some battle time. :-)

I've mainly been unlocking the CSC ones just because I like collecting and unlocking things. :P

I only started worrying about those around 2014/2015 or so, which is why I'm missing like all of the research note ones. And it's fun to have more challengers to beat, even though quite a few of the cash shop ones are still too tough for me.

- I know. With Tos having just reached T9, I have plenty of regular challengers to work on for now. :-) I'll see how I feel when she's a higher tier and has a fully stocked armory and scroll library. :-)

Yeah, I finally caught up with all of the challengers I can beat pretty easily (at least for now) earlier this month. There were quite a few that I must have forgotten about or skipped over before, because I got a decent amount of EXP to boost Carbonite's stats with. Now I think I only have the Extremely Hard and Impossible challengers to worry about, but some of them are still a little too strong with the weapons I have right now.

- sounds like Carbonite has been making good progress.

He's doing pretty well! I remember when he was a little tier 6 baby doing his best against the event challengers and community bosses. He's come a long way since then.

Alas, no one knows for sure. We DO know that it is dependent upon a bunch of changes/ coding being done -- so it just depends on how long it takes them to rewrite the BC or whatever magic is happening behind the curtain. I haven't heard anything in a while, but then again with the move-from-hell taking up so much of my time this year, I haven't been as informed as usual.

While I hope for a reset, I hope that if it happens, it's not because of a drastic rewrite or something that changes what I'm just learning :P

I doubt it will appear drastic on our end. I think they just want to have more flexibility when creating new foes and/ or weapons. They may also be changing the exp payouts slightly -- not sure tho. What you've learned so far will no doubt still apply! :)

Aw, well I think they usually bring back at least some of the old CS challenger unlockables during the Black Friday sale (if not during some other special sale event). So if you know what item it is that you need for the challenger you're missing, you can probably get it in the future at some point.

Ugh, I kind of don't like the ones that have multiple uses such as food or book, because then I have to get more than one copy. ;~; I'll usually always get the one to unlock the challenger first though, even though I collect other stuff it's less of a priority and more of a long-term goal.

Wooo, only had 1 win for the longest time, found a new strategy, switched up some weapons, used some I never really bothered with and finally snagged the last 4 wins I needed. Love this scroll, so a second will come in extra handy now I don't have any full healers in my default set. This was tough, but so fun :D
