Less of a singular memory and more how many great friendships I've had on here. Not all of them are as strong or as close as they used to be but I've made some very amazing lifelong friends just because we all played on this site together. I will forever be grateful for that.

Something I'd Love to See An actual sweetie dead pet color. I love that staff embraced our love for it I'd just like see it exist for real!

Back when zombie skins were permanent and not optional like now, I got stuck with Pinkie Patch and kept it permanently hidden under the Ghoul's choice liquid latex skin, which was a lifesaver to be sure, but I had no nose for years, lol. I had to get really creative with layering, and it was hours of fun using the old HA making sites like Arvee (miss it so much). Once the cure came out I got rid of the skin pronto. Now I have it back in my collection of skins. If not to wear again, at least for the nostalgia :)

I've been here for almost 16 years now (with some small breaks) and that seems crazy to me. My favorite memory was getting to be on here with my school friend, I believe our first event was the masquerade and we were enamored.

I would love to see something like an occasional mystery shop (I feel like this used to be a thing) with past/retired items that might be harder to get. Or something that allows some back into circulation!

I love this site and all the work that's been put into it over the years.

My favourite memories...it's a tie between a few.

There's the 2018 Morostide plot. Two friends of mine from another country got me on Discord on voice because they wanted to hear me react to it live--they got it ahead of me due to time zones and my sleep schedule--and I hope I did not disappoint them.

Then there's the Yeet Fleet, which was a bunch of us being silly on a CW Discord where we were talking about making holiday themed bats (no, not just for Morostide) with the idea of (IDK how we would even do this on site) yeeting them at people who were being sad. I think it was who released the Yeet Fleet dress/long shirt after that. I made a Yeet Fleet avatar, I had pink hair at the time, and of course I had to have a thylacine in the avatar with me. My username is cleverThylacine everywhere else in the universe and I might change it here yet, given that Valiska is the name of an OC that I love but am not currently writing.

(here's hoping the current wardrobe image glitch doesn't go off and you're actually seeing the Yeet Fleet avatar and not some half-naked OC base of mine, if it is wrong let me know...)

And CW people are generally great, despite the occasional outbreaks of mean girl BS.

I want equal emphasis on the fancy ball side of Masquerade as well as the raver side again. Why do we even have a fancy ballroom if we're all about the ravers and not at all about the fancy ballroom anymore. As I said before the 2020 items (my favourite ever) if people think they have fully explored steampunk, they're wrong, because ballroom outfits do not have to be about wearing your corset on the outside (like it's not underwear) and putting superfluous gears on everything. There have been fancy dresses in so many historical periods. They don't have to just be Halloween costumes. Tudor, Cavalier, Renaissance dresses all go well in a ballroom. I'm a fancy person. I don't love modern clothes all that much IRL, except for lolita fashion.

I'd love to see a house where you can put fruniture in, and decorate it how you want (custom paint colors, wallpaper etc).

i'd also love to see a toy collection (like the minion zoo)!

I remember joining this site, after trying to find a new pet site to enjoy and I have never gone back to any other since joining! I really love the community and the friends I have made along the way, wheter we talk often or not, it's still nice to be able to catch up every now and then. I REALLY love the events, I remember staying up and refreshing the item directory (even though I still do it) to see all the beautiful new items.

I'm always excited for the future of Subeta. I can't wait for the day we only have to use one site, rather then Legacy and Kumos. It would be cool to see the return of the communities help with labeling, like with the minion categorizing help. There's always people willing to help and it would be nice to get the wardrobe better organized! I don't know if it would make it more possible to get the option to search your wardrobe by color, but it is something I have wanted to see. (I know it's not easy, but oh man I am always excited for new pets to be released!)

my fav memory is split between the 30 quests we used to have/saggi rewards being SUBSTANTIAL sP, and the old mysterious melody. i mean quests for obvious reasons, getting rich was easier if you put in the effort (there was no shop search button below the items, had to open a new tab and copy and paste if yall remember...) and for MM, there was something so whimsical and truly exciting sending little items with phrases in them to try and communicate, like the "howdy!" kumos sticker always hit an all time high price like clockwork around december lol. sending the "goodnight" one to show youre signing off. trying to spell things out using single letter stickers, etc. and the excitement of feeling the water sending somewhat nice items, slowly getting more and more generous, to just clearing out each others vaults trying to be the better gifter before midnight lol. the joy of those good times fully outweighs the bad where the person doesn't send anything. good times :'^)

Had to be almost 13 years ago when I took part in my first Masquerade. This was when the Ziara History plot took place, and it was truly something special despite me not knowing too many of Subeta's plot threads at the time. The special book we got for this Masquerade is one of the most unique gifts we got on the site, as it was an actual, readable book detailing many Ziaran headlines of the past. It was truly wonderful, and it made me consider staying permanently on Subeta.

Something I'd Love to See

Even if plots don't make their way back into Subeta sometime soon, I would like to see more books like Ziara: A History Through Headlines. Actually readable books would be very fun to see more often as items, but only for the really special occasions.

I'm glad to have been a part of Subeta for a long time. Despite the ups and downs, I'm glad y'all are still holding down the fort Keith and Amber.

Member For 14 years, 10 months, 2 weeks, 6 days reading these lists of memories was so delightful - i literally read through all (currently) 12 pages. I've never been especially active, but every time I've participated in Vesnali has been so lovely - my birthday is in April so i always love feeling like Subeta and NPCs are celebrating my birthday :)

i also loved the couple of times I've participated in quest-a-thons - it always felt so exciting working together to make things happen!

Something I'd Love to See

i love this site and will keep coming back as long as y'all are keeping the lights on. but if we're talking about things we'd love to see, i have soooo many:

• seconding everyone who has mentioned real-world merch - or maybe a way to suggest merch, or merch competitions? i would absolutely, immediately buy a "my subeta pet is an honors student at Harvard" bumper sticker or something along those lines.
• more character development for NPCs, in any capacity!
• others have already said plots, but even mini-plots or short "one-shot" type activities, as a way to bring back old items or make the site feel more alive, would be incredible!
• i have looked other places online without success, but i would love to find or have a history of all the plots that have taken place on Subeta. I've been around for quite awhile, but didn't always have time to participate in plots, so sometimes I have no idea what people are referring to, or when or how storylines played out, or NPC relations to each other. An addition to the Subetapedia of "history" or "past plots" with brief overviews would be sooooo great.
• Any new pet species and colors would be delightful! I especially love the idea of a circus/carnival/clowny themed pet!!
• and please please PLEASE more lurby items!!! i am obsessed with each and every one that gets released

thank you to every single Subeta staffer who has worked so hard to keep this site going and make it worth sticking around. I love it here, i love my pets, and i cannot wait to see what happens next!!!
