- Yeah, I can understand that. lol at weird and floppy. You got me to snort at that comment.
So, you can get the tokens from random events and the best way to do that is feed and read to your pets? Ok, I can do that because I got a pittance in New Year's tokens last year.
We're staying in tonight and having homemade General Tso's chicken for dinner. Yum. We may watch a movie, not sure what, though. :)
Oooh, that sounds fun, too! I loveee general tsos! Yeah, you can get them from quests, but also mostly random events, if I remember correctly. So anything that has a lot of page clicks.
Apparently Alex spent all day while Lily and I were out working on the puzzle I started before Christmas and left to him because I. GAVE. UP. Awful things, puzzles. Definitely not the same as legos.
- You'd think I would know such thing I've been here so long but my memory is like a sieve sometimes. Thank you for explaining. :) We get our General Tso's from Schwann's and it's not completely homemade. You just have to cook the chicken, steam the broccoli, cook the rice (rice cooker) and then toss the chicken in the sauce, assemble the rest, then serve. It's pretty good for "store bought" but we love it.
Puzzles? Now that's old school I haven't done a puzzle since I was like 10. Now, Lego's are more my style. My son has a huge storage container full of Legos. They just aren't good on bare feet, though. ;) Did he have fun with the puzzle? :D
He did not haha. I did the outside, then called for help.. he came and found the two pieces that I had wrong on the outside, and then uh.. finished it. Over like, 10 hours. Whoops.
We actually ended up having general tsos turkey tonight, I was very excited to see it, after we had talked about it!
He took the turkey apart today now that it was finally thawed, the breasts are in the freezer (he's going to make taco meat for Lilys birthday party out of them), and then he made a stock, and the dark meat he turned into the little fried turkey nuggets. Isabelle ate hers plain, but the rest of us really enjoyed them with the sauce!
And oh gosh I LOVE legos! I love that they're in such small little increments, and that they come in different baggies so you can really just do one step at a time for a few steps, and then you can stop. Very good for my ADD, I've found. But generally I can do around 120 steps before I'm just DONE :P
Yes, page views for random events. I would not say feeding and reading is the best, but it is something I like to do for page views. Some people play the slots game. I get bored by that.
I like puzzles. Haven't done one in a while. Keep thinking about it lately tho Last puzzle I got was a little 100 piece Hermione puzzle (Harry Potter yes indeed!!!)in my stocking a few years ago.
I took all my Christmas stuff down today. And moved the movie shelf back over where I had the tree ... Need to move this couch out and clean up behind it from the window being fixed. I was too lazy to do that before Christmas.
Babies are weird and floppy and I want to hold one anyway. At least until my arms get tired. Speaking of babies. Guys. Shane's news over Christmas was that this latest girl is pregnant. About 8weeks. Due to his inane (insane?) situations with girls I had to ask if he was positive it was his. He is. So. I will be a Gramma. I feel a little bad. I think the only one who gave him real excited response was his sister... I mean, I am excited but also, like, unsure? Like due to his situations. And he's already arguing with the girl as usual. And she just recently moved back to Texas and is living with her dad. So like....I won't even get to see the kid often so I think that makes me a little less excited too....(and like if they break up cuz he's an ass - which he is - then will I even ever get to see the baby???)) Sooo. Yea. Tangled feelings there
Oh. And I had 200mil before I went on my spending spree. I know the richest user is broke but it still moves when I spend or make so, so I still view it to get a kick out of how high or low my ranking supposedly is
Oh my gosh, that's... that's.. a situation!
I wouldn't know what to say either, especially since the kid is going to be living in Texas, and you're obviously.. not.
And to already be fighting with her like.. ugh. Yeah, I probably would have some tangled feelings, too!
Did none of us stay up til midnight? LOL Not and posted anyway. HAPPY NEW YEAR ya'll!! It's going to be a great one! We will make it so!
Yes. I think if he'd had better relationships with girls, and they were actually at least living in the same state (preferably even the same city) as me I'd be way more excited about it. I'm more nervous about the whole thing. Based on his past relationships everything is just going to blow up in his face, so, like, will there even BE a relationship of any type in the future for him, let alone me? I can't stand the thought of never getting to see/talk/interact with my own grandchild (I'd hate it with my own kids too obviously!!) And even tho I knew it was likely to happen (that any kid of his would be in another state) it kind of breaks my heart to KNOW it. And to know how difficult the upcoming years will be relationship-wise for him/her/us.
Moving on: This morning I have: You currently have 7,945,880 sP! You are the 649th richest user on Subeta. Now going to do my quests....
Oh wow, you're moving right on up in the world!
And no, I did not haha. Well, actually, I was up reading and turned my book off at 11:56 pm LOL. Should have just stayed up :P
I didn't even think of it!
Did all my quests this morning, ended up with 109 NY tokens. I think I'm going to go through and see which books I can get for allll my pets, and work up from there haha. I'm tired of hoarding stuff!
I only did a few quests so far. My neighbor was getting a new fridge delivered (the one I play games with) and they "tried" to deliver it Saturday but ended up refusing to actually deliver it - the guy said her dogs (she only has one) was aggressive - the dog was barking because he was in the driveway, the dog was in the yard. She attempted to put the dog up, while he went back to the truck and then he came back and said he marked it undelivered!! And left! WHAT? He didnt' even try. She called customer service and tried to get them to bring it back (her food had been on her porch for 2 days in ice/coolers!!) and they wouldn't redeliver until today. So I went over to lend moral support in case the same delivery people came. But the ones who came were much more polite, very nice and had the fridge unloaded before they even knocked on her door~!! So then I stayed and finished our game LOL
Ooooh, I'd be so annoyed! Especially because you have to make sure you're home, etc!
Thankfully today was better.
AND you got to play your game!
Any plans for the week, guys?
Oh my plans sadly include going back to work LOL On Wednesday. Today I am going to clean up the kitchen and livingroom. Tomorrow I will wash laundry and dishes. Ryans mom was superstitious about washing things on New Years Day - you'll wash someone out of your family or something - out of your life maybe? - and now I try to avoid that if I can. If I have to I'll wash dishes but only what I need :P Laundry too. I try to do it before or after New Years Day tho. Although I'm not really superstitious. And I won't even do that whole "eat a special meal" for good luck or money or whatever at all. LOL I think I go with the not washing because it buys into my lazyness :P Oh there is also the saying that whatever you do on New Years Day is what you'll do all year - so I think I'm good - I got to have a good time with a friend, and ate some good food (so far) and well maybe I'll skip the cleaning? HAHAHAHAHA But no, I'll be cleaning all year anyway so what does that matter.
So yes. House cleaning/upkeep today and tomorrow, back to work Wed. Oh I get to have lunch with the superintendent on Friday - I don't know what we're having, but like 10-20 (I don't remember how many) got selected to do that as a "12 Days of Christmas" prize - I was actually happy because it meant I didn't win a jeans pass, which I won't use :P Free lunch beats jeans in my book. And one day will be PreK PL but I don't know what day or what we're doing :P I do know I'll have to take down Christmas stuff and put up winter stuff at school.
edit: Now I am: You currently have 11,688,043 sP! You are the 551st richest user on Subeta.
Finished my quests. Got 106 NYT - 2 were RE's The rest from quests. - 1 amulet - THREE morty cards!!
Wow, you ladies certainly move a conversation quickly. I'm not even going to try to catch up. 😂 My plans for the week are to get a nerve ablation done on my lower back on Thursday. Hopefull, it'll kill the nerve that's causing most of my back pain on the right side and I'll be able to move better. I'm nervous about it, though. I don't go outside much and, this is silly, but I don't want to go outside this time, either. I know I have to but my anxiety is hanging on with it's finger nails. XD
Congrats on impending grandmotherhood, Kat. You do have grandparental rights you know. If the baby is definitly your son's then you should be allowed to see it no matter where it lives. :)
Mieke - I liked that about the legos, also. Unfortunately, my son had different ideas and all the legos ended in a big pile and the instruction book lost. facepalm
- I kind of hope so, that I can get that w/o enforcing it (grandparental rights). I mean, like I took my kids to stay with my mom every summer for at least a week and I hope to at least have that type of relationship, along with phonecalls/video chats - but if the girl hates Shanes guts and doesn't want anything to do with his family, what am I to do? I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope that even if they screw their relationship, she is willing for the baby to still have family relationships. Ohh I'd be nervous about anything to do with my back as well, let alone nerve things. Whew. But I hope it really helps you!
I remember super gluing lego constructed things together so my boys would not take them back apart - they'd be mad if they fell apart, then they'd take them apart, then they'd want me to rebuild it - and i'd superglue it so they cant take it apart again LOL
I hope the relationship stabilizes and you don't have to worry about court ordered visitation. :)
I've had the procedure done once before so I know what will happen. I'm just worried that they'll get the wrong nerve and then nothing will work right. XD
I thought about super glue but my son always loved to build other structures with the legos so I never did that. :)
Basic legos I never did. Intensive building sets, yes. I didn't want to build them 20x LOL One set ended up being half torn apart even after that :o I always asked if the kid wanted it done before doing it. They always agreed because THEY didn't want it falling apart when they played with it.
I still have a star wars inspired (it is NOT an actual star wars ship) that my younger brother build when he was like, oh 10-12? He had a bet with our older brother (14-16 at the time) that he would not take it apart and build something else. So he gave it to me to keep safe.... I still have it. Kept it safe for oh gosh, I would have been 12-14 - so what... 30+ years LOL
The the craggle! (From the Lego Movie :P).
The kids go back to school tomorrow :( But that's basically all we have this week, is just work and school. Friday Lily is going to a friends house for a belated birthday celebration.
And today was our 19th anniversary, we basically spent no time together, just bumbled around the house alone. But it was nice! Iz and I accidentally spent like, 2 hours playing Super Mario Wonder (Alex got it for me for Christmas!), and then we all ate crab legs, scallops, and butter poached rock shrimp (tastes and feels just like lobster, but for a fraction of the price!). AND the salt potatoes, which were deliciousssss. He made an Old Bay butter, and that was even better on the potatoes than on anything else!
Shane got Wonder for Nathan!! He finished it already lol I played a few levels but then my hands hurt because I'm not used to controllers anymore let alone the difference in the switch and regular controllers
Erm.. never watched any Lego movies so no idea what you are referencing lol
Congrats on 19yrs!!!
