LOL. They really don't get a lot. It's a half cup of vegetables, adults get 1 cup, which... is much more in line with what they shoudl have, you know?

I don't know the exact measurements lol but I do know I am usually satisfied with whatever amount is in the little plastic containers. Except for fries and tater tots lol I always want more of those. Sometimes I'll get more of the mixed veg or broccoli because I don't like broccoli stems, only the floret part

The only tim s I go away hungry is when they serve blueberries and boiled cabbage as sides. I don't eat those!!

At the high school their absolutely favorite veg is broccoli.. followed by corn. It's so funny because people are always like "ew, kids hate broccoli".

Yeah you never can tell what kids will like or not like, in our class this year, when we were showing them the pretend food, the other teacher went to hold up one and said "I bet you guys know this one" and the kids were all screaming YAAAHH BROCCOLI!!! I think only one kid went eww LOL To be fair, if its raw I like it with ranch, if its cooked I like it best with melty cheese sauce or in my broccoli/rice/cheese casserole. I do it eat plain (steamed/boiled?) But again, I still only ever eat the florets part LOL At home I only ever use it in the casserole :P

Ugh. Just checked on my classwork - NO ONE has still posted for the 2nd discussion except ME! Its due by Tuesday night. I'll check back tomorrow and again Tuesday I guess to make my responses to classmates. I did my 2nd response to the other class, as more people had posted there thankfully. Forgot to take pictures of toys at Walmart so I guess I'm going to go back this morning and do that, so I can work on the PowerPoint toy presentation this week, its due NEXT Sunday night (the 8th).

My toy shopping and my powerpoint are now complete. So much for working on it over the week, instead I worked and completed it today hahah! :P I won't turn it in until later tho.

EDIT: 205pm 3 day weekends really do give me too much time. I've now cleaned the dishes, (almost all of them), vacuumed the livingroom, (OK I did that yesterday but it was still the weekend), and now I've cleaned all the crap back out of MY bedroom that got moved into it when Shane and Anna moved in and I had to move it OUT of that bedroom and the middle room. (there is still stuff in my closet that needs to be removed but I think I will wait until later for that, its not in my way like the stuff around my bed was) Its all now in the middle room, and all of the stuff of theirs that ISN'T baby stuff is in Shanes room so that he can see exactly what he needs to GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. Of course, I'd like for the baby stuff to go too, but as they have no use for that, well I'm debating just letting them leave it in there, charging them a rental fee for using my room as storage, letting them pop it in the attic (some of it won't go, like the bassinet and crib tho)...or telling them to take it anyway since its not MINE I've got to vaccum my bedroom now, and am seriously staring at the wall, debating washing it, so that I can paint that one wall yellow with the rest of the yellow paint. It HAS to be washed first, especially the section by the door which is covered in mud splatters from the dogs running in on muddy days. I even brought in the white paint (hope its still good, its been sitting on the porch all summer :/) and I can use that to repaint the floorboards and door frame on that wall after I do the yellow paint.

All the crap I keep coming across makes me REALLY want to just order a dumpster and toss it all in. I mean, if its been sitting here forgotten for who knows how long, nobody really needs it....And some stuff I simply still have because I can't throw it away because my trash dump doesn't have a "miscellaneous large bulk" bin anymore (like the broken chair, and Nathans drum kit that is broken, and broken dresser and etc etc etc)

Dumpsters can be so useful! Like.. it's time to GET IT OUT and get things cleaned up!

We DIDN'T get one this year yet, but we got rid of a lot of trash so far just.. in our trash bags. I've been ripping and breaking stuff so it fits in there. And we got a truckload of stuff gone during the cleanup days, that took a LOT of stuff! Which was really nice. :P

Alex and I dropped Lily off at work today, then we went and grabbed groceries (and taco bell!), dropped him off at his parents house to help his dad, Anthony and Cam put a new roof on the shed.. then I came home to put the groceries away and pick up Iz.. we'll go get Lily and go back over to his parents for Sunday dinner LOL.

Any plans for tomorrow?

Nope. Chill at home and do nothing I guess. Maybe shampoo the carpet. I did wash the wall by the door ....

I PLAN to try and clean up some stuff when it gets cooler with trash bags. And I PLAN to call the stupid recycling/scrap place and get rid of the big appliances and anything else they'll take... I just need to take those steps. Doing that will get rid of a lot and then less left for needing a dumpster.

We did nothing, too. It was GLORIOUS.

Well.. Alex changed the light bulbs on the stairs.. Iz and Lily picked up the living room and swept..

I did the dishes after breakfast and lunch.. but otherwise I just took a bath and everyone was just lazy.

Though dinner.. dinner was so good! I picked up 3 thick ribeyes, clearance sticker price was $30.. but looking at them, I figured Alex could cut them in half and they'd still be good sized steaks.. and he did and they were! Lily and Iz shared one, I put one in the fridge to eat for breakfast or something, and Alex and I each ate one.. and he put two of them in the freezer. So all in all, really not bad. And they were so good! And we had baked potatoes, brussel sprouts, and my favorite.. the smoked red onions. I love the smoker so much, we didn't get to use it much this year because it was SO wet. But EVERYTHING on the smoker is better :P

I cleaned and changed the litter box. I vacuumed the floor around it, and the couch (cat fur everywhere) and cat towers. I finished the dishes (and made a lot more dirty ones) - I made yeast rolls to go with dinner. I did two loads of laundry.

I guess I labored on labor day lol

But I did a lot of relaxing too, I read my kindle, and colored on my coloring app. And I talked to my brother about his birthday cruise his girlfriend took him on. And this morning I completed all my quests on here.

That all sounds nice though! Well.. except the litter boxes :P

We could have gone out and done things but like.. I think we needed a day of relaxing.

Tomorrow morning I'm working at the school for a bit, then meeting a friend for ice cream and working at the church.. then taking Lily to her occupational therapy at 6!!! pm. Whose bright idea was that, anyway?! LOL.

Then she has an ortho appointment Wednesday afternoon.. and school starts Thursday :(

It was nice. It's great to just be able to relax and do nothing except enjoyable things. Talking to my brother made me want to go on a cruise LOL Maybe one day I'll try for a 2-3 day one like he just did. He said they were on a little ship, only like 3k guests, and they pulled next to a Royal Carribean cruise ship and felt like he was on a tugboat LOL I always want to do so much stuff, but usually never get it all done, so I try to be happy I finished something, anything. Especially if it was something I wanted to do. Like the yeast rolls LOL I wanted to paint my wall (I did wash it!) I wanted to unplug and defrost my fridge/freezer to see if I can get the ice maker working, but since there is still a good bit of prepackaged foods in there, I didn't - hopefully this upcoming weekend, as I don't have MUCH left... I wanted to shampoo the LR carpet. Well at least I got it vacuumed! I did get my bedroom cleaned out, I wanted that! AND I hung up the clothes I washed, not just left them in the basket after washing, so thats a bonus!

It still is weird to me ya'll start so late. But I know you go later than me too. This is the beginning of our FIFTH week of school!!

Well, this is REALLY late.. everyone else started last week. But we had too much construction still going on.

I feel that! We DID end up.. first we put everything in the fridge/freezer into the other ones to defrost... in the hopes that it would work again.

Then we moved everything from the upstairs freezer to the chest freezer (that we plugged back in), and the fridge/freezer.. but now we've got to move stuff back upstairs because the chest freezer is awful :P

I don't have another freezer, tho my neighbor offered a bit of room in hers if I need it. I do have two coolers I can pack with stuff and ice too to keep things like ketchup cold

420pm OMG ya'll. I might have to treat myself again this Novemeber....Fall Fling at the GA REN FEST!! AND ITS ROBIN HOOD THEMED!! AAAAHHHHHH I so wanna go!!! The last one we went to in the fall (me and Ryan went) it was only about half as big, not as exciting, but still was neat. It was NOT ROBIN HOOD THEMED THO!!! That alone makes me wanna go LOL Robin Hood, Merry Men, Maid Marion, Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John... oooh my. I LOVE Robin Hood! (My fav RH movie is the Men In Tights giggles)

I guess I'll read over that and pick out a shorter bit that I want to use and expand on for the discussion. Weird. Also I noticed that the question is different from what she has in the curriculum/syllabus I printed out at the beginning of class. Eh whatever. I'm answering the question that is online! NOT the one on paper.

My favorite Robin Hood movie is ALSO Men in Tights.. though the Disney one follows it :P That sounds so fun! And fall is a better time IMO, it's not 90 quazillion degrees!

We'd been eating everything from the freezers for a few months ALREADY, basically buying nothing, so at least everything fit! haha. It would have really been a disaster otherwise :P

Mmm. Does anyone else do the monthly subscription? Right now I'm a "Questor" but have been wondering about upgrading to the "Councilor" - I just have no real interest in custom clothing (until I find the ones that have roses of course LOL) and no use for any buddy GA's to give out. I don't know if its worth the extra $5 a month to upgrade or just keep slogging on slowly with my Questor plan. I have over 4k CSC as it is right now and while there are plenty of things I COULD buy, I've never been big on splurging CSC (YET). I have been buying the battle opponents that I can actually battle, there are plenty left that I can't battle YET I'm also a little confused, I read that there is supposed to be a battle opponent that only subscribers can get, but I don't think I've ever seen one? All the ones I've seen are ones anyone can buy and battle...maybe I'm looking at it wrong?

I think it definitely can be worth it, and you can sell custom CWs for a good amount of SPs or CSC too. But if you're happy with how you are now, I'd say stick with it?

I think that's fair! I've switched between the $5, $10 and $15 ones for a while, but i've been subscriptionless for a few months now while I've been saving basically everything I've got.

I will say.. thank goodness for school starting today and more paycheck!
