Hope you have no more damage. How scary! Your interviewer was a total jerk. But better to find out before you take the job! I interviewed for a job one time with the big boss because the supervisor over my job was on vacation. I really liked him and he offered the job for more money than I'd ever made before, and I took it. Later the supervisor came back from vacation and I really don't know why she resented me so much, but she was a complete bitch and made working there a horrible experience. Before I liked it and was settling in well. She wrote me up for three tiny inconsequential mistakes in the same week that I was taken out for lunch by a representative of a company for doing such a good job on their account. Because of the three write-ups during my three month probation, I lost my job. I did speak with the man who had given me the opportunity. He said he disagreed completely, and the mistakes were so minor that he could not believe she actually wrote me up for them. But he also said that he had to uphold her decision, and because of that I couldn't work for them anywhere else either. I don't know the details, but I learned later that she lost her job over it too, because it was the third time she got a bad review. At least she earned hers but it didn't help me at all. Sigh

Glad it was benign! Did you get it removed? OMG I hate vertigo. Luckily I haven't had a bout of it in a long time. Hope yours goes away and never returns!

wich coast of florida do you live on? i used to live on the south-west coast. i hated the hurricanes. - i'm glad that you and the kitties came through the storm ok. from what you're describing the storm is as bad as a hurricane but with no eye. i understand why you'd name storms that bad.i hope you have a good day at work. :D

- i have the same problem. when i was part of the work force i never let a male that was interviewing me know that i had kids. it, with out fail and i don't know why exactly, brought out the domineering/patronizing side of them. granted that it doesn't take being a mother to bring it out but they all invariably asked me why i wanted to work outside the house . esentially, why don't i want to take care of my kids. i always walked away from those jobs.i'm sorry you had to deal with that. no one should.i have faith that the right job will come along. i'm glad you made it through the storm ok. i remember when i experienced my first hurricane. a huge palm tree in our front yard was blown over and misssed hitting our minivan by inches.it scared the poo out of me. so glad i don't have to deal with that anymore.

And yes survival started while i am at work and seems the first bug already hit us, no skins as it's not working/something went wrong. Glad we still can kiss. Back to work 1 hour more to go.

omfg. what did they do to survival? a sign-up page to get a virus? are they kidding? zombies don't queue to bite people. they do it randomly. people don't pick which zombie out of a horde will bite them. they run and hope they don't get bitten by any of them. i don't get it. :( i don't think i've everbeen as disappointed as i am now. yes, i understand there is a free option that lets anyone bite you but it's all so clinical now. where's the zombie chaos? :(

I haven't had it removed. They said it didn't need to be removed but I'm thinking of calling back to make sure about keeping it on me. When they called it I was half-asleep and I'm terrible on the phone when I'm wide awake :)

- if there's one thing i learned from being sick it's that self-mobility is paramount. i hate it when the vertigo hits and i end up on the floor but i always get back up and walk. i do have a wheelchair if needed but i'm hell-bent on never needing it. ;) :) as for survival... i'm doing the kissing part and not participating in the zombie skin part. i can't see the skins so i really don't need them. i had hubby put the one zombie skin on my ha that i own. so if you want naughty nip just let me know. :D

we've actually been dreading survival because the triggers and the fear of being bitten, so we're pretty thrilled with the new system. i'd like the same to be done for snowballs, honestly lol. -cadence

I've thrown a few snowballs at people where the snowball doesn't hit or it takes like 10 to make a hit. I don't know if they achieve that by using an item.

I agree with you on the survival. It's hardly a survival if everyone is a voluntary zombie...

I wish the storms would end. I'm so fed up with it...

I can understand the triggers, especially with the Covid pandemic. I just wish there would be a bit more in terms of storytelling than "you can sign up for a virus and kiss people, and here's a bunch of new items".

- there used to be a shield you could put on your ha that would make the snowballs miss you. it used to be in the millionaire center but i have no idea if it's still there. i can't remember the name, either. :)

- glad i'm not the only one who isn't happy with survival. and the gather currency and floating items to buy stuff or unlock achievementsand the site breaking seem to be the standard holiday routine now. it's sad. there used to be plots. :(

I haven't been active on Subeta for a long time, so the last pandemic I remember had a plot with some sort of morse code on cookies, which is probably a long time ago. I don't need an elaborate plot for every holiday, but to have at least a bit of a story would be nice.

6 days of storms and stormy weather... i am fed up with it.

The snowball shield is called: Snowball Reflecting Shield. In the Millionaire Center for : 2,500,000 sP.

We had water leaking (due the storms and crap weather) into a room at work and a hallway. Buckets and towels everywhere. And the technical service guys said last time oh just a small leak but we can't find it. Well no small leak last night... we did but buckets at the leaks but we did not do a clean up it's for them to show them it's no small leak!

Anyway 2 days off and more rain and cold... So more being inside... but i dont mind i don't get bored easy

That isn't a small leak at all... I hope they can find it this time. I think another part of our fence is about to break. We probably need to replace all of it this summer if we can get the neighbours to agree.

Anyway today I told the world I am leaving healthcare. Most of the people are nice, but some… Why are you leaving, shame, etc. Not even going to reply…

- yeah, i remember that. it was pastries with morse code on them. they spelled out a message. i think it used to be on our profiles next to the pumpkin collection but it's not there anymore. it is still on the games page, though, under collections, above the plushie collection. that was the year the zombie undergroundand skitters was introduced.. :D

No word of vacation days and leaving early, send her an email (on my day off) asking her about it. Will check Wednesday not tomorrow as I am off and no work stuff.

We had 3 storms in 6 days… loads of damage in the country, here nothing. Stopped raining finally still a bit wind. Wednesday will be the best day, rest of the week rain

- hopefully wednesday you'll go to work and find that you'll be able to take all your vacation days off. and those people who are grumbling about you leaving should speak up about the work conditions. if they did maybe good nurses like you wouldn't leave. sorry about the crap weather. the weather iscrazy here too. it doesn't know if it wants to be spring or winter. the storms aren't as bad as yours, though. we don't usually get bad storms here. maybe a thunderstorm that may blow the roof off a chicken coop but nothing like what's damaging lone's fences. right now it's65f outside, sunny and a little breezy. it's giving all of us colds. :( i have to go to doctor tomorrow for radio frequency ablation to the nerves in my lower left back. keep your fingers crossed that it works and kills the nerves. :D

I'm on the train to the office right now for the first time in six months. I forgot what it's like to get up early and travel for an hour and a half. I really need to find a job with a shorter commute. I was going to leave this job when my son would turn 4, because the school and commute clash too much with each other. Then Covid happened and here I am still. I didn't hear anything from the furniture company so I guess they're negotiating with another candidate and keeping me as backup. Maybe that's why the dominant guy was so dismissive of everything I said. They had already found someone and didn't want to do the interview.

good luck at the doctors today! Cloudy and windy here, more rain will come this afternoon. Tomorrow will be the best day with sun.

everyone knows now and people are in shock that i am leaving and did not see it comming. And now i will see what will come...
