So sorry all of you are/were sick. Hope you feel better soon. I had covid in January right after my 2nd vaccination and so did my roommate. I know I got it from that. It dragged on and on. Got better, then bad again. Always so tired too. I still go through bouts of it. My doctor said I could for a couple of years. They just don't know. But I'm feeling fine for now.

This past Monday was really nice. We celebrated Father's Day for my father and my brother, and also my mother's birthday. My son and I were finally able to actually get presents for all of them and it was wonderful. I love getting to spend time with my family any chance I get.

numbers are up, news is not hopefull. Been feeling crap for 4 days... doing a wee bit better today.

This my 2nd time with covid and this one hits me harder. First time i got it when i was still in healthcare and they did not thought we needed protection so i was wearing none and got sick. Now i got it (i think) from work (non healthcare) and a costumer gave it to me... I just don't uderstand why people just don't stay home with symptoms...

- well, at our latitude we need air conditioning. i rmember no a/c when i was a kid and it was miserable. we didn't have a/c in school then (late 1970s) and the windows actually opened. then, for some school safety reason they closed up the windows and put in a/c. it was weird having a/c at school but not at home. :)

- oh, that just stinks! i'm so sorry you've lost your vacation to covid. i hope you feel better soon. are you ok for food? is someone bringing you necessities? take it easy and pamper yourself. hugs :D ❤

Ahh thank you <3 I'm doing better now on the covid aspect! Ear infection is still kicking my butt but I'm getting better now I'm on antibiotics! Glad you're feeling good for now, though - my family are all totally floored with the exhaustion and coughing from covid, so far I'm doing okay! Just feels like a really bad cold ? But I suspect it'll get worse xD

- welcoming a wee one into the world is always a cause for celebration! i remember how exciting it was when my kids were born. :) i'm keeping just fine regardless of the heat and humidity. i can't stand either. i can't breathe in them. and i'm battling an achilles tendon injury. it's winning so far bugt i'm regrouping and intend to flank it with an orthopedic surgeon. ;) feel better, hon ❤

We have the A/C on pretty much all day! Another day of over 100 here and even the squirrels are laying out in the shade due to the heat. I put out some water for them and they have been drinking it, so that makes me happy.

I honestly can't wait! Ohhh feel you there with heat and humidity! Scotland is very rarely warm, mostly grey/drizzle/rain, when we do get unexpected heatwaves like we're currently going through, it almost kills me from both asthma and extremely bad hayfever 😂 Oh OUCH! That one made me cringe! Bless ya, you poor thing! I hope you're on the mend soon <3 Hope you feel better soon too! <3 Definitely take it easy around the injury!

Florida is all summer all the time. Then winter is like 1 week or 2 at most XD

My bird feeder had a water bowel at one point but it blew away.

Oh no :( I use a bowl for now. Eventually I'll like to get a couple of bird baths to put in different parts of the yard. We have so many birds and it would be nice to keep them happy.

Replacing the bowel is on a to do list. Brian was thinking about 3d printing one but for a little bit he hasn't found the drive to use his 3d printer.

One Blue Jay (Brian has nicknamed Tony) has followed me as I've walked out to fill the bird feeder XD

Guess who is out of quarentine?! Me!! And back to work tomorrow.... need to talk to my boss to get my vacay hours back as i had nothing on them. Been sick most of my vacation, and bye bye vacation plans. Hope i can get them back and re-sheldue my plans...

That is so cute! I think the squirrel that likes to lay in the plant containers is starting to get somewhat used to me since it stays in the pot until I get too close and it will scamper away.

Hooray for being out of quarantine! They won't pay you unless you use your vacation days. They don't care. Unless you had some sick days you haven't used. I would have gone through them before my vacation days tho.

- XD the worst thing about florida is the heat. the best thing about florida is the cuban sandwiches. 😂 i had one up here in virginia and it was nothing like the ones i had when i lived in fort myers. i miss them. :)

Ever since I got a pork allergy I can't eat Cuban Sandwiches and I miss them XD

yay! But i was back to work on tuesday... Got my days back and handed them in for another week in august. Hope i will get it.

Been really hot here the last few days... tired, hot, moody. Hope it will cool down soon..
