- forums are acting up for me too. i'm getting a lot of 504 errors all over the site. hopefully, it'll be fixed soon. :) i say wear the shorts and be comfortable. keep hydrated, too. that'll help stave off the heat exhaustion. :D

- i think that's the right decision. it's better to have a secure position in these financialy difficult times. i'd be waffling over the sonogram, too. would the sonogram give you peace of mind? i know you want a yes/no answer to all this but sometimes that's just not possible. i don't know how much sonograms cost over there if you went for one on your own but ask yourself if money weren't an issue, what would you do? hugs :D

i told them that.. no fun, just home for food and sleep. They are going to take my feedback with them next time they make a sheldue. Only sunday left to work and then 8 days vacation time, no plans then sleeping in lol.

yay for vacation! I have to wait another month until I have a couple of days off again. And then in August we were hoping to travel to Portugal, unless our flight gets cancelled by Schiphol. That would really sucks.

yeah, I figured it's better to just wait it out at this point. I am keeping my eye open to see if I can get a transfer within the company, but there have not been any vacancies that would be better than my current position. My belly is growing. A lot. Today someone offered my their seat. At this point it's mostly my bowels acting up massively, but now my partner is freaking out because he thinks it might be twins. Just two more weeks and 3 days until the ultrasound...

- that's what i don't get. our government is saying that new jobs are being created by the truck load and that unemployment is at record lows... and yet people can't find jobs. (i'm guessing you're being told similar stuff over there.) so, where are all these jobs? 😔 omg! twins! i completely understand that reason to freak out. i did with each of my pregnancies until the doc confirmed only 1 baby. 1 baby is hard enough, multiples are a true test of a parent's patience. you did mention to your partner that you'll show quicker and seem bigger as time goes on because you've already had one child. you're going to look bigger. that doesn't mean it's twins. ;) :) i'm keeping you in my thoughts and keeping my fingers crossed as time goes by...hugs

Really hot here today and i am off. Did some stuff this morning and not doing anything now. Fell a sleep on the couch for an hour, still tired.. Slept crap last night.. to hot.. and hot kitty laying next to me

the cat probably thought you were nice and cool... I slept with the window all the way open, but I had a really sore neck when I woke up.

if I were more desperate, I could probably find a job, but I set the bar pretty high, since I already have a job. My colleague is having twins any day now. They already had two kids, and wanted just one more, so they were kind of freaking out as well when they found out. Also because you need to buy a lot of extra things. A new stroller, a bigger car, etc.

It is hot outside and it isn't even noon yet. Temps right now are around 90 and it feels hotter then that... I went outside to weed the garden a bit and I didn't get very far cause of the heat. Maybe this evening I can get more after the sun goes down.

I'm thankful our AC works cause next week will be in the 100s... I am not looking forward to that at all!

- ugh. just ugh.it was in the 80s here today and apparently breezy with low humidity. it's supposed to get hotter next week but not in the 100s. it'll be humid, though and i can't stand humidity either. it's hard to breathe. sometimes i wish we still lived in minnesota. mild summers with no humidity. of course we had to deal with monumental snow but i didn't mind. :)

I'd rather deal with snow then the heat, but if i could have it where it was in the 70s for the most part, I would be happy!

lol not cool at all. Can't sleep with the window open as my bedroom is near my front door and everyone walks past it, don't want anyone steppin in my bedroom at night. I do however have it open a bit... still warm... Woke up with a sore troat and not feeling ok... the weather change is not working.. Hot yesterday, cool today. Covid test was negative.

i always get sick from airconditioning... I have a fan that works but also give me the sniffles... Better for me not to use anything. Cool today 10 degrees differance...

AC's are not really a thing in the Netherlands. The last couple of years, I've heard of only one person who has installed one in her home. The norm is not to have AC. My office does have AC, for which I'm grateful, but also I have to bring an extra sweater to work because it's actually too cold most of the time. My son's school doesn't have AC, so he just has to sit in a very hot classroom all day.

It's hot again, just one cool day. I'm okay with the heat when I'm not working. But today I am working and it's harder to concentrate.

we are having weird weather changes. i am a week off. And the cold got me bad. Cough, sore troat and hot and cold. No covid. Still stinks

and others [edit] Just did another test.. (last 2 days negative). it's positive.. crap... Called work and now in self isolation.. There goes my vacation.

Hey folks ... Just checking in too - I've got a nasty ear infection and potentially covid, which is making it's way around my family! I probably won't be online/chatty for a while, my sister is being taken in for a c-section early next week so, provided I'm not sick, I'll be spending a fair bit of time away from the PC while I spend time with her and my first niece 😭 I hope you're all doing well <3 I know Subeta has been a bit buggy the last few days, that's another reason I've not been very active 😅 I'll hopefully be back to chatting on the regular soon, I miss y'all! 😂

I had a bad vertigo Monday and then on Tuesday I was feeling better but then power went out because the place we rent from forgot to send the check.

I live in Florida and was spraying my birds every now and again so that they didn't get too hot.

Today was better as a little frog came in the house but I was able to get it out quickly.

Been a fun week XD
