I couldn't work in a place where everyone was supposed to be close to each other. I'm not social enough for that XD

I slept on it and I was still sure about my decision when I woke up this morning, so I know it's the right thing to do.

Same. I am social, but I also need my quiet times, especially when working. Also it feels like you're kind of obligated to become friends with everyone once you start working there. They told me that, besides the disco-like environment, the company lunches and company drinks every friday they all go on multiple "workations" together, where they travel somewhere to work together. I love traveling, but the idea of traveling with coworkers for something other than maybe a conference just stresses me out. It's all just too much.

Just 1 day off today, did loads (household stuff, supermarket, etc) in the morning and early afternoon. ANd then i became a couch potato.

Tomorrow working till 5pm and then dinner with former co-workers at 6pm. Will be a fast change as i need to stop at the vet for some flea stuff for the boys. Rain is forcast, i hope i will be dry when i am on my bike.

Ready for Vesnali! Hope i won't miss much. Planned full this week with work and 2 things to do (dinner, tomorrow, and a fair on sunday).

- you got this! i don't know if i agree with your saying that writing is easy and real life is hard. i think both are hard. then again, it's all down to your perspective. ;) so, since you're not very social, we won't be seeing you as the new walmart greeter? :P :D

- ok, that kind of forced work comraderie is creepy. reminds me of the stepford wives or pod people. the borg! you will be assimilated! 😂 i'd say you made the right call. :D

- full week for you. i hope the good-bye dinner goes well. i don't know if you have this stuff over there but you should:borax (sodium tetraborate) is a very good and natural flea remedy. not for the boys, though, for your floors , carpets, linens, and upholstered items. it will get rid of the fleas and keep them away. sprinkle it on the floors and any surface you can vacuum. then, after about an hour, just vacuum it up. for the linens, etc. just put 1/4 cup in the wash and it wil clean those pests right up. :D

we probably do need to check how it’s called in Dutch. No fleas yet but better safe then sorrow. And I see the vet is open till 6pm so will make it.

It’s raining and leaving for work in 30 minutes need to find my rain clothes. Not in the mood to get wet.

I finally finished this HA but I want to make a spring themed HA for Vesnali XD

- i thought you may need to find what it's called in dutch. that's why i listed the chemical name for it. :) i hope the dinner went well. it's been thunderstorming here all day. found a lovely little deli next to my doctors office. they had a green apple pizza! i wanted to get it but there was no way to transport it home safely. so i got a ruben instead. it was delicious. :D

- rofl what is resting bitch face? you have a grumpy looking face while not actually making facial expressions? that's too funny. i'm going to remember that one. :D

Yeah, basically resting bitch face is having an angry expression on your face most of the time.

My face does what it wants to and I only have control over it if I really concentrate.

- that's both sad and funny. sad because you don't strike me as a person who would have an angry resting expression. i think you would have more of a pensive resting expression. and it's funny for the obvious reasons. don't feel bad, hubby says i have a befuddled resting expression. like i'm perpetually wondering where i put something down. o.O :D

THE FIRST CHAPTER

It has been a good week so far. Today I'm taking the kiddo to an Easter Egg Hunt around 930am and hopefully come home and nap for awhile since he was up around 4:50am...I'm a bit tired, but it's to be expected with a 3 yr old haha. How has your week been?

- congrats on the new book, you workhourse. lol man, i'm jealous. i have to work so very hard to keep my face straight when i'm being sarcastic. i fail often because i just can't stop myself from giggling. XD lol

- did your wee one find any eggs? i never liked easter egg hunts because i could never find any. lol hopefully he took a nap so you could, too. my week was ok. found a little deli near my doctor's office that has incredible food. we brought some home for dinner and i made an absolute pig out of myself. it was so worth it though. :D

We got there a bit later then normal and he wasn't able to participate, so I'll set up a small egg hunt for him in our backyard. Ohh I love trying out new food places! That's good the deli was worth trying :D

- i'm sorry he wasn't able to participate. ( it's good that you're going to give him his own, private egg hunt. do you use boiled eggs or plastic ones? i used to use boiled eggs until the animals got to them before the kids and i caught one of the kids putting a half eaten boiled egg in their mouth that "something" had previously gnawed on. i laugh about it now but then, i was beside myself thinking my son was going to catch something from it. 😂 after that i started using plastic refillable eggs. plus, that gave me a very good excuse to get more jelly beans. :D the deli was nice. they had a granny smith apple and fontina cheese pizza that i wanted to try. they didn't sell by the slice though and there was no way to get it home safely. so i settled for a ruben and a corned beef platter for later. both were delicious. :D

I remember when I was young and my dad let me hide the eggs for him to find. So, for some reason, I decided to hide an egg in one of his rose bushes. That was an interesting day for me xD

Day off, up early as i went to the creativaty fair. Went into the wrong train and took me an hour more to get there, stupid me. Was nice, saw people i know and talked to the,, bought some nice things. And around 1pm my bosy said STOP and i went home. Couch potato since. Need to find my place again with work and free time and rest.

Loving Vesnali, shame i am missing loads of it.

Ack! Yeah, we use plastic! I know my son would touch the egg and immediately drop it. He doesn't like hardboiled eggs at all! Yum! That pizza sounds pretty amazing, I would love to try something different then the normal.

oh boy, I bet he had a time trying to get that egg out of the rose bush.
