Last week at my job as a nurse. And pff just had 2 days and they where busy, 2 more to go. Loads of sick co-workers, clients, etc. Covid & flu..

Just had 2 half days the last 2 days but once home i was so tired i fell a sleep on the couch and in no mood to do stuff.

2 more days to go.

Violence will not be tolerated. It's a death sentence for anyone that harms my person.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I was here. I was busy with my birthday, preparing for my choir concert this weekend and visiting my new nephew. For the concert I had to memorize all the lyrics, which was quite a challenge because We have very long Greek song and I don't speak Greek....

I think I had to perform a song in Hebrew for choir once. I'm sure you'll be able to memorize the lyrics :)

Choir was way back in elementary school. Really long ago for me XD

I've been singing for many years now and had to learn songs in all sorts of languages, Besides English and Dutch I've done songs in German, French, Portuguese, Yiddish, Hebrew, some African languages, Czech, and I'm probably forgetting some languages as well. I don't know why the Greek song is giving me such a hard time. I keep swapping sentences or just blanking mid song. Last rehearsal I could sing it completely. I went back to practising it again after a few days and I forgot some stuff again. But I was still doing better than most of the choir so I'm not worrying about it too much anymore.

Think it must have been another with Spirited in her name as I have never had a profile made for me. But I am flattered to think I remind you of someone smart enough to use the services of another to achieve a desired effect. Only meant to show how I feel about violence. Entitled to my guilt. But I promise myself to do better, and that is as good as it gets!

we have a good bye coffee friday morning and the co-workers are taking me out to dinner on the 7th.

- 2 days left. are you excited? i would be. it's nice they're giving yu a farewell coffee and then taking you to dinner. :D as for the theater... i believe some theater companies use nudity for it's shock value. pffftt to them as , like you, i've seen it plenty already. nothing new there. rofl. 😂

I've seen male nudity as well in the theater. I was impressed with the play though, the actors were really good despite of the nudity. I have also been spat on once as part of a theater show and I wasn't too happy about that.... The character took a large sip of water and got some kind scare while standing on front stage. He sprayed his water all over a few people sitting in the first few rows and I was one of them...

Jersey might know. Do remember some long time ago a "musical group" made up from members that had I think Spirited in their user name. I applied a little too late but they did say I had the right name for it. Or maybe search Subeta by the user name.

- oh, that would have pissed me off. i am rather accepting of people but stuff like that, theater or not, just isn't right. i went to a play that was about brazil. hubby was given the tickets by his boss. we took our oldest son with as there were 3 tickets and we thought he'd enjoy the show... oh, boy, did he ever enjoy the show. 😂 every single female on stage was topless through the wholeshow. our son started the show turning a light pink. by the end he was blushing so hard he was bright red. it was all i could do to not laugh . 😆poor kid didn't want to go to any more theater after that. weird thing is that we've always been open with nudity. we've tried to teach our kids there's nothing wrong with it but it seems outside influences creep in anyways. oh well, the kid is 27 now and doesn't turn red at the sight of any nudity any more. 😂

I'm feeling better. Stomach has been up and down today. Didn't help by having a little mild coffee to keep me up until I could take a nap.

just 1 now. And it's weird still feels like i am not leaving. But it's ok will be better after tomorrow. I already got a bouqet of tuips from a resident, so sweet.

I have a little gift for my co-workers tomorrow, a keychain with a clover 4 for luck. And as i have a shift wich means i am most of the day in a small setting with 6 residents i am bringing a small whipped cream cake with me for them as a good bye as i worked loads of shifts in that setting.

& DuckieLol i think so to the nude in the play was not needed... As it was a dance play why nude? Seen it all rolf!

- i know how you feel. it probably won't really set in until you've started your new job. just the actual difference in what you'll be doing will highlight the fact you left. that was sweet of the resident to give you flowers. a whipped cream cake sounds like a lovely way to say good-bye to those you've taken care of before. :D heh, if the nudity is tasteful and advances the story then i have no problem with it. but if it's nudity just to shock or see what they can get away with is simply immature. like 12 and 13 year olds who found the victoria's secret catalogue and are giggling over it. o.o

Nudity can help the story. Writers can be weird so I can't say anything about a specific play without seeing it.

Forget what play I helped with in college, didn't contain nudity, but it was really weird. Think the playwright was known for dressing up as a clown and fishing?

Write today and then deal with Dad tomorrow. It was his birthday earlier this week (I think) and so we're going out for a birthday lunch for him. He's paying as we can't XD

I'm finishing up the final chapter of Kafka's Men Book 3 which means I'll hopefully be editing next week.

- that's nice of him to take you out to dinner for his birthday. :D hubby's birthday is coming up and i think we'll try to go out to dinner for it. we haven't been out for months. i'm afraid of the covid varients so we stay home. i always hated the editing portion of writing. good luck! 😂

I don't like going out but it's a free meal. And since it's his birthday, I'm not making him take me to Longhorn Steakhouse. Even though I deserve a really good steak O.O'

- so, where are you going? i've tried to get hubby to go to the lone star steakhouse here but he's set on outback. it's his birthday so i'm not pushing it. well, you're doing better than i am at writing. i can't seem to make myself write any longer. it's just too difficult to get the words on the page the way i want them to be. oh well, i'll just keep on reading instead. maybe i'll become a book critic. rofl 😆
