Also, I have to complain. I feel like the freaking mask police now. We got "lectured" by the principal yesterday during a 5minute staff meeting about making sure the kids (and ourselves) wear the masks and wear them right. It is so freaking hard to keep 22 4yr olds wearing a mask. We have several that as soon as you help put it back on, and remind them to keep it on, they take it off!!!! Arrrrgh.

Sunday, my brother and our friend worked on my car all damn day. Part of the axle that needs to be replaced doesn't want to come out so we just got stuck there. Pretty disappointing. Once that part is out, the new one will slide right in and then the strut can be replaced and put the rest of the wheel parts back on and it would be mostly done. Crazy how close you can get to accomplishing s/thing....

Got a busy morning. Have a vet appt for 2 kitties for shot updates and then just found out yesterday that my new (cheap) fridge will be delivered between 8:30 and 12:30 so I have to have everything moved out of the old one before I leave for the vet appt. Not to mention getting stuff moved around for the fridge swap. What a pita. I just want to relax this morning, lol.

That sounds awful Taarna! We have some car fixing to do too but.. it's so horrible. Alex always gets frustrated, which is fine when he's working with his dad because they can just cuss and yell at each other, but when he cusses and yells and I'm the one helping... I don't want to keep doing that I want to go inside and take a bath :P

I think self repair jobs on just about anything cause that level of frustration, lol. Oh, and people who game seem to get irrationally pissed off over nothing. About half the time it makes me laugh and other times it makes me want to get far away from them. Also with cars, there's usually self harm done which really causes frustration.

Yeah. And something's always stuck, or you hit your head, or get your finger stuck and it's messy, greasy and tight.

But also you save like... $900 by doing stuff yourself, so there's that :P

There's no way I could've afforded to pay a shop for the repairs I need done to my car. But yeah, fingers get jammed, or hit when you miss the area you're trying to hammer to get a stupid piece off, scrapes and bruises... so much fun. I don't mind getting dirty... except for my hair. I've got bleach blonde hair and that can be irritating to get grease in it, lol :P

Needed a break from stair climbing. Got an old fridge in the basement that I've been moving everything into. Got the freezer part done and everything out of the fridge but now I need to take about half of it back downstairs. A lot of the condiments and pickled stuff can hang out on the counter for awhile so that's a relief b/c bags of jars are heavy.

glad brother has been able to work on your car. Hope it gets fixed soon. It is annoying both ways to me. I hate paying mechanics (who, to me, often seem to try and get you to fix other things too). But I can't fix anything myself and hubby does it but he has issues with bending his wrists since he has plates in both....so has to make son help. It's just agravating.

Ok, I'm going to try and type while watching this damn shop....

Niece is doing great. Her name is Cassiopeia (Cassi for short). My brother has a pinched nerve in his neck that is making his left shoulder/arm barely usable which has made him MIA for awhile.
So when he was over, he was telling us about the "new mom" thing.... but I've been there and I've watched my oldest go through it - we didn't hang out on social media and try to read every single "new" thing that has come out these days about how to parent, what's right or wrong, baby sounds, blah blah.... She hasn't allowed herself to LEARN by being a mother. She's always been that type, and she's still only in her 20's, hell maybe 30 by now. Don't know. Don't really care. She annoys me. My brother is 50, going on 51 in December. I've accepted her b/c of the bond between them.

Rant over... just cutting it short before I keep on ranting. :P

This shop is irritating. I completely skipped this "Hauliday" last year b/c I knew it would just be aggravating. I'm trying now b/c I think I have a better chance at grabbing stuff for people that don't have that kind of time and I like to gift them things I can grab from the shop and I used to do this each year when I worked nights in a different position. Being on a PC for 40hrs a week can have some advantages. It's also advantageous that right now there seems to be a lull in work activities.

I almost always skip this holiday as I almost never see anything in the shop. I do Carl of course and then buy what I want later when it becomes more affordable.

New moms now days do some stuff I never did for sure! Ouch for pinched nerve 😟 but what a cute name!!!

I keep falling asleep while reading the textbook, and I cannot make sense of half of the "formulas" for calculating things. And to be honest I never figured on having to calculate anything in econ anyway!!! Argghhh. I do have a B so far, but I know it's a low B and I'm scared it's going to drop lower no matter how hard I try. 😟

Yes, economics. It is frustrating me to no end. I'm even attempting to do the extra credit writings tho I have no idea if I'm doing them correctly! I hope so, because I am sure I will need the extra credit to help my grade!

I'm also taking psyc! But it's the first basic class. I'm doing great there!!

I think it helps my psyc teacher has 1 chapter a week, plus 2 small homework quizzes in addition to the big quiz. My econ has 2-3 chapters and 1 quiz every two weeks. He does have articles to read to supplement the chapters but after trying to read 3 chapters I don't want to read anything else!!!!

Ugh Elly hurt herself.. and then again. And so today we had to go get an ultrasound on her knee. She's fine though, just hobble-y. But it was a whole thing. Like.. a wholeeeeee thing. Including 2 hours on the phone with Geisinger while I informed them that time travel really wasn't possible because they wanted me to be an hour and a half away in 20 minutes. THREE. TIMES. Ugh.

Anyway. Tonight's our homecoming football game, and the music booster club is working the concession stand. Should be a busy busy night! Iz and Elly are going to sell merch for us.. Iz says she's bringing her cow bell and if people walk by, she's going to cowbell them ahahhaa.

And tomorrow it's go go go all day too. I think Tuesday I'm going to stay home if possible :P
