It's not a prerequisite for psyc. It is a required class for general education. I am trying to get 2yrs of basic classes then I can start teacher education classes. I chose online because then I could do it on my own time. I don't know about a tutor. If I actually start failing I will have to look into that. I like doing stuff on my own anyway and now how someone else wants to lol.....

One of the other moms came over to the concession stand and was like "Uh.. I already have one of these shirts but the little girl over at the table was so funny and ridiculous that I just bought another one."

Today the girls had to be in three different places at the same time. We got through it, though!

Tomorrow.. I WANT to just lie down and do nothing.. but alas.. not to happen :P

[Edit] Took my 3rd econ test last night. It covered 3 chapters. I swear it asked me the same question (differently worded) 3 times!! Good for me tho I guess as it was one I knew the answer to! Lol Got an 84 this time (105/125 points). Currently feel better about econ. (That won't last!)

4H signups are tonight. The girls are all excited (Isabelle is old enough to join for real this year, and Elly's goign to join and do cake decorating), but I'm just so tired LOL.

Yesterday all I did was take 2 naps, and then I slept for 8 hours still!

My last score was a 70 😑 And when I retook it, I got a 60. so glad this one was better. But low scores freak me out cuz they make me worry I will get more and then fail.

Ooh cake decorating sounds fun. My kids never got into 4H ....we do have it but it's not a big thing around here.

Oh it's a pretty big thing here. The girls are actually part of two clubs, since they do sewing through another one.

E is signed up for cake decorating, Lily is signed up for cake decorating, upcycling, electronics (and sewing), and Iz is signed upfor upcycling, cake decorating, arts and craft (and sewing).

So.. that should be fun.

Who needs money for anything but gas, anyway? :P

I never knew 4H did so many different things. Or that you could sign up for specific stuff. In my mind I guess it was sign up and do whatever they do..... I think it's good your girls picked sewing!!! I learned as a girl scout (brownies?) To sew on a button. I can hem very badly too or sew up a hole. Very badly. Lol

Mornings have the least amount of people online, but the shop rarely seems to stock anything rare that isn't from a couple years ago.

Kat, I don't think you came across as negative about your classes - just a little frustrated/stressed. It definitely takes more work to do the learning on your own, but I totally understand wanting to learn it your own way other than the way someone else teaches or presents it.

I also think it's cool that one of your girls is into sewing, Mieke! I love watching cake decorating, but I wouldn't be in to it, lol. Maybe twice a year for my girl's bdays. :P I've never been much of a baker, or much into sweets at all, really.... that's not to say I don't love a good cake from time to time. (hmmm... I think it's going on 2yrs since I've had any :( )

I've done 3 HA contests in the last week. That's what really keeps me motivated, although now that I've spent sP on CSC since the prices have really dropped, I need to get back into questing to make that back for Lumi. Either way, I've enjoyed spending a lot of the time in the wardrobe b/c I feel like I was falling into a rut and I hate that.

My mother in law has a clothing business, where she makes custom, handmade clothing for kids. So it's kind of in their blood. :P Lily and Akira have been doing 4H sewing for three years now. I can't even sew on a button so.. that's nice :P

So yeah. There's business meetings, you go once a month, they're run like.. most kinds of meetings, officers, etc. A few times a year there's volunteer/community service opportunities before the meetings. IDK it's just wholesome and good. :P And it's cheap, only like $21 for the year for each kid, no matter how many clubs they choose.

I love to bake, but I HATE icing cakes. HATE IT. I have all the stuff, I just.. hate it. Lily really enjoyed doing that two years ago, and Elly likes to try and do stuff.. and Isabelle just enjoys anything crafty and involving sprinkles!

I think I would've been good in some of those things, lol. Although now I'm into several of them but raising prize chickens that don't give anything in return gets annoying. Mine have stopped laying eggs several weeks ago (waaay too early this year) but next year I'll have all 6 laying and I'll be a MUCH happier lady. :P

I've always wanted to get a sewing machine and make my own adjustments to clothes but never got around to it - at least not yet. Never say never, right.

Cats found one of the stink bugs that gets in every single year in Autumn and I just let it be so that they know - eventually - not to bother w/ them. Usually they crawl around the ceiling and it's entertaining to watch them chitter or watch the bug but when I see that they have a chance at it, the reaction to it not even throwing out its stench is unique... kinda. They naturally smell like the crap they have waiting inside of them. No - no real use in going after stink bugs. Catch one, 2 show up. Catch 2, 1 more show up. It's ongoing, every.single.year since we've been at this place and to this day, I have no damn idea how they get in. They just don't really bother me anymore. If I see more than 2, then I have to waste my paper towels, napkins or toilet paper to get them and I'm sorry/not sorry, but I'm frugal and I hate that - BUT, I do it after more than 2 starts to accumulate. lol
