Hopefully more people get a chance at cool stuff this weekend. Expect to sift through a lot of fragging fodder. :P

These cooler days, especially the nights, have been awesome.

Good morning to you too! Probably will get more frag fodder. I already got two of the same item this morning. Meh. It's ok tho. We have also been having some cooler weather and it's been so nice.

I don't know why but I'm sitting here watching videos about boat docking antics and it's so entertaining, lol. Sometimes they get really busy and too many boats are in there and they start getting irritated w/ each other and who's in the way and whatnot. Others just can't get their boat on correctly, or even off.

My husband watches those a lot. We laugh a lot but also know we would be bad at it too!!!

Yeah it does seem like it would need quite a bit of practice.

I always hate watching people dock their boats, it gives me anxiety LOL. Because everyone gets so mean! But I do love being OUT on the boat! There's a funny Charlie Berens/You Betcha sketch about it though, google it. It's so great and like.. spot on!

Oh gosh guys it's been such a busy weekend. Friday I had to run errands for the library and took my brother places, then Alex and I went to see the blondies football game... and ended up taking one home. :P Yesterday Elly and I went to the fall fair to sell for the music booster club, Lily had a game (and akira went with), and then today Elly and Lily needed to sell for the Interact club (it's like the high school rotary) at Bridge Day, so Akira and I walked around that.. and then Sunday dinner, of course.

It's been a longgggggg weekend. I'm ready to sit. I've gotten 4 things out of the free shop the entire three days haha.

Haven't been on here much. Still not feeling all that great. 😔

You're welcome, Mieke! That sounds like a very.... not so relaxing weekend. Feels like you never stop working and go from one job to the next and then start all over again on Monday. Not a fan of those, at all.

Yeah... I'm not sure how Kat and so many other people do it, a full time job and hobbies and volunteer work and kids sports, etc etc etc.

It's so much!

I think some people are just built for that kind of lifestyle. I'm not. It probably helps a lot to have a partner. ;)

[edit] More crap I'm watching b/c I finally got rid of my cable so alot of times I put stuff from Youtube on my TV. Apparently we shouldn't kill those creepy house centipedes.... but we shouldn't kill spiders, either. Hey.... if you're in an area that is too far away from a door, then I'm not bothering. Get out of my house!!
Fall season brings more spiders indoors. Haven't seen any of those house centipedes here but I have loads of spiders surrounding the house. Most, I don't bother b/c they're night spiders that put up HUGE webs at night and don't fancy being indoors.

lol this will probably sound funny but I try to be "equal opportunity" ... you do your thing unless you get in my way and then it's a problem. I will sweep up webs and leave spiders alone in half the cases b/c I have this fear that they will take some kind of revenge on me if they are still in the sweeper. Probably some stupid shit I heard as a child but I don't sweep up spiders.

Rambling....cause I have a lot of cleaning to do.

The more kids and activities you have the crazier it is. I lived at the karate studio 3 nights a week for like 2 yrs hahahah (430 class, 5pm class, 7pm class, 3kids....) So grateful to be down to 1 kid and just his activities. And the fact I can just sit after school inside a cool building while he does his then then pop over and get him (his school is just down the street from the one I work at!)

As for my partner. Meh. Most of the time he hasn't helped with the kids stuff at all. However he does do supper for us while we aren't home so I forgive him that.

I loathe a certain 8 legged species.

But I have finally gotten to the point that I can leave them alone if they're in a web in a corner, away from me. And don't move when I'm around.

Also, my husband tonight goes "Band? Tonight? What do you mean from 5-8? Is this new?!"

Even though it's been 4 weeks now, AND three months last year sooooo... :/

The main time my husband was interested in the kids stuff was when my daughter was earning her black belt, and when my youngest was in football. To be fair to him, he was an over the road driver then and those events happened on weekends, which was the only time he was home. But now he is home every night. And he shows little interest in my youngest cross country meets, most of which are weekend too. Tho these are way earlier than the football games and karate stuff was, and also require driving further away. To be honest I think that is his biggest reason for lack of interest. He drives all week and just doesn't want to drive more on weekends.

I told the girls they could join things in high school, when there was a bus. We'll go to all their home games, and we're going to stay home for the away games.

It seems a fair compromise to me. And Alex does go to most of their stuff now, even though he's exhausted. He complains, but.. he always complains :P I think they just have to.

There aren't any "home" meets for cross country. Our school doesn't host any. But we go to others. I try to go to the closer ones. If it's more than a 30-45min drive I don't go due to the gas. I'd love to go watch him but can't fill up my tank 2x a week! Today I could just barely go, but am choosing not to as I am low on gas😟

I don't know if I'd go to a cross country meet, anyway, tbh. All you see is the starting line and finish line, right?! That sounds even more boring than track was...

though maybe I have a different thought on it, since the cross country runners here run right by my house LOL.

Hahaha it's true. But I like watching him run across the finish line! And seeing his time improve each meet....

So I'm exhausted :P I almost fell asleep eating dinner. Tuesday I had to take Nathan to the orthodontist, so I had a sub. Today and Tomorrow my co-teacher is out - so she has a sub for her...and you know kids and routines...so not having one of us there has thrown them a loop. So today was exhausting!! :P I just cannot wait for tomorrow eh? And I have a busy-ish weekend. Regular shopping on Saturday morning, Sunday is youth group (and I'm missing girls to take the boy instead). Then Monday (ok its not a weekend day but still...) he has another cross country meet. This one is VERY local tho (In a town like 10min from here!)

I think one of the most boring activities I attended was softball. It just drags on and on and on... One of the hottest that I also hated was my youngest in cheerleading. The start of the season practice was grueling b/c it's still so hot.
Glad those days are over. I had them both in a self defense class for awhile but I would just drop them off, go home and make dinner, then go back and pick them up. Oh, and my youngest was in choir for about 5yrs. Not my favorite, either.

Moms do sooooo much.

I am SO ready for the weekend! It's been a long week and I just want to sleep. I have some mowing to do and a room to tear the carpet out of so I can get it set up for indoor growing and kitty playroom, but we'll see how far I get. :P I hate being lazy on the weekends but I also hate thinking it's going to be full of more "chores".
