Little update, since I don't feel too sociable...

Niece was born and is in NICU and is doing good. Friday night I had my youngest grandson which is honestly a little 3yr old terror so I didn't sleep well and had him all day on Saturday. Finally, I think I'm in for a good sleep on Saturday night (think I passed out around 9:30) and 2hrs later my phone is ringing and it's my younger daughter. She'd literally flipped her car on it's side. Made sure her and her b/f were ok and waited for her to be dropped off, which was nearly 2hrs later. In a nutshell, she took a curve too fast, hit a pole or s/thing (she doesn't remember what) which caused it to flip. Thankfully she was wearing her seatbelt. B/f wasn't so he got cut up when he landed on top of her. Scratched up and sore, they're ok. Getting a rental for her has been a pita, since they keep overbooking reservations and apparently rentals are in high demand right now.
My car still isn't fixed and now I don't know when it will get that way since the brother working on it is the one that just had the preemie. Really sucks that I haven't been able to help out my daughter other than to guide her through the process of dealing w/ insurance, rental and other crap.

Just got too much on my mind right now so I might be a little hit and miss this week.

Oh my your life has gotten busy . Glad baby has been born safely and is doing good in NiCU. Thank goodness daughter was wearing seatbelt! Hopefully her boyfriend will too now! Glad they are both ok. (Side note, my daughter's boyfriend had an accident yesterday! Gosh kids, be careful!!!) It is a pain when you feel you can't do more to help yourself or a child out...I hope you can get your daughter a rental and your own car fixed soon...tho I am sure brother is distracted with baby and spouse right now!!

As for me, today I decided to add all of kayanos uneaten food to my wishlist and sort it. Gulp. Around 5k items. I swear he has eaten some of these but eh.

You guys are terrifying me, I just made an appointment for Elly to get her physical to go get her permit and I'm like.. AHHHH!

A physical? For drivers or learner's permit? Huh. Didn't have to do that here.

Don't worry. It'll be fine. Accidents do happen. But most of the time everything goes fine. Nathan will be getting his learner's permit in August! 😯 My baby!!

Yeah, you need a physical form filled out before you get your permit. I was surprised, too!

Got one child off to a volunteer time....gonna have the other child pick him up as my gas light came on and I can't get more gas til this evening! Meh.

I told Nathan he has to keep his learner's til he is 18 like his sister did hahaha. No insurance cost on the learner's. Really tho it will depend on if we can afford to get him a car of his own and if he needs to be able to drive himself or if we want him to 😉

She really had no need of driving herself or the want to. Until she graduated. Then she had a job and got her own car! 😁 She was on my insurance for part of her senior year tho....

Ellys starting her job next week... and it's not like you can walk anywhere, here! So I honestly can't wait for her to get her license and be able to drive without one of us, but we already have a car. Insurance is SO MUCH though. Like.. it's insane. It's going to be the same price for her as it already is for Alex and I like.. ew. :P

Be glad she isn't a boy. Boys cost more than girls. At least here. Especially younger ones. That's why I tease Nathan he can keep his learner's. I do NOT want to pay insurance. I will tho. I know I will. 😝

Hahahhaa. Yeah, the plan is that she has to pay half, and if she doesn't make honor roll, she has to pay the whole thing. Because school IS your full time job, as long as you're in it.

For me I guess it will depend. If he gets his own car he has to pay for it and gas and insurance. If he uses my car he at least has to pay gas to go places he wants to go. He doesn't have a job. I don't know if he will get one once he is 16 or not. But he is only turning 15 this august so we have a while 😉

Just shampooed part of my carpet. Need to do the whole thing but it's a small shampooer. And the floor takes forever to dry. Part today hopefully other part tomorrow....or later tonight if I feel up to it. Wish my big one still worked. Didn't realize when I bought this it was so small.

I really hate it.

I can't decide if I have some crazy hives (from what? I may never know, since I did nothing different) or got seriously attacked by some biting bugs today but I. AM. MISERABLE and in pain.

Umm yeah I think I'd rather have carpet than concrete slab....for now. Hubby wants to put wood style floor in. Even if it's just fake. Maybe one day. I like carpet. Or at least rugs. (I prefer vacuuming to mopping!!)

We're taking tomorrow completely off, staying home in our PJs all day. I am very much looking forward to it! :P

I was good yesterday thanks! Oh yesterday we went shopping. Then relaxed at home for a bit. Then hubby decided to pressure wash the porch and mow the lawn. I cleaned in the house some. Then I went to Nathan's youth group banquet night.

Today more house cleaning this morning and this afternoon will be installation of officers for Katie's youth group.

So now I'm tired lol!!

Ugh sorry! Life's just been crazy, and I haven't wanted to sit and play. I haven't quested since the end of the quest-a-thon, I don't think!

Yesterday we did.. nothing.. and it was terrific.

Today I'm cleaning and packing for Impact.. we leave Wednesday morning, and I need to have the van cleaned out and vacuumed, tents, sleeping stuff, clothes, etc put into it.. ugh! I'm not prepared, really!
