Oh no 🤪 It sounds like quite a lot. But I'm sure the kids had fun! Lol at the rabbit/alpaca. Working in PreK I've learned a lot that happens is just go with the flow!! Try to make it learning and fun!! Sounds like you managed that!
All the extra cleaning and sanitizing is no fun tho. Especially outside!!
Have you ever heard of the game "chickens on the loose"? It should be adaptable to no touching, if you're allowed to use something you can sanitize between kids, like maybe a pool noodle? It's basically a version of tag. But you have a farmer who has to catch the chickens lol Guess it depends on how strict your "no touching" rule is really.
No one is touching any of the same things. It's.. difficult. We did play with a big ball today but.. it was a disaster. :P
Tomorrow we're doing "red light green light" with Akira as the middle person, since she's vaccinated so it doesn't really matter if they touch her all that much. It's basically just keeping the kids from touching each other or any of the same things.
Yeah. We were doing that in class last year at first. Then we got to the point we were like, these 4 at the same table can all touch the same stuff like glue sticks or markers. We didn't let tables mix tho. We had 5 table groups. If someone at a table had got sick the whole table would have had to quarantine anyway....lol
To be honest.....I feel it's all a bit much. I can deal with the extra sanitizing and some separation, but sometimes it's too extreme.
Well this is only for a few hours total, like 10, so its not really a huge deal... except when it comes to the games. :P
There's only 4 preschoolers anyway so.. also not a huge deal. Maybe if there were a bunch, it would be!
hello! just dropping by to chat and see who's around. an old time user but a first time chatter!
Hello and GM out there.
I finished Mori and Sag on my phone, of all things, last night. Definitely faster than my Fire tab.
Thanks Mieke for the ping for the giveaway last night.
It's been super humid and sticky around here, too. Mostly been cloudy and pop up showers every day since Saturday and continuing on through the rest of the week. It's annoying weather. On another note, the rain has really made my veggies sprout up quicker.

Quest-A-Thon! 2,006,627 quests completed
We did it!!!
Hello welcome!!
It's been raining here too and I'm so excited I have apples on my apple trees that are actually big enough to see now!!! Last year I had like 2 flowers on one tree, so nothing happened. This year I had like 4 flowers on one tree and over a dozen on the other and I have apples!!!! I have had the first tree for around 5 yrs and the 2nd tree for 2 or 3 yrs. The older one is red delicious and the younger is granny Smith. I want to get more fruit trees, like pear, cherry, plums....but haven't yet.
Wow, hadn't even looked at the quests completed. Coolio.
I wish I had planted some fruit trees years ago when I first thought of it. I guess I was always deterred about how long they took to start producing. Yay for apples!! Maybe I'll get started and see how it goes, lol. Did you start with a small tree from a nursery?
Oh I forgot to mention that I actually got a lizard event last night. Same way I got my Tempest events last week, I was just sitting there mindlessly playing slots and saw the lizard drop me off a beanbag. :P

Oh I find slots boring...but yay for it getting you tempest and lizards!!
They were fairly small yes. I got them at Lowes to be honest. Hehehe. Maybe they would have done better from a nursery ? I don't know. But I saw them and got them. I had 2 red delicious at first but one died. That's why the 2nd is a younger tree.
Slots is good for fragging fodder. lol
I think Lowes might actually get a lot of their stuff from nurseries. Definitely don't think it would be any better or worse. Hell, I get a lot of my stuff from Walmart and it does really good. We just happen to live down the road from a nursery that caters to both businesses and us green thumbs.

True! I only do it for drills. There is a nursery in my town but I've never been. I am a Walmart person myself. I get almost all my stuff there. Not meat. But groceries (we have a super center), clothes, shoes, household and pet supplies.... Building supplies and plants are usually from Lowes. We've built a swing, benches, tables, fences.....we have done gardens of veggies and flowers. The terrace weeds/trees just keep over growing the flowers and the veggies just never did well 😒
Yep! I've got an excellent Walmart nearby. I've always wanted to practice starting things from seeds so I pick them up from there. Houseplants... oh gawd I can go crazy picking up little guys I find on sale that my daughters would just roll their eyes at me when I get distracted by one of the displays b/c it happens all the time. Got my lily bulbs from there nearly 10yrs ago and the Easter lilies are about 5ft tall now.
Hmm.. think I'll work on getting some pics uploaded to imgur today. Trying to get through the quests to get the last of the goodies.
Your place sounds awesome!

Right now I've got outside is an overgrown terrace, two porch swings (one on a stand we built in the yard), a picnic table, a fire pit, a small pool and the inflatable hot tub. And the apple trees and a lilac bush(had 2 of those too, but 1 died...need to get more). Inside is the two tables and one of the toy boxes hubby built. Oh and multiple bookshelf's that aren't great but we're his first attempts at building me things..so <3 Wish the gardens had been able to do right. That looked awesome. Meh. I guess it is still awesome, but I liked the prettiness of the flowers but got tired of the terrace overtaking it every year and gave up.
You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here! Yay! Haven't had one in a while!
Random Event You notice a Bloodred Potion on the ground, but right when you bend down to pick it up, lizard minions come out of nowhere and scurry off with it!
Your trap springs and you spray like mad as the lizard minions escape. They will not get away this time! You place Bloodred Potion into your inventory.
And a lizard event! Good day for me!
Jeez... you and those lizards! lol
I tried making some stone steps out of basically what I had available to me down the hill of the side of my house and every one of them has been pushed back out. lol Damn lot of work. Maybe I'll try again when it cools off late summer. Even my garden is pretty haphazard but my thoughts are, hey, as long as it's useful. :P
[edit] Some pics
The newer babies that have sprouted up from the older ones -

The older ones closer to 9yrs of age, with that top bloom being up to my face and I'm 5'5" -

Blooms

Yes, I have a deflated pool, lol. At least I didn't buy it b/c I would've had it returned by now.

Those are gorgeous! I love lilies, they're my favorite flowers. We don't really have any though, which is.. weird. Our flowers are just.. well, they're just kind of shown up and I kept them :P
We do have a garden with produce though, but our squash are taking over everything right now and I'm not going out there because spiders. Gross. Someone else needs to do it. Alex says he will all the time but.. doesn't. :P
I was never really lily obsessed like I am now and it all started w/ a few bulbs that just kept coming back, growing bigger, and those Easter lilies have the most divine smell that I couldn't get over it. I have some asiatic lilies that are much smaller, but still several years old and haven't bloomed yet, and I'm about to upload one of my tiger lily (splenden variety) that I've had for about 7-8yrs and are just as tall as the Easter's.
In my small flower garden, I still leave room for other plants I start from seed to see what they look like - if and when they bloom - but given the sheer number of lilies I've accumulated (more recently 2 more varieties from my daughter that are very young) I might as well just make it an entire garden of lilies and start a secondary flower garden that grows whatever. :P

My middle daughters name is Lily :P I love stargazers, I used to have one, but it got dug up I think, and never replaced.
There's irises on teh side of the house, that my aunt and I dug up from a dump once? Hahaha. Some narcissuses, because I gave them to my Nana every year for Easter because she loved them, and she planted them. Daffodils from my Uncles house after he died. A few tulips, because my Nana was dutch and loved them.
And then lilacs... from a bush my mom and Nana made my cousin and I tresspass and illegally dig up from next to an old abandoned barn. Now it's huge after living here for 20 some years!
Lilacs smell SO GOOD I love them! They make the whole yard smell so great!
We also have lots of blueberry, blackberry and some raspberry bushes. And two apple trees. And two peach trees. We've never gotten to eat anything from the apple and peaches though, because the deer and everything else get to them first. Which is fine because.. I love to watch the animals too. :P
