Oh I forgot... yes, I HATE.......no, I ABHOR spiders! Gawd those things are everywhere.
This year what is really the bane of my existence are the sticker plants and the wild strawberries. I don't use any weed prevention or pesticides b/c I'm too worried about my plants but it has gotten really bad this year. Was just out there pulling a hundred sticker plants out of the front area. 😠
(HAHAHAHAHA cat just rolled off the table and looked at me like it was my fault)
My neighbor, who's camper you see in the background of the tiger lilies, planted lilac bushes on that side and there's another one on the other side of my house that were already here when I moved in. (I rent but can basically do anything I want and never have to worry about replacing major stuff.) I never knew lilacs could smell so good! They seem to need a lot of trimming though, and I've tried to take the babies that sprout at the very bottom towards the base of the plant and transplant them but w/ no luck.
See, I just let it all grow. Lilacs? They do their own thing. Hydrangea? It does its own thing. :P Ranunculus, bleeding heart, etc etc etc. I don't understand flowers.
And yessss I hate them! My throat has been sore for days because I keep finding them places. Today I opened the cabinent, looked and saw nothing, put my hand in to grab the frying pan.. and BAM there he was.
Ahhh jealous of the raspberry bushes. I have wild blackberries, tiny and tart. Tried to plant strawberries and raspberries but they died 😟
I obviously do not have a very green thumb.
Oh man, I would be eating every berry that was available as soon as it was ripe. What I think I like even more are mulberries.
Always wanted roses... have a rose bush that is from last year and for some reason, it's looking pretty shitty. I did notice there were a lot of japanese beetles around this year. They seem to require a lot more care than I've been willing to put into it... especially w/ multiple small gardens scattered here and there that I always have to maintain and restart each year.
Mieke did you see the tiger lilies I posted? Love your girl's name and so appropriate for a lily lover. ;)
I don't either. As a matter of fact, I haven't bought any of the flower baskets the library sells because I just.. have never in my life had a flower basket live past a week and a half, but we had an extra one and it got sent home with me and it's been alive and growing and kicking for months and months, and it's SO exciting! LOL.
I am more of a let it do its thing type of Gardner now for sure since I had so !much trouble with my flower gardens and veggie gardens in past years😂 So yeah. My rose bushes are being eaten by something but I never see what....so I don't know what if any type of pest control to try....

And yeah, Iz and Lily go out and pick the berries but I don't know if any of them have made it into the house for the past four or five years haha.

We used to have a plant sale in our office and could get rather large houseplants for like $10. I bought several over the years and so have others and not a single person has had it last more than a few months. Just lets me know that their overpriced products in the store are definitely not worth it.
Ok, now for the long ago promised DIY projects I've done over the last few months:

I don't use any social media except for Instagram, and that's just b/c I could spend hours looking at pictures, lol. I recently quit Twitter, which was the last thing I was on b/c there was WAY too much going on and I didn't want to be tempted down that ignorant rabbit hole. (I also have a tendency to be "vocally free" and back when I learned how you can be judged by your social media stuff -waaaay back, like a decade ago - I opted out of FB and when things just got crazy last year both politically and otherwise, I dropped off of Twitter. )
I have a couple things on a separate YT channel of the last time I went camping. One video shows this really cool tunnel that only one car can go through at a time. It's PinkyOutdoors, if anyone wants to see. There's not much on there.
So I saw a new video for a more advanced faux window that I SO want to do. Have yet to watch it b/c I know when I do, I'm going to want to make it. Have some leftover wood from an old wood slat frame I had and that's what I used to make the bench but still have plenty left. Got me a circular saw this year, which is why I'm able to do more woodwork stuff. Would love a miter saw... but that seems more craft orientated... in a way.

I've got basically everyone I know blocked on facebook :P But it definitely can be a weird place, full of obnoxious and annoyances!
I took some pictures the other day, but my phone is downstairs now, I'll have to upload them later. Apples and baby peaches and such. :)

I have to ignore a lot of crap on Facebook. Friends and family post stuff I disagree with? But everyone is allowed their opinion so I skip past and ignore things a lot. I mostly post pictures, keep in touch with distant living famiky members and play farmville2 😁
And I don't do any other types of social media.

Hi everyone. I went quiet to attempt to get the quests in every day. I think I managed it (including Sarah, so finally got those achievements too!) including a couple of extra wizard quests so fingers crossed for the gold border. How did everyone else do?
I randomly went through the achievements too and wasted some SPs to get some. Lol. My WL is a mess. I need to go through it but it'd be easier on the laptop and I rarely get that out nowadays.

Is anyone else looking forward to the Olympics? I love watching the Olympics! Opening ceremony is on our wedding anniversary and the husband will be home for a couple of weeks (currently deployed) a few days later so I'll get to watch the gymnastics while he spends time with the kids. And the times are pretty decent for us in the UK. WooHoo!
Yay for hometime for hubby and Olympics. I like watching some things but don't usually watch. Hubby watches random crap on YouTube or Netflix/other streaming things and I'm on my computer. 😝

Hi guys. Just a quick real life update from me.
Spent most of yesterday in a&e. Due to my back. Had two bladder scans, a finger up my arse, and a MRI.
Outcome my L1 and L2 are bulging discs, they confirmed my L3 and L4 have degenerative disc disease which I already knew. So on bed rest for the rest of the week. I’m high on pain meds.. joy
Also for some stupid reason I can’t view any posts in here. Both on my laptop, ipad and phone. It just spins. Then times out.
