Some days I dont get any morty cards, so.e days I get 3 or 4. It's weird. I agree there should be better qp given out. We just had a major rush. And now a little break. I'm sure there will be another rush. It stopped raining around noon....got busy after that.

So after my last post, I got 2 more morty cards. What the hell.

Finished all quests and I'm saving Cursed quests until it resets to Mori - thanks to Kat for the inspiration to get those done at the end of the night. :P

Mowed about 95%, which was all that was really needed. Weeded a couple gardens (they're relatively small) and after the mowing, I took another dip b/c I had gotten hot and tired, even though it's only in the low 70's and the dew point is in the 50's (very low humidity). Sat outside on my tiny porch w/ the cats for a bit and took some pictures of them and the red finch family that started on my porch and now hangs out on the lilac bush right next to the porch.

One of these days I'll get the images loaded into imgur. I just hate going through the whole process of sending them to my email, signing in, downloading them and then uploading them to imgur. It's irritating. There's an app I can use BUT, I swear it never works so I just gave up. The only social media I have is Instagram and I really haven't done a whole lot of anything w/ that for a couple years now.

Oh yeah, I normally just upload the pictures to 'only me' on facebook and then post them that way. Quick and easy!

Today was supposed to be a quick and easy day too... just one library program in teh morning, then home. Instead, library, then I took my brother grocery shopping... he wanted to go for lunch first, AND he paid, so.. ok. We did that. He's very annoying. Then I ran into OUAC for their 10 for $10 clearance sale. Total was $673.50 and they couldn't figure out how to make that into $30. I thought they were trying to do something with the computer but.. nope. They just couldn't do the basic math. Even with a calculator. :/

Then it took TWO HOURS and 12 minutes to get my oil changed. Just did it at walmart since that's where he wanted to do his grocery shopping. Then had to run into ANOTHER store to pick up Ellys meds and some other stuff. Got gas, dropped him off.. and then the GPS took me the LONGEST, weirdest route home. I'm still not sure how it did it. And when we were finally where I knew we were...

we heard a crash ahead of us as we were coming up. Two cars were completely totaled, across both lanes. Another 45 minute detour through three towns, but we finally made it home.

Everyone in both cars looked OK, and there were already paramedics on the scene (He was driving behind them!). Hopefully they really are OK, but also.. just another annoying thing. :P

Now it's time to sit and do some quests, I guess!

Mori done! Had 2 from earlier when I did Shinwa but at least I got the rest on her behalf and I finished all quests today for the first time in.................................... hell if I know.

That sounds like a helluva day, Mieke. And yes, Walmart is notoriously slow - overbooked - for their automotive services. It's like those 15min oil change places.... they overbook themselves, run into problems and then everyone behind in line ends up waiting over half an hour, still sitting in their car. My daughter and I went to one of those ONE time and that was it.

Forgot to mention, I did get a couple bathing suits the other day! My oldest was over w/ a couple of the grandkids and I happily took the granddaughter to the bathing suit section to get her a couple, too. :P I miss shopping for little girls, lol. She was so happy to see all the pretty things and I just love dressing up girls. (mine weren't too fond of it so I had a limited time to do it) - it's funny though, in lieu of that last sentiment, they are both now very girly with their attire. One went very emo-ish and the youngest just got extremely picky and self conscious.

Iz LOVES her clothes! Most of them are custom made for her, but I did get a lot of dresses (and a few long rompers, and two outfits) for school.

Lily and Akira also love clothes, Elly and Daizya... enhhhh. :P

Hello all! Stayed open late due to customers. Just got home and did Mori and now headed to bed. Super crazy sales today!! Might sell out tomorrow!! We did that last year but did not expect to sell out until the 4th this year. But wow. After today, we just might!!

Edit: Everything but Sarah done again today. No morty cards (I got one yesterday!), but I did get an extra wiz quest! Sadly, it was while I was doing them, so I didn't get an extra 50 tokens, but not too bad, anyway!

Yes it's awesome! It also means less packing up to return items! We have no aerials left, only 1 small variety bag type and novelties like sparklers popits, and firecrackers left!! We will open for a few hours tomorrow to see if those will sell. I am leaving a little early as we had plenty of help. So now I have some time to quest!!

All done with the fireworks sale. We have very very little left. Nothing big at all. Just going to pack up what's left tomorrow and return it.

Akira full on sneezed directly into my face Thursday and now I've got her cold and I am MISERABLE. Thankfully my ear and throat don't hurt anymore, but I forgot how to breathe and like.. WHY THOUGH.

All cleaned up and packed and all. Just waiting for our return time now. (1pm). The fireworks fundraiser is an awesome one!!! We get so much profit from it, it's wonderful😊 we even split our profit with the masonic lodge who sponsors our youth group, and we both get plenty of funds!! It does help we took over an established location from another of our youth groups in the state and that since then we've built up a good customer base that returns every time!

Edit: Good evening. Everything went well at returns. Then I came home and floated in the pool for an hour. Now doing quests while hubby grills dinner.

Hiiii! I've been worn down by mini humans and just trying to get my quests in. Nearly forgot yesterday. Oops. I try to get them down now (the morning for me) or earlier so it's done and I haven't got to worry later.

Good morning! Glad to know mieke and I are not alone. I know everyone has other things to do 😁 we miss you when you don't post tho!!

Today I am working on the household. It has been mostly neglected while I've been busy for two weeks. So I'm sure some of you can imagine the mess. Floors need sweeping and mopping, bathrooms need cleaning, carpets need vacuuming, laundry needs done. To be fair, some of this was done during the two weeks but just not completely or done well and some just need constant doing...so....yeah.

We do miss you all!

Woke up feeling.. somewhat more human today! .... I think that sleeping for 11 hours straight helped a lot LOL.

Got a cough now, but I can mostly breathe through my nose so.. I'll take it!

Ugh, we need to clean too. I just feel bad making the girls do it when I don't want to get up and help. :P But I think they're going to have to!

Glad you are feeling better mieke! I also feel bad making my kids do things when I am not helping. But sometimes you have to. Nathan has mowed the front lawn with the push mower as both riding mowers are having issues....he is currently cleaning his room because it's a disaster. I have unloaded/reloaded the dishwasher and washed the rest by hand, started two laundry loads, and cleaned out two cabinets and reorganized them so I could tell what we had to eat in there!!

I have also done Sarah, Shinwa, Wizard, Chase, Blue, Carl. Library, Cinthia and am on Maleria..phew.

Whew, great job!

I've.. managed to take a shower, and JUST finished my quests haha. Not much of a day, really. :P
