I am doing volunteer time at another fundraiser 🤪 We usually do this in March but last year was cancelled and this march we didn't have enough notice. I'm not thrilled with this one at all and am only going to show support. Am hoping the y will decide not to do it anymore. It is working "security" at the nascar race. For some reason we are having in this month here and had one in March. It's been very hard to get volunteers for this the past few times.

I get to work the condo from 2-8 today and tomorrow which means I get to open and hold the door, tell people they cannot park in certain spots and can only unload under the awning area.....etc. fun...not Catering people are the worst...."I'll only be a minute." NO!! You cannot park there!!! I learned that fast two years ago last time I did it.

I just got done with my FBI fingerprints, child abuse and criminal record checks for the school, so I can volunteer in the school for marching band, since apparently they super super need people. Probably because it's like $50 to volunteer. :/

Sorry I've been MIA. Took the weekend away and just enjoyed a lot of me time, and sleep. This week has just been kind of hit and miss on how I feel.

I'm loving the prizes the quests give out. Totally makes it worth it, for me. There's so many things I haven't seen before.

Got a rainy weekend so I'm cool just to sit here and play around on Subeta with stuff playing on the tv in the background. I actually finished my quests last night on my Fire tablet and I swear, Kat, I don't know how you do it. Today I've got Sag and Cursed left, which I'll probably do later.

Hiii taarna!! Missed you. Glad you got an enjoyable relaxing me time in!! To each their own on the electronics they use eh? It did take me a little while to adapt to it, but as I loved how fast it went, it's worth it to me. Hahaha I would love to not be quite so busy. Monday I have a 1hr drive to the orthodontist for Nathan. Next weekend I have to go to Kentucky for a funeral (2-3 days I'll be away from home), than the weekend after that Nathan has his youth group statewide meeting. Thank goodness I only go for one evening. But then it's back to work!! I guess my summer vacation was like the first two weeks in June??? LoL which was also busy, just not days on end.

$50!! We only charge like $10 at our school system. And that's to cover the background check.

I was sitting here making some scrolls so I can do more battling. Haven't done it in quite some time. So much cheaper to make them than to buy them. As much as you have to deal with during a school year, I would think you would want the longest break (especially from kids, lol) possible. Alas, it definitely seems as though you give your time to so many good things. <3 Are you guys driving to KY? Sorry for the loss (yours or hubby's..both).

My Fire tablet is several years old so it's not fast at all. It's just that I'm used to opening things up in new tabs quite efficiently on my laptop and it makes it go faster and on the tablet, I have to click on each thing and then go back. I could open each thing up in new tabs but that would actually take longer.

It is hubby's uncle. We will be driving. It's about 6-7 hr drive depending on traffic. He wants to go early Thursday. Funeral will be Friday morning. Depends on how he feels that afternoon on if we stay another night or go home. Thank you <3

I have made scrolls too (achievements...lol). Some items get pricey on the higher scrolls !

I do like having quiet time, but at the same time I honestly don't know what to do with myself on non busy days....I sit and play computer and read and get bored...so I guess it's good I am more busy than not?

There's achievements for making scrolls? Sheesh... been here too long and I feel like there's so little I know, lol.
But hey... I do keep an eye out, especially w/ these retired items prizes, for some of the stuff you guys collect. ;) I'm not huge into collections so if s/thing is really high priced, I tend to check if people I know may have them on their WL's.

Next week is VBS, which should be fun but I'm betting exhausting. :P I already put the 25th in the calendar as a "I'M NOT LEAVING THE HOUSE DAY" so I don't care WHAT happens, I'm not going. It's the first day I won't have gone places and done things since May 8th. I'm over places and things :P

Hahah I only made them working towards the achievement. Honestly most of them don't seem to be with battling with...or else I just don't get how to use them for battling.

Today wasn't too bad....tomorrow will be crazier. Tomorrow is the major nascar race. Blah. I do enjoy speaking with the people who come in and out of the condos tho. Gives me something to do besides sit/stand and look around.

Morning guys! Well.. afternoon, now!

It was a busy day at church, followed by grocery shopping. We left the house at 8:15 and got home at 3. Iz is in the bath, Lilys getting ready for a party, then we'll drop Lily off and go lay on my in-laws couches for a few hours for sunday dinner LOL.

Sounds like a nice day. I was at the races again....2-8. today was busier but was waaaay cooler. Storms were just south of us but thankfully didn't shut down the race. But it made a nice cooling breeze all day!!

Monday...busy ... Lol Today I am taking the trash off (forgot to do it Saturday), taking son to orthodontist (1hr drive each way), and dropping pants off at the dry cleaner to be pressed as son ran them thru the dryer unknown to me and they're super wrinkly and he needs them for the funeral. See y'all a little while at the ortho.

That's a long trip for an ortho appointment.

Ugh, First day of VBS.

I'm exhausted. Lily is exhausted. Iz is exhausted.

I need a shower. It's so humid outside, I just feel sticky and icky and gross. :P

VBS is supposed to be fun!!! What all did you guys do? 😯😊

We're still taking lots of Covid precautions, so we're outside for everything but music.

We had to reset up the tent this morning (and take it down again!) put down all the tablecloths and tape them down really well, tape down our social distancing trains Sit your caboose on your caboose, please!.

Andddd... after 5 months of planning.. it turns out no one knew what they were supposed to do :P The new pastor was supposed to do storytime, but she decided last minute she was going to be the livestreamer. So then our storytime people had NO clue what they were doing.. AND the pastor read the story in her opening.

We got it all worked out, though! I was with the preschoolers, we played three games (that we just.. made up on the spot, since all the games in the program involved touching each other. Conductor says was very popular :P). We had storytime and snack, and then made a rabbit puppet.. which was apparently an alpaca! Whatever, this is fine. Went in for music, came back out, finished our rabbits then played another game. Then packed almost everything back up, took the 10x20 tent down to be put back up tomorrow, swept, disinfected, cleaned, etc.

We sent lunches home with everyone too, since we're not having them today. It doesn't sound like a lot, but man.. it was tiring! haha.

Lily did music, so she sang and danced for the entire time. Also exhausting!

Iz was part of the VBS crowd, but apparently she had fun! She's just tired forom getting up early :P
