Thank you!! I am quite pleased with it considering it's only my second go at making CSS for a profile!
I got a notice that I was missing credits and ringo who made my profile gone so I looked and found where I thought the images used were from and added all I could think of. Is there any credit I missed? Can I get away with crediting the way I did?
Lila's pet spotlight nomination was denied for the following reason(s): • Missing credits • Please credit writing and the images used in the profile.
there is no overlay image. watch-clock-and roses, cards - require a link to source if it is not part of the doll image. background and other information require link to source if possible a direct link to page it was taken from.

I think perhaps because the credits are quite confusing? To me anyway.
"watch, clock necklace, and roses are real life items and part of the picture they have no marks as to who made them." ... what does this mean?? If they are part of the photo of the crochet doll, no need to mention them. Doubt you need the name of the crochet designer.
So instead of: Lila Character Crochet Doll Created by gryphongrl using a modified pattern by Green Frog Crochet | Doll Photo by gryphongrl | watch, clock necklace, and roses are real life items and part of the picture they have no marks as to who made them.
Use: Lila Character Crochet Doll created by gryphongirl Photo of Doll by gryphongirl
Also instead of : card image, background and anything else not by Ringo on the profile from freepik
Use: Card Image and Background by freepik
also add: gallery artwork by gryphongirl
hope this makes sense!
I think that's much better, and like the image :)
I finished Woofy. So happy to have gotten her done. :) I was not expecting to finish four pets during this year, but here I am!
I hope everyone else had a fantastic year of pet progress too. And am looking forward to 2024! :D
Ooh yes, I like your suggestion. I moved the heart over so it’s aligned with the text—so much easier to see and more noticeable. Thanks so much! :D
Oop, yes, thanks for that.
hey y'all! I finally rewrote and polished this profile. I'm a little concerned the text is hard to read, but it could be because I'm sleepy and I've been staring at it too long lmao. let me know what you think!!
edit + content warning: forgot to mention - this is an informational pet regarding an infectious parasite and includes descriptions of symptoms, etc!
I finally managed to finish my pet Valentine Brothers after more than a year 😅 These two characters are very special to me, and I love Luke more than any other fictional character EVER, so I hope the profile does them justice ❤
My only real concern is that in the story section, the handwriting-style text might be hard to read. I wanted to use two very different fonts to make it clear which brother is speaking, but I can change Jan's to a more normal sans-serif font if it's too difficult to read now.
Also since they're a fan pet, I'm hoping the story makes sense even to someone who isn't familiar with Hellsing/these specific characters. Of course if there are any other problems I need to fix, please let me know! Thanks!!
P.S. Yes, the February 15 birthday is intentional. These two are such idiots that they would totally be late for their own holiday 😂
I love them! I remember you adopting the pet from me when you said Feb 15th was intentional. lol The story makes sense and the different fonts are easy to read and the perfect size. Also love the art. I nominated so best wishes for Spotlight! :)
Oh, I didn't remember I got the pet from you! (My memory is terrible lol.) As you can see, the birthday was perfect 😁
Thanks so much for the feedback and nomination ❤ The pictures of them from the comic are so funny that I had to include them!
I also thought the bloodred Blob was perfect for them since it has one gold eye and one green eye, and their eyes are gold and green!
Hi there! I won the pet spotlight several times many years ago. I stopped trying after my last win, when someone made an unkind comment about the lack of work put into it. I really like simple profiles with short stories, so that’s what I do with most of my pets. But I’d like some honest, minus the unkindness, feedback on whether these are too simple/boring, please. Thank you!

First, I'm so sorry someone was unkind about your profile designs; minimal profiles are challenging in their own way to make, and not every profile needs to be incredibly detailed/interactive to still be creative and unique! I'm glad you're giving the pet spotlight a shot again.
I love the connection between Aldene and Ivoire's profiles the most - having them interact, even briefly, made me feel more interested in these characters. I thought that it would be really cool to read about a brief interaction between them, where they actually meet and learn something from each other or something.
Marybeth has a really cute profile too! I think of these three, this one felt the most incomplete. The sentiment is really sweet, and I think there's a lot of potential here for a brief story about making jams for people, or even sharing a recipe or an experience. I like the art too, and it made me wonder more about what kind of person/character Marybeth is!
Best of luck in the spotlight!
