How rude! I can't stand people like that. I'm sorry you were treated that way. There is no excuse for it and they are wrong anyway! I've been told the same thing, and it hurts my feelings and pisses me off. Basically since I usually paid someone to write the story and often whatever art (tho I have recolored a bunch myself) and even for the code I used, I didn't put any work at all into my pets. When actually, I have spent thousands of hours on them over the years, most of it trying things and searching for what I want. Since I don't write code, I use what I've bought or been given from others through the years, with their permission, in a piecemeal fashion on many of my profiles to get the result I want, almost always. That takes a long time. And I edit the rest too, as far as backgrounds, colors, fonts, quotes and I usually make the names. There are actually only a few of my profiles that were completely made by someone else. So what? Why shouldn't I take advantage of some extremely talented people here? It is my choice. And the winners of the Spotlight cover all areas and types of profiles, from plain to very complex, as long as they follow the few rules, so it's fair. But even if that weren't so, it doesn't give anyone the right to snub anyone's pets or work like that. They are entitled to their opinion, but they should be nice about voicing it. And in MY opinion like the old adage, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!

Back to your pet profiles. I liked all of them. They are somewhat simple, but there is a certain beauty to that. They are easy and interesting to read; and the colors, images, and placement are well done. The art of Marybeth was lovely, and I nominated her. I did think she could use a bit more story perhaps. Aldene was already nominated. I thought Ivoire might need more treasures in the TC. Maybe more kinds of tea or tea sets. But that is only my opinion. I loved how she and Aldene were separate sides of the same story.

I think it will feel more complete to me then. I agree Ivoire’s TC is sparse and it always catches my eye when I’m in there, but it is just what she carries in her bag, so I feel that connection to carrying just what’s most important to you and how fascinating that is. Maybe if I centered it, though, it would look less like I just forgot to add more stuff. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for the heads up about turning off her nomination for the update. I kept forgetting to take the time to turn them off and my main pet received more than one denial and I knew what I needed to fix, but it wasn't a priority. I should have gone in and turned off the ability to nominate him, but I just kept putting that off, too. The simple things we do to ourselves to make life more challenging. I really appreciate your feedback and support!

Welcome! It's handy to turn it off yourself if you make any significant changes because then you don't have to wait the 7 days and forget that too. Like I do all the time... lol

Hi and welcome! I nominated Starspun, and Cloudjumper and Outerstar were already nominated. Takeaway was delightful. I loved the story and the background is nice. But I think the profile needs something. Maybe an artistic frame around the story? I'm not sure. Something to set that part off and pull it forward.

It looks much better. :) Is there a way to adjust the height of the boxes at the top by a few pixels so that the headers don't touch the frames at the bottom? Idk how - I've run across this before - but if there is a way to adjust it so that the friends section header shows up like the others I think it would look great too.

It is a pre-made profile that has tricky coding to start with. I've reached out to the creator who has not been online for a bit it appears. The moving of the tab headers is my biggest dislike of this particular profile.

Oh, I understand! Like I said I have had the same problem and never understood why some header text shows up and why it doesn't, or how and why it moves. But maybe just a bit smaller text would do it.
