Hey I'm back again, with more pets. Wyatt and Maxwell. I'd love feedback on them. I know their stories are long, especially Max's. I had to link offsite to fit the whole story, something I'm not certain is allowed. Also I'm wondering if perhaps I should make Sini as a pet friend to Max, since his minion represents his (eventual) wife Malie. For Wyatt, I'm a little concerned about the weird artifacts by his overlay. I can't figure out for the life of me what's causing them!

Damnit I lost my first post somehow. Trying again...
Idk about most of your questions. They look fine to me. The colored backgrounds are okay (Love the purple!) and they work, but I'm a fan of some kind of images to add interest. But you could definitely link the stories between pets. I couldn't read them with my headache, sorry. But someone nominated both pets so they must have liked them and saw nothing wrong. On the weird artifacts, the image is repeating. You have to make the space a little smaller, add a white thick border around the image itself, or make it not repeat. Whatever works. :)
I know how it feels to lose a pet... its happened so many times through the years. You have my sympathy.
I love Garlic. Both your cat and the root vegetable. We believe garlic is its own food group. lol The profile is quite nice. I like the kitty clouds and the matching blue on the info. I really love how you broke the story up by inserting pics. I love to see pics! Someone already nominated him so you are set for Spotlight.
Maxwell is not yet nominated, according to the spotlight page. Wyatt is, though. If I make a change to his profile to get rid of the repeating pet image, will it kick him out of the nominated queue?

Love Wyatt's overlay and minion–colors all tie in well together! On Max's page, the fifth paragraph of the oath section, it seems you missed a break in this part: "... as I am able to do so;That my..." Otherwise, everything else looks good to me! I like that the offsite google docs have a color background too. Very neat tie-in!

Hi everyone! I am looking for help with my pet Draugen to get nominated for pet spot light. Draugen
The story i got help with and think it's ok, but more input is helpfull. And i don't have a nice profile.. graphics, etc. Do you think i need one? And if so who can i contact for a nice one?
I do think you should have more than the default layout. If you check the profiles and graphics market forum, you can commission someone, or there are freebies in the freebies thread. I personally adore Lea's free profiles, so you should definitely check them out!
As for the text, you've got a few errors. There's some missing line breaks in the Prayer section. In the credits section you spelled minion with an extra N in the middle. There's a stray ? at the end of the poem. And lastly in your first line you have a stray quotation mark (or a stray space and a missing quotation mark).
In regards to the story itself...Iunno, it is a bit sparse. I don't have enough experience with the spotlight to know for sure, but it feels light to me. Maybe once you have a nice profile it'll feel better? I don't know.
Still, it's a lovely idea. I've been watching a friend play Skyrim and there's tons of draugr to fight in the game. It's interesting to see some of the lore behind them!

Draugr comes from a Norway ghost tale. Thanks for the advice. I fixed the 'mistakes". They ? is suppose to be there at the poem.

Sparse means light on text, yes. In the end it's up to you. With some nice formatting it may be plenty -- as I said, I'm no expert. I can't advise on who to commission as all my profile templates are the free-to-use ones.

Draugr,
The old Norse definition of a "draugr" is "a ghost, spirit, dead inhabitant of a cairn".
Often the draugr is regarded not so much as a ghost, but as an animated corpse of the decease inside the burial mound.
Characteristics:
- Has superhuman strength.
- Can increase his size and weight at will.
- Their bodies are said to be blackened and swollen with decay.
- They smell horrible.
Need to kill a Draugr? First, it is not easy!
Iron weapons can injur them, but will not kill them.
To do that you must decapitate them.
Once it is decapitated, you must burn the body and scatter its ashes in the sea.
Only then will it stop haunting you.
Draugr are noted for having numerous magical abilities. they can Shape-shift, control the weather, and see into the future.
A poem:

Mare (Minion),
Old Norse legendsays that a Mare would slither into ones bedroom when they are asleep.The mare would then paralyze their victim, usually starting at the feet and slowly moving towards the chest.
When it reached the chest, the mare would cause the sleeper to have nightmares.
Sometimes the sleeper would feel as if they were suffocating and some suffocating deaths were attributed to Mares.
Mares were also known as mara.

Not a problem! I'm glad it works. And yes, it looks quite nice. You might want to consider picking a color or image you like for the background, just so it isn't the default color. I can help with that too once you decide what you want. There are a couple options -- you can do a solid color, or a gradient, or an image that tiles, or a single large image.
pixabay and Wallpapers.com are two good sites for free-to-use images. Just make sure you credit the source of the image if you use one!
