He will open my clothes cabinets to sleep in there or hide, but not my kitchen cabinets thankfully. He never goes on the kitchen countertops.. other than the kitchen island I built. :)

well it's not really looking positive. They basically told me that there's little they can do as the tracking doesn't cover international but it looks like it was lost in FL. So she told me I can contact the dead letter office and see if they can attempt to recover the contents and I can take the receipt to the post office to get the postage back but no insurance on it means everythign I put in there will be lost and no money to cover it. I'll do both but one won't be until I go to the post office with my niece's gift. When i get the refund, I'll poke you for your pay pal account and send you something that way. this sucks and I'm so sorry :(

I am very sorry you went to all this trouble, only for the parcel to get lost. :( Second time this happened to me, one Paddy sent me got lost too. Very frustrating when it happens. Hope the dead letter office can help! hugs

hehe my limit at RL pets is one at a time (although admittedly two would be nice :P) .... but that didn't count all my pets on here, just the ones that still need work doing on something 😇

Sparky's got surprisingly good timing on several things like that ;) earlier, Mum and Dad were out and I heard Dad's key in the front door (it's got a particular rattle when he unlocks the door, as he usually puts the wrong key in first :P).... except Dad wasn't back - it was Sparky mimicking the noise (which he only does if both Mum and Dad are out!)

He would actually push out the clothes that we in there out on the floor, so I cleared a space for him and put a blanket there for him to sleep on if he wants. :)

He must really have a nack for learning your different habits and the sounds you make! :) I never really knew budgies could do all of this, since ours never really spoke other then budgie noises. lol

IT totally sucks. I'm going to hope that it's just significantly delayed but I feel it's a small hope at this point.

I never knew budgies could pick up timings like that - Sid would copy sounds as they were happening (like the noise of sausages frying), but he didn't seem to work out what comes next in the way that Sparky does ;) I seriously thing Sparky is more parrot than budgie (especially when I whistle and Sparky does exactly the same whistle back - that carries on for a couple of minutes sometimes!)! :P

well at least I've got quite a handful of finished pets on here, so other than new items for their treasures occasionally, they're quite happy (and quiet!) :P
