There's not anything that can help with Sparky's feather problem unfortunately, but he definitely perks up once he's moulted any of those 'nasty' feathers ;) Aww I hope Pusur doesn't need more teeth taken out - is he good at letting you look at his teeth, or does he really hate that?

That is good that he will loose the feathers after a while that is causing problems. :) I can look at Pusurs teeth a little, he will allow that. But I can't really tell by looking at them if there is an issue or not. Obviously I dont want him to be in pain, so my vet does a check up once a year. :)

according to one thing I read, those feathers should eventually stop growing back at all, but at the moment once he's moulted them, they do still grow back as 'problem' feathers. That's definitely the best option, although I can imagine it could get quite pricey with those check ups!

Fair enough. lol What have you been upto today? I just got home after seeing my brothers new place. Was really idyllic lucky them. :)

Hopefully they will stop growing back sooner rather than later. It is not like you want to be plucking feathers of your budgie either. :P

:nods: It is very expensive for both the check up and even more costly if he has to have any teeth taken out. Already have spent a small fortune on him from vet bills. lol He is all worth it though. :) Last time I paid around 530 gbp for teeth removal. That did not include the initital check up and teeth cleaning, which also was expensive! Have had to have that done two times so far... So yeah. It adds up.

It was really nice! Close to the water, and surounded by forest and mountain terrain. They even got their own little pier (I guess you would call it?) and a small boat. :)
