That sounds very much like cats and card board boxes. :P Sparky sounds adorable. :)
Trust me, I healthier for it. :) Still got some weight to loose, but I am happy with my progress. Lost about 56lbs (if my google convertion is correct) from what I was at my heaviest.

hehe Jhal might've broken it on purpose thats excellent congrats!
Thankies. :D I hope I can keep this up. :)

he definitely has a lot of character! I think if he didn't have the feather problem around his eye, then he would've learnt a lot more words and phrases (when those feathers are a problem, he sits and sulks for quite a while)
I take it he likes "eau de hot sweaty ballroom" then? 😇

<3 I wish you all the best :) haha or just to annoy people with and leaves :P haha yeah I wouldn't eat that either :P
Does the feathers bother his eyes? That is one of the thing you have to love about having pets, getting to know their personalities and quirks. :)
Thanks dear. Appreciate it. ❤

that could be more likely :P
And all the food that actually sounds edible, he hates! ;)
nods his feather condition means that the feathers surrounding one eye grow differently - there's multiple feathers growing from one shaft. When he moults those 'nasty' feathers, sometimes you hear a ping as they hit the side of the cage! It affects birds in different places, so it could be on their chest or on their wings for instance. If those feathers were where he could reach with his beak, he'd be plucking them out so in a way it's better that it's around his eye as then he can't do that ;) I wasn't impressed with the breeder who we got Sparky from, as there was no mention of this feather problem at the time (and his feathers looked 'wrong' when we got him home so the breeder must have known). It wouldn't have stopped me wanting him, but it would've been helpful to at least know what the problem was, and if there was anything we could do to help him!

<3 any weekend plans?
haha sounds like a real pet to me :D
My mum and I were suppose to see my brothers new cabin this weekend, but not sure if it will happened since we have not heard anything from him about it yet. He is the worst when it comes to answering texts etc. lol You?
I have never heard of this before for birds, I can see how that would bother him! No good that the breeder did not tell you, that is something you should know when you buy/adopt a new pet.

I guess real pets would probably try nibbling a Potato-Powered Light Bulb too :P
How're you doing on buying everything you need from the masq shops?
to be honest, I'd never heard of it before a vet friend looked it up in her book and suggested that's what Sparky's feather problem was - thankfully that vet friend doesn't mind occasional peculiar questions emailed to her (I'd sent a photo of some poop Mum found in the garden, to see if she could identify what animal it came from .... turned out to be a badger :P) ;) That feather problem isn't in any of our old budgie books at all o.O

yep lol. pretty much. Oh I bought everything day one :D you?
I've got everything, plus a surplus of trinkets ready for next year laughs I sent a few bags of trinkets I'd got from mystery dances, to seeing as she can't get online much at the moment ;)

I like to try and make sure I've got quite a lot of trinkets on hand (so there's less pressure for the next masq to have to be dancing), but I didn't need to use all of those myself and I couldn't be bothered to sell them laughs ;)

i'm greedy lol i sold mine after leaving some for next year
laughs I really should get on and start RSing again - my shop's been lacking decent stock for a while :P

He did eventually get back to my mum yesterday, so we are going tomorrow. Should be nice. It is not too far from here either.
Must come in handy to know a vet . :) Did she know if there is anything that can be done with Sparkys feather problem? :) I have to take Pusur to a checkup soon. He has a condition that affects his teeth. I just hope he doesn't have more extracted.
