ooo that's a striking HA today :)
The only advantage of the plain coat was that it didn't show if I cut the pieces upside-down on the fabric, whereas the flowers on this one would be pretty odd if they were up the other way :P
maybe he thinks you're less likely to move if he waits for you to sleep? Thankfully none of my budgies have ever (intentionally - two got out of the cage accidentally) been out of their cage, so they didn't have the opportunity to preen our hair!

That could be it. :) He especially likes to lick me on the lips, which I am not too thrilled about. lol I always just let them do it. lol But I can totally understand that not all people like it. :)
Just got home from my mum here and got Pusur on my lap right away. lol

Love the lil brat, even if he sneezed in my face while I was trying to sleep last night. lol Got all of my face. yuck. lol He stopped sneezing now though, so he seems okay. :)

;) I've got the next bit of fabric heading this way (that's going to be a frog, which will be a friend's Christmas present :P) - I'm thinking of just using the fur in the opposite direction for the frog's tummy, seeing as that's meant to be a contrast colour and I've only got green!
You know I said about the acrylic paints I gave Mum a while ago? Well I won a 'seascape' painting book (I need to write a review on it, as part of the prize), so I told Mum I'd need to get some paints to try it out.... she offered me the use of hers to test out one picture before I bought my own :D
o.O I definitely wouldn't be comfortable with that!! I don't like it when there's anything near me that I can't see (that's why I don't like moths, or even birds flying around my head), so having a budgie preening my hair would be a nightmare for me! 😊 :P How's your sewing projects going?

I end up covering my mouth with my hands since I dont need those. lol
That is fair. :) You kinda don't have control over something that is flying around you.
No sewing projects here, the sweater I am knitting is taking a while since I have to start over so many times. I keep getting the wrong size/tension. I swear this project is cursed! How about your projects?

Carmen did that the other day. Ugh so gross.
that sounds fun XD oh thats good. hopefully you'll enjoy it.
I don't blame you! I think it probably came from having glasses that weren't strong enough when I was a child (they always under prescribed my glasses, then actually told me that was as good as my eyesight would be o.O), so when things came towards me, they'd go out of focus at a certain point so I'd lose track of it!
Of course the sewing question was meant to be in Raven's bit, and I meant to write "any knitting projects" for you! I guess my brain is more asleep than awake today :P That sweater sounds like it'd be awesome once it's finished, but the tension is a complete nightmare!
I finished Mum's coat last week, and apart from a few mending projects and taking up a nightie or two for Mum, my next project is sewing a toy frog (random, I know :P)
it's going to be an experience sewing that frog, as I've never used that kind of fabric before ;) But at least I won't have the hassle of pre-washing the fabric, as a toy frog shouldn't need machine washing :P
I doubt I'll get my painting looking anywhere near as good as the one in the book, but it should be fun giving it a go :D

hopefully a good experience XD. lol probably not XD <3 I love painting
and it's not like it's being made for a really young child or anything ;)
I haven't done painting for years - the last ones I did were watercolour landscapes & a couple of acrylic painting by numbers :P

lol you mean you don't plan on telling her to not suck on it or anything? :P they are fun
laughs I was thinking more along the lines of her not being likely to feed it chocolate ice cream :P

that's one reason why K's dragon was made from fleece - it'd at least be possible to clean off anything like that, even if it wouldn't really be suitable to shove in the washing machine :P

That did not sound fun at all having to deal with that. I can totally see why you have trouble with things like that. I probably should have gotten glasses a lot earlier than I did, since I always had to sit on the front row in the class room in order to be able to read the board!
I am so over the sweater already, I just feel like it is one big fail. But I really want to get it done. :) Good going on the mending project and taking up the nighties. :D Toy from for K then? :)
Really is lovely, isn't it? lol The fun with pets sometimes.

I never did get as far as testing out one of my handmade bears in the washing machine, so I just have to say they're surface washable only :P
In senior school (aged 11-18) I sat at the front of the class and couldn't read what the teacher had written in orange on the overhead projector sheets - she tried telling me I had to go to the optician (literally I was wearing the new glasses I'd got 2 weeks beforehand), but I eventually managed to convince her that it was the orange pen she was using that was causing the problem.... there wasn't enough contrast between the white background and the orange for it to be readable for me! (although if I had glasses that were actually my correct prescription, I think I could've read that a bit clearer)
I can't blame you on that - I've got several UFOs that are just abandoned projects that just seemed to keep going wrong every single time I worked on them 😊 Nah, I haven't got a clue what to make for K for Christmas :P The frog is for a friend who's been obsessed with frogs ever since they had frogspawn in their garden pond when she was a child ;)

It can be very frustrating when people wont listen, at least she came around eventually. :) My hearing was already bad back then, so I had to sit in the front of the class to hear everything as well either way. Even with glasses I am very near sighted, due to a conditon I have.
Sounds like I am not the only one with cursed projects. :P Where is Hermoine when we need her? Aww, that is sweet! I am sure she will love it. :)
I have been busy cleaning today and stuff, since I found ants in my kitchen, really gross! I hope the trap I set out for them and the cleaning will keep them away now.
