I found if you go for "boxy" shaped, then at least it shouldn't be too snug.... then you can take in the sides a little if you want it more fitted.... my trouble is my shoulders are quite broad, so most of the 'standard' fit t-shirts are too tight there, then the wrong fit everywhere else too :P

Now that's a nice temperature :D I've not been able to get to the allotment for a couple of months - I've left dad in charge ;) He keeps bringing back punnets of strawberries which is always a good sign :D :D

nods and a lot of learning to figure out the "proper" way of adjusting a pattern to accommodate my shape :P ....although you can do a cheat's way, of just using a different pattern size for the shoulders, then grading to whatever size at the bust - but that isn't always as reliable as doing it properly ;)

nods although the disadvantage is that if the fabric is slightly different (more clingy, or more stretchy) than what I'd used before, that changes the whole fit of the thing as well.... I've got three t-shirts made from exactly the same pattern, but each one is slightly different in the fit o.O ....that's one reason why really I prefer sewing with wovens or sweatshirt fabric (as that tends to be equally stretchy), rather than jersey :P
