It is a cool clock. I have an idea for you: What if you changed the lightbulb inside it to incandescent or a lower wattage one? If it is a light bulb in there then it is most likely LED, which are super bright! You can buy lower wattage light bulbs that are as low as 7 watts (for night light purposes). Not sure if it would work though...

I got the jacket almost finished, although there's a few places where the fabric caught up - most I can get away without redoing, but I've redone the worst one three times, and it's still caught up :K I might have to unpick it and just topstitch it down if I can't get it to go right from inside....

It's been a freaking LONG day. I went grocery shopping at two stores, cleaned two fish tanks, put groceries away, went to petco, made a little zipper bag... -snores-

(Paddy knows but I hadn't had a chance to tell Lene or Abmi) Lavender, my betta, passed away overnight. I believe it was old age. I bought a male today so the snail has company and food. I've named him Lotus as his fins flare out like a flower petal.

Lene: It really is good. Love the graphics. The music is not obnoxious, game play is fairly good too. Its a lot to take in at once but I'm getting the hang of it :D Hope it really does help :)

I thought we were going to get torrential rain (it's the Glastonbury festival, and usually it's really heavy rain & mud everywhere for that :P), but for once the weather decided it was going to be really hot & sunny for a couple of days ;) It's a bit better so far today though, there's quite a bit of cloud about, so there's not the intense heat from the sun ;)

Yeah, I'll take a photo of it later so you can see it - I think it's a combination of slightly slippery fabric, and not being able to pin it (I couldn't get a pin through two layers of the fabric - it just wouldn't go through!), or hand baste it first!

I love the new outfit today, what background(s) have you used to get that magical swirly cloud type look?

I hope you can change the lights and maybe it'll work. I found a whole bunch of low wattage night lights on amazon, if you cannot find them at walmart or someplace that sells light bulbs.

Other than sorting out a mistake in my sewing when I stitched the hood in place, my new raincoat is 99% finished (just that mistake to resolve, and some topstitching to do): (not the world's best photo, as it's hanging on the wardrobe door on my 'to do' pile at the moment)
