didn't get as far as that yesterday, I spent all day clearing up where I'd knocked a cactus off the windowsill the previous night.... of course the soil was dry, so it went everywhere (all over the carpet, in the bags of fabric on the floor....).... most of the fabric is washed now, but I've still got the minky & fake fur bits left, as they need washing by hand (otherwise the fluff will just gum up the washing machine).

oddly enough, not one bit broke off the cactus - not even the flower! I hand washed all the minky & fake fur this afternoon (I tipped the entire bag into the bath to wash it :P), so that's finally all on the line to dry.... absolutely zonked now though!

nods she's not keen on the cold, but apparently with that sweater and "warming" drink (goodness only knows what she put into it :P) she was perfectly warm ;)

not much. Went to a shop but forgot today is its closed day, so just kinda being bored. You've had lots of great time with your mum lately :)

I love the sewing look today :D nods in the end I just didn't want the hassle of having to deal with anyone (I'd rather let someone else deal with that bit laughs), unless it's giving them to a neighbour ;) hehe I can't have two were-creature characters! :P :P

there's at least one - I entered a competition a few years ago where the winner was the one who had the most UFOs (you had to enter a photo of each one as proof), and I came second :P I came across a few UFOs in my mending pile that I'd forgotten all about.... like a long sleeve t-shirt where I didn't sew the seams accurately, so there's a few holes - I might get that one done today (once I've got my skirt and shorts finished), seeing as the sewing machine is set up for stretchy fabric. It won't be the right time of year to wear the t-shirt (it's quite a thick fabric), but at least it'll be ready for late autumn laughs

hehe that's very true.... I think I had 70 at that point hides but the winner had 78 or 80 I think o.O I will admit I have no way near that many UFOs now, as I finished a lot, and scrapped some that were never going to get finished ;)

:D It's way too warm here at the moment for a long sleeve t-shirt (even my zebra t-shirt is too thick), but I did also finish my skirt to go with the top half of a romper (I got the sizing wrong, so that had to be separates) :D I just need to add a waistband to the shorts, then I have a fake romper too laughs

Might as well use the fabric or yarn for something else then if you dont feel like you are gonna ever finish it up. :) I find it so overwhelming to pick crochet or knit projects.. so much to pick from. I bet its the same with sewing? :)

Hehe.. it is a bit warmer today, but its been a very cold summer. I dont mind that tho. :) Another productive day for Paddy. :D Fake romper sounds comfy to wear too. :)

nods I made a list of my sewing UFOs and just stuck a pin in the list to pick something to work on laughs I bought some stretchy fabric, but I can't decide what to make from it, so for the moment it's sat in my fabric box until I get some inspiration ;) The last few t-shirts I've tried making have been wearable, but not quite the 'ideal' fit I was after :P

We've had it quite warm so far, but at least it's not been wet (although that means more plant watering for the allotment :P) ;) I prefer it when it's a bit cooler though, so I don't feel like I'm melting ;)
