Maybe try doing two rows a day for the mittens? That might help to break it up a little, so it's not all that much concentration in one go? ;)

I think that is the way to go. :) My friend asked me to make them for her, so I am gonna have her try on the first one to see if they actually will fit. They turned out a bit smaller than I would have liked- so I might have to alter the decreasing at the end. She lives in Oslo tho- so trying them on will have to wait a bit. :) Funny thing is that I want a pair for myself too. lol They are supercute!

that's be awesome if they fit her, but that does make it a bit more complicated to get her to try them on if she lives that far away!! ;) It always seems to be the way that the sizing is either too baggy, or too snug when I'd finished knitting or crocheting anything wearable 😊

I can at least make them longer by adding a few rows.. making them wider is a bit more tricky tho :)

Same here.. I prefer things like shawls etc for that reason, since there is not as much pressure on it ending up fititng the person you are making it for. :P

nods making them wider would be almost impossible, depending on where they need the extra width (if it's half way down, that'd be really hard to add in!) ;)

That's why most of my knitted items were toys - there's no worry on having to get an accurate size with them :P

Yeah, its suppose to return. Right now I have a tampon like thingy in my ear- and a bandage over it.. Doesnt help matters. lol And my hearing on the ear they didnt operate on is very poor. :P

You are gonna love this. lol: I was just talking to a random girl on fb, in a catgroup I am in. She posted about her cat Link- that has a green collar. I asked if she is a zelda fan. She was like: Oh my, yes! She told me she even taught her cat to come when she whistles Eponas Song. rofl Now that is pet goals right there. :P

I would def. not be brave enough for that! If it doesnt fit her. I think I am gonna keep this pair myself- I think I might have smaller hands. and see if I can get another pair bigger with larger needles- different yarn or something! Then again, you woudnt want them to be too big either.
