thanks :D Niamh was saying it was a bit overly pink, but if she will insist on colour co-ordinating with the background :P ooo is that dragon part of the show for today's HA, or should we be worried that he looks like he'll be eaten? ;)

it was overly pink :P but it was cute. I see she's now coordinating with purples :D New pets?
THank you. I've wanted that dragon for years and found one for 10mil so I splurged. I was thinking the later lmao
I got the hair from the free shop this morning, so Niamh insisted on being purple today, she borrowed the foxes from the Care of Magical Creatures professor.... at least that's what she claimed - I have a feeling that she'll want them as pets for herself though ;)
😮 That's a super price!! :D

LUCKY! I've not gotten anything over 300k :/ and most in the 50k range. i have the worst luck with randomness lol. hehe keep them :D Yes I was pleased!
most of what I've got so far has been much cheaper than that one - I had to look three times at it before I actually believed I'd got it from the free shop 😊

did you get any better luck with free shop items before it ran out of stock?
I like Niall's look today, is that a plush horse under his arm, or another one of his pets? ;)

Sorry for late reply. :) I spent yesterday at mums place, as I had an early do appointment and was worried about oversleeping as my hearing is so bad now after surgery.. Thankfully the appointment went really well, everything looked good. :) and I can start living life a bit more normally. I can bend down to the floor, do some light lifting and even wash my hair. lol Running, heavy lifting etc will have to wait. :P And I no longer have the annoying bandage thingy stuck in my ear. Yay.:) :keep reading:
Paddy: I took note of that book, thankies! :D I have Kobo so can easily check it out. :D I tend to prefer paper books or audio tho (for when I am out and about). :)
Raven: Glad things perked up. :squishes: It has so for me too as you can see. lol

not really. You?
thank you :D lol probably his mini horse :P
no worries :) Sounds like a good report. Hows the hearing going?
Expo is tomorrow and Saturday
I can't blame you on wanting to stay over at your Mum's so you didn't oversleep! That's great that you can start getting back to normal now :D :D :D I never thought I would go for ebooks, but I found they're quite nice to read while I'm eating lunch laughs and you don't have to try holding the book open at the same time ;)
nothing as good as that wig, but it was fun to lurk the free shop in the hope of some more decent items ;) laughs I still don't know how you keep up with all his pets :P I love the bunny look today :D :D

Hearing is not great still, hoping that will improve tho as it heals. :fingers crossed: Hope you gals have a great time at the expo! :D i am gonna clean today.. so much fun. lol
Being mostly back to normal has certainly improved my moods. :)
Plus, they are great for travelling since you can fit a ton of books on your tablet, phone or whatever you like to read on. :)

I can imagine! And that's very true - I know when we went on holiday, we always seemed to have a bag full of books to take with us, so ebooks would have come in really handy ;) I did try reading them on my old phone before, but I found the smaller screen was a bit too irritating (I had to turn the pages too often :P)

i have a list :P thanks love the sunflower look :D read on
hope it does get better! oh fun!
So just got home and finished dinner from the expo. I'm so worn out and in pain but I had a great time and am looking forward to tomorrow. I'll explain more when I'm not a zombie
even so, it must be a heck of a long list to keep up with his new pets ;) :P Thanks :D I got the sweater yesterday so I had to let Niamh try it out ;) ooo I like the expo shopping HA - hopefully the first day was a success :D :D

Happy to hear you had such a great time, looking forward to hearing more. :D The classes all sounded so fun. :D
Hehe.. last time I was in Greece I read 5 books. :P I tend to only bring pocket books tho, as at least they are lighter. :P
Agreed, phone screens are just too small. :P But it works in a pinch at least. :) I love having audiobooks on my phone tho, great for when I am on the bus etc. :D

laughs we were on holiday when the 5th Harry Potter book came out.... I wondered what the fuss was, so I managed to find a box set of the first four books, then went back the following week to buy the 5th one ;)
I've never tried audiobooks, but I know some people listen to them while they're knitting, just to break the monotony of knitting lots of rows. I don't think I could concentrate on the book and the knitting though :P

I did enjoy the expo for the most part. But unfortunately, it ended with me very stressed, freaked and worried. Mum was getting progressively worse all day. I was keeping close tabs on her until my last two classes. She apparently had a kind lady helping her but i don't know exactly what she did. Anyway, I suggested we just leave, but she wanted to shop so I helped get her through and even that was hard. She was falling asleep easily, forgetting what happened.... having problems walking. It happened yesterday but we all thought she was just exhausted. but as we headed to the car it was like going from 40% to 0. She was barely moving, so much pain and just way off. There was no way this was just exhaustion in my mind. We drove home (at her request) but she couldn't even get out of the car, she fell back into it--even with the walker adding her. Dad took her to the er. Her potassium was above leathal levels. She's getting admitted soon and already under treatment. We know her kidney meds do spike levels so now will have to talk to her doctor about how to catch this! I'm very upset and freaked-- also in a lot of pain for doing more to help her and natural pains that I always have. But now stressed, scared and everything else... so yeah.... anyway.... I'll do a class update later. Not in the mood to be honest to even talk.
I'm pleased the classes went well, but I hope your Mum recovers quickly - that must've been really scary for all of you squishes

thanks. I hope too. It was scary They got it down but it went back up over night. THey are testing it every hour and took her off the three meds that can spike the potassium. It's doubtful she will go back on them
that's good that they've taken her off the ones that can cause that to spike - hopefully there's a suitable alternative that won't have that effect again!
