Officially they're stars, but originally I was aiming for snowflakes (there is a snowflake option, but that was a bit too intricate to show up on that kind of fabric).... they could have done with being a bit bigger, but that's the size my machine says they have to be ;) (the decorative stitches was one of the main reasons I chose that particular machine :D)

And that's a perfect tartan look today as well! Is the coat a separate item to the hood?

Yup, I had that probem for years now. Some days they are fine, other days they hurt pretty bad. I dont think it helps that its getting colder. Oh well. :P

Thanks! :D Yes, the coat is one of my releases and the hood is released by riptide. :) I got them to match. I have a few plaids that match some of those hoods.

That's very true - and I can stitch over some of the seams (like the ear seams) a couple of extra times, to make them stronger (Mum picks bears up by their ears quite often) ;)

the angle of the photo probably didn't help either (I was struggling to not get the shadow of the camera phone in the pic :P). It's tempting to add pockets into any bought hoodies that don't have them 😇 I might just add in some inseam pockets if I try that, rather than fussing around getting a kangaroo pocket to look right as I'd never be likely to find the right fabric (and the right colour) to match a shop bought hoodie!

I just cleaned out the 20 with a partial water change. Then caught all the von rios in the hospital tank and am now floating them in a bag to get used to the temperature change.

Also finished the surprise journal cover i had to make and a mini shopping tote for small shopping trips. I'm tired. and my foot hurts. I have a large blister from where I was splashed with boiling hot water from the kettle.

Sounds like you are super busy per usual. :) I have some cleaning and stuff to do today.. tomorrow its time for my uncles surprise party. He just turned 60. Should be nice. :) Bought a vine cooer and a cider. xD

yeah I normally wouldn't sew toys for children under the age of 3 just to be on the safe side! I'd stick with a basic knitted bear for a really young child, as there's no risk of anything coming off (the pattern I used meant everything was knitted in so the only sewn part was the final seam once it was stuffed :P) ;) I did send a bear to America for a Neo friend's baby a year or two ago, but I added in a note to say it was more of a 'sit and look at this until you're three years old' kind of gift 😇

With the bear I sent to K for his starting school gift, I hand stitched the ears on (as originally I wasn't making it to be for him), but I added some extra stitches before I posted it off.... he seemed to prefer picking the bear up by its muzzle though :P

it's not too bad for one but more just takes a lot of time and energy. thanks I hope so too. I have a migraine today as well.

it was always bad enough just needing to catch one or two small fish in a fish bowl and clean that out, let alone a large tank :P Aww that stinks on the migraine - hopefully that's eased off by now though squishes

OH, what an idea!! I had never thought of that: adding pockets to a store bought hoodie or sweatshirt that do not have any. I am going to be embroidering on a sweatshirt next so I should just add pockets internally as well. :D That could be fun! I will see how I can fit it into the design. Good idea!

-nods- Yea, I've been releasing a lot more items than I used to. I used to release only one a month but now I just do as many as I want/can. :P The things released through Xanadu Galleria are drawn by other artists for the most part, and the things released through my RAE group are all drawn by me. (If you want a list I have a thread where I keep track of it all I can link you to.) I'll be doing a lot of retirements after Black Friday though, so be sure to look for my ping. I have to do all that work of compiling the master list of all things to be retired. :P I have waaaay too many old items I want to clear from the shop list.

ah but i don't catch them when I clean, except for moving those ones into the tank. :D However, draining 25% of the water and putting new de-chlorinated water in is a workout. finally :) ooh they are beautiful!

sits and admires the amazingly rifty outfit you've got today :D I reckon it should be possible to add them to the seams, like you'd have pockets in a dress or skirt - just as long as you can sew over the ends of the opening just to stop the seams from unravelling! ;) What embroidery design is going to be on the sweatshirt? :D

ooo I'll definitely keep an eye out for the retirement ping - I've only ever retired one of my releases, but I haven't released anywhere near as many as you have :P

Yeah. We love him, even though we call him demon-damon and that we've released the 'kraken'. XD Also he gets into a crack-head mode and runs around like he has duracell batteries shoved up his bum. Then he wants to play,play,play,play...until he falls over and naps. It is cute, if exhausting. He will often wake me up to play because Dean is on game and he knows I will. ....I admit to giving in to his terrible manners. He's so adorable.
