Shame they turned out too snug- is there any way you would be able to add more fabric- like on the side to make them better? Or if its a bit snug around your legs that might not be too easy to fix I guess.

oddly enough, having worn them all day, they actually feel quite comfy now! I think it's got a lot to do with the design - the waistband is fabric rather than elastic, so it feels a lot tighter as you try to wriggle into them ;)

I'll see how these wash before I make another pair, as I don't want to risk them shrinking (I hadn't prewashed the fabric).... but I do have some offcuts in the same type of fabric (just with a different design on), that I'd cut out previously but not got as far as sewing ;) I've got a pattern for socks as well, so I could try making those from the same type of fabric (although that needs a slightly larger offcut, as there's only one seam on the socks)

How's the knitting & crochet going, or is that still on hold until the weather gets cooler? ;)

that's the wall organiser I did a few days ago for my sewing area. The boat is a pocket :D it took ages but I think it's my best one yet.

And this is what I've been making today. It's for my cult. We were suppose to make something to support our international quidditch team. My character is rooting for Russia so she "made" a bear with a Russian flag scarf.

thank you :D I got the shell fabric as a gift for my birthday (3 yards) and had to use a tiny peace. Then got the idea to do a water, land and lighthouse "Scene". Sewing the rope in was interesting lol it kept trying to escape. XD glad you like the idea, i was giddy about it myself.
