I am heading out for a walk later. :) That is about it. lol
The can should say if its okay to use on fabrics as well. :) But yup, its always good to test it on an area that doesnt show as much. I used a spray on a pair of shoes.. and they changed colours a bit. :K

yeah, it says on the shoe spray I've got that it can change the colour of the shoe, but the ones I wore out in the rain last week have faded anyway (the colour literally ran out of them), so they don't look anywhere near what they should look like). I thought if it makes them a little darker, then that won't be too terrible ;)

thanks. lol it's weird seeing Niamh without glasses but she looks cool in the pool :D good luck in choosing :D
have a nice walk :D
hehe well I said she couldn't wear her glasses in the pool, and I couldn't find any swimming goggles that covered her eyes :P I figured I'd work on another pet, then I might get some more inspiration for Sada - I usually get inspiration when I'm working on something different ;)

yeah a good idea. But shame the goggles didn't work out. that sounds like how it happens to me lol.
yeah, I was surprised how little there seemed to be in swimming goggles.... unless of course there's some out there and I just don't have them in my wardrobe :P goes to look at SubetaLodge hehe it happens with sewing project inspiration too, I get part way through one thing, then suddenly get an idea of how to work around something else I'd abandoned (or an idea of what to do with some different fabric) 😊 :P
(see my next post under Lene's for a pic of the jacket I started today, seeing as I'm not too sure how to alter my jeans pattern to make it fit better - at the moment there's a lot of fabric bunched up under my backside and behind my knee, but Mum doesn't believe they're too big at the back :P)

Might as well use the spray then. :) With fall coming around, I know I can expect lots of rain and wind. :P
Thanks, besides for my ankles hurting a bit, it was. lol

yeah, most seasons are rainy here laughs but autumn and winter can be very wet & windy ;)
I was supposed to be working on a pair of jeans today, but I can't figure out how to alter them to make them fit better (need to get Mum to take a photo of the back legs for me, so I can see where the problem lies) ;) so instead of doing that, I started making a lightweight denim jacket:
^ that's the front so far - I need to get the cuffs finished, then I can add in the front button panels :D It's got four pockets (odd, but it means I can carry more stuff without needing a bag :P), and the flower pattern is a foil effect, so it catches the light :D Eventually I expect the foil will wear off, but hopefully I can get a nice lot of wear from it before then laughs

Ditto that. Windy and rainy is the norm here a lot of the time. :P
Ohh, the denim fabric looks really cute! :D Hope you can get both the jeans and the jacket to fit the way you want them. : )

:P
Thanks :D I couldn't resist getting it when I saw it advertised online ;) The jacket will be easier to fit, as I've made two before from the same pattern.... I might still take in the back a little, but I can do that after I've finished the rest of it ;) The jeans will be more challenging, but once I've got my rough version done, then the 'real' pair should be a lot easier :)

there aren't many honestly. glad you got inspiration! good luck on trying to figure out what's wrong with the jeans. That jacket looks brilliant.
hope the ankle feels better!
Lost internet yesterday with the new service being installed. I had to go to the store for tins of cat food for Nigel and a new cord for my tablet. The prog got bent and looked like it might be totalled but we got it working with the new cord so that'll prolong me having to get a new one.
yeah, I still couldn't find any that actually cover the eyes.... unless they've just called them something different to 'goggles' of course :P gathers up the luck I think I'll need it! Looking at some jeans fitting guides online, it could be that the calf is too snug, so the fabric is bunching up behind the knee.... but looking at the wide leg jeans I made from the same pattern, I think the thigh is a little too big, so maybe they're too big in places and too small elsewhere o.O Thanks :D Hoping to get that finished next week, then I can concentrate on those jeans laughs :D
ooo I love the outfit today :D What's the background(s) you've used with the gull splotch?

Jeans seems really complicated to make, as well as jackets.. I reckon if you can make that there is not much else you cant make. :) :hands you a lot of patience:
@ Raven Thanks, it doesnt hurt all the time, just when I have walked a bit.
Sounds like you have been plenty busy again. :P I have been doing housechores.. and relaxing with telly and such otherwise. lol tomorrow its soccermatch. :)

One of the first items of clothing I made, was a jacket (I made it from a cheap duvet cover, as that worked out cheaper than buying patterned fabric) laughs It wasn't until after I'd made that one, that I heard jackets are meant to be really challenging to sew 😊 :P
This flowery denim jacket has a few mistakes, but hopefully they won't be noticeable against the foiled flowers ;) I just need to get some buttons on Wednesday, then I can finish it off :D

today's ha looks lovely :D oh geez sounds like it'll be "fun" figuring it out. thanks. it's and
hope it feels better soon. yeah. And my tablet couldn't be saved--went yesterday to try a new cable but it didn't work. So wound up getting a new tablet. sounds like a nice weekend.
thanks :D I did wonder how well the waves would work with the sand in the foreground (Niamh was being picky again :P) Yeah, hence why I made that jacket first laughs with a bit of luck I'll be able to get photos of the rough version of the jeans done today, then if Mum & Dad go out tomorrow (it's a bank holiday, so I'm not heading out then as most shops open shorter hours, or are closed) I might be able to work on the rough version and get them sorted so I can then start the decent ones later in the week ;)
I love the musical look today :d I wonder if that's actually a piece of music, or if it's just random notes on there.... ;)
oooo for some reason I thought those whales were a separate item! That worked really well with the crab :D :D

Hehe.. I reckon most start with something simple like a pillow,, but you went all in. I like it. :D
I am sure people that see it wont know unless you point it out. :)
My feet often hurts a bit when I go for walks, so I dont expect it to go away anytime soon sadly. :)
Shame the tablet couldnt be saved. :( Congrats on the new one tho-- what kind did you get? :D Mine is just collecting dust mostly. :P

hehe my excuse was I didn't know that jackets were meant to be that hard laughs but it took me a long time to feel confident enough to try making jeans - they seemed way too scary :P
nods most of the mistakes are in the topstitching, so you'd have to look really closely (as I used a similar thread colour, so it doesn't stand out too much) ;) ... that's one main reason why I decided to not use plain fabric all that much now, as any mistakes show up a lot more!

silly Niamh ooh I see you are all matching today :D It looks brilliant. good luck :D thank you. Well I'm sure it would make some sort of music lol. if it was pretty or flowed I don't know. thanks :) I was happy it turned out well.
glad its not too bad -pets- Samsung galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 release :D
thanks :D I finally got the monthly collection so Niamh insisted on trying out the jacket :D I didn't get as far as trying the rough jeans, so that'll be today's task to try and get the photos done ;) hehe I'll have to try it out and see what kind of sound it makes :P
