Fingers crossed that will work! I find that when its raining cats and dogs- I find that even raincoats will struggle keeping me dry. :P I guess its hard to get a bag 100 percent waterproof with zippers etc? Then again, I have never tried. :P

nods they tend to let water in on the shoulders for some reason - I want to see if I can figure out how to add in an extra layer to the shoulders when I make my next raincoat, just to help stop that from letting the water through quite so quickly! ;) I didn't add zippers to that original bag - I haven't yet figured out how to do that on that particular pattern laughs but it does have a flap over the main opening, which in theory keeps everything dry inside ;)

I do have a spray for waterproofing shoes (need to get on and use that on my trainers!), but I've never come across ones for fabric before - I might see if I can get one and test it on dad's coat, as that has lost its waterproofing since it's been washed.... then if it works, I can try it on mine laughs :D

I'll definitely have a look next time I'm near the camping store - that's where I got the shoe spray from, so they should sell the one for fabric as well :) My next blog project fabric arrived in the post this morning (I wasn't expecting that to arrive until Thursday at the earliest!), so I've had to shelve my current UFOs and get working on a rough version of that project just to check the sizing, seeing as I need to make some adjustments to the pattern to make it fit better (it's high waist jeans, and the first two pairs I made are ok when I'm standing, but when I sit down the waistband rids up and is really uncomfortable :K) - I've tried making the waistband hit about an inch lower, which hopefully will resolve the problem ;)

just need the mood to go and investigate this. giggles sounds like a bg you want to have made :P she looks great.
