thankfully after soaking it for a few hours, then washing it twice, most of the denim stain came out of the bag.... of course the bag was a waterproof fabric, so it was a bit harder than just getting it out of a normal fabric too 😊

And rather than working on the shirt, I made dad a rip-stop bag for the umbrellas (he's been carrying them in a manky old carrier bag which had seen better days), and labelled the inside of the bag so it's clear what it's for, if it's left empty :P That way, if the brollies are wet, we can shove them into the bag when we walk into a shop, and not have to leave them in a pot by the door (and risk someone picking up out brolly by mistake) ;)

and I started making myself a new shopping bag as my old bought one is starting to break up: ....I did actually finish making that one, I just don't have a photo yet :P

Yup, its enough that I got Pusur on me as soon as I sit down on the couch, I dont need to add more wool to the mix. lol Hope your weekend is good so far. :) I spent the day with mum, she needed a new cellphone, so I helped with that. Had lunch and did some shopping. A bit annoyed as I lost a favorite hoodie. :( I think I might have left it on the bus, so I will call later on and see if one was turned in..

I found I really like making bags laughs as long as they're the right size to fit a bottle of water and my phone, you don't need to be too picky about the size being 100% accurate either ;)

yeah, I tried sewing knickers (I thought it'd be a good use of some stretchy offcuts :P), but they're a bit too snug to get on comfortably 😊 But at least they didn't take long to make, and the fabric wasn't really big enough to use for anything else. I might just put them on a hanger and see if I can stretch them a little ;)
