They look really sweet :D If you feel that the googly eyes look too creepy, you could always try stitching the eyes with black thread- like the nose? :) I am sure you will be able to find a good home for them too. :)

Yeah, I did wonder about using a permanent marker over the white edge of the eyes, but I don't want to risk that - the "permanent" marker I have, rubs off when it's used on plastic o.O But stitching around it might work, as if I could get the stitches thick enough, that might cover the edge of the eyes.... notes that down to try :D

I was going to work on the smaller bear today, but my pinking shears need a bit of a clean (and oiling), so I'll have to leave the bear making until Saturday or next week

yeah, now the googly eyes are in, I can't remove them (literally, they are safety eyes, so unless you cut the back post stem thing with some large wire cutters, it isn't going to come out!). I might see if eyelids would work, just to cover the edge on the top a little better - I did them on my vulture, and they seemed to go well (but admittedly that was with fake fur :P)

Ahh, didnt realize they were safety eyes, that changes things. :) Its smart to use those if you plan on gifting them to small children, you dont want them to choke on the bears eyes. o-o

It would be fun to learn how to make them. :)

The concert was good, its a very well known group (at least well known in my country lol)
