yeah, I have a feeling that the city centre will look quite different once things get back to "normal" where places have shut down, or moved their things online instead. It's one of the few times I'm actually relieved that I'm not working, as I don't think I could handle that level of uncertainty!

It's surprising really, as the one thing that we always thought would be good for employment was tourism (although I went into retail instead), and that is one of the areas that's really struggling here as there's no tourists!

hehe I'm sure most of your characters are yelling for some more attention 😇 hehe I bought the rooster earlier laughs I think I got everything my wardrobe needed - or at least everything I was going to buy (there's still things I haven't bought, but I'm not planning on buying them :P) Niamh'll get her chance for outfits in December - assuming there's some Melody's Cottage things that suit her of course ;)

Dad posted your present yesterday - it went airmail this time which is meant to be 5-7 days.... so it should arrive in about 10 days in reality, I think :P It's all individually wrapped inside the outer bag (it's also in a freezer bag just to keep it all together, as there's a couple of really small items in there as well), so you can open that and save opening the actual presents for Christmas Day ;) Just don't open the card until Christmas Day :P

nods normally in the city centre there's a real mix of languages and accents from all the different tourists. In a way it's nice to have the city to ourselves for a bit, but it doesn't half seem odd without them! :P

One of the things in there is edible, so you can open that when it arrives - that's wrapped in bubble wrap around the wrapping paper, just to make sure it doesn't break ;)

Sounds like our city in the summer, when all the cruiseships arrives :) The rest of the year there arent really many tourists. But still people from all over the world, since its Norways oil captitol so to speak. ;)

The only time you might get a few less tourists normally, the city centre feels like it's overrun with students (as the universities have gone back) laughs but we usually have a Christmas Market in the city centre so there'd be lots of tourist coaches arriving for that too.

I have a feeling I wrote something about your presents inside your card, so you'll have to wait until you've opened everything before you can open the card 😇

the CSC ones are cheaper but only by a little (or at least they were when I last checked - if the sp cost of csc cards has gone up, then the next mc one might be about the same price ;))

We do have a university as well, but its not that huge. :) Christmas markets are usually a good time. :D And a great way to get into the christmas spirit. :)

that's definitely not all that small! There's about 19,000 at the big university here, and the other ones doesn't actually say how many they have :P

laughs that's much my thought! It's still possible to get from one end of the city centre to the other on foot without going past the stalls, you just have to do a different route.... I guess most of them that complain really don't want to do a slight detour to avoid the crowds ;)

um grocery getting, getting a few things in the advent calendars, general house work and so on. oh and dentist as my tooth hurts. Aww how come?
