A lot of girls have this idea that their man has to be a certain hight. o_O Which is just silly to me. ;) At least we wont have that problem, towering over them. lol

nods I've never understood that! And yeah, that's definitely not going to be a problem for us! :P

I really am :D ooh nice with the booth and lunch ^.^ It was a long day here lol. kinda boring.
glad your parents did the same <3 I've got an afgan I'm working on. And the monthly knit box and I need to make christmas gifts lol so yeah got somethings in the works. You been doing knitting lately? haha that's cool they liked them and cute idea of matching ones. cool bonfire ha :D
Glad you are enjoying it. :D
Mum helped me get some stuff sorted that is gonna be donated to the salvation army today and stuff. Yay! lol And we made dinner.
If anything I wouldnt want him to be so tall that I couldnt hug or kiss him without a stool. lol

oooo that afghan sounds like it should be a fun make :D But you're sounding almost as busy as I should be laughs although I had to give myself a few days off from crafting as my eczema is playing up.... bleeding hands and crafting really don't go well together :K I've not done any knitting for a while actually - at some point I really should dig out that old knitting project and see if I can actually finish it! 😊
Thanks :D I couldn't resist something bonfirey ;) There's no official firework displays this year because of the virus, but it looks like one of the scout groups have reworked their display so it's still able to happen.... they're calling it Fireworks from your Fence as you're meant to stand in your own garden and watch them - hopefully we'll be able to see them from here ;)
yeah, I'd definitely want to avoid having to do that! :P

I like having the project ideas sent to me and me not having to think of something ROFLMAO. I didn't care for the one scrunchie project but that's more because my hair is so thin that I use little girl hair ties.
ooh sounds like a productive project and yummy dinner XD
I like the looks of the blocks thus far. THough I have swapped out a couple of patterns. Like this one was kind bow-tied with long pieces of the yarn but with cats I thought that spelled trouble LOL.
yeah you don't want to make your hands hurt more or bleed over your projects. -hugs- hope they calm soon.
that sounds nice. Hope you can see it.
yeah, I think I'd avoid that one if I had cats too! :P
nods especially when most of my projects are presents! I'm hopeful that by next week my skin will have calmed down again, and that maybe Mum might keep quiet for long enough that I can get some sewing done ;) Neither looks that promising at the moment though :K I have ordered more elastic for masks (I saw a note on the website saying that it was non-reorderable so I wanted to make sure I had plenty whenever I need to use it!) and also some fabric for Mum & Dad's anniversary presents (if that works, it'll be great, but I'm not too sure how well the patterns will work until I can get them to give me accurate measurements!) 😇
I think they're planning on setting off one single firework at 6:30 tomorrow and another at 6:45, so we get a chance to check we can see them before the display starts at 7pm. Not that I'll be heading out somewhere to watch it if I can't see if from here, but it might give me a chance to get the camera set up at least ;)

Deciding on a project can be the most difficult part. lol I have hundreds of patterns saved on my computer in different ways + loads of books and maagazines. Would take eons to go through everything. lo
:) Any plans for the day? I have housechores, and I plan on doing some knitting while watching telly. ;)

that sounds like fun.... well, after the housechores of course!
I've been cutting out fabric to make some masks for my cousin and his wife - they sent me a message last week to ask if I could make them a few more, as those ones fit better than any they'd bought in shops ;) My only disadvantage is that most of my non-Christmassy fabric is quite girly, so I've had to rummage to find something a bit more masculine (not too sure if my cousin would want to wear a face mask with flowers on for work laughs) :P
I've also got a couple cut out for K so they have two matching family sets of masks ready for Christmas ;)

Always seem to be somewhere in my flat that needs cleaning or tidying up. :P
That is nice of you to make facemasks for them. :D Mine fit well too, and they did just fine being washed at 60c too. They recommend higher temps to kill more germs/virus, so I wanted to try it. :)

lol they are very er.. very... lol
You could get a muzzle for her lol 👼 Nice xd. What are you making them? Thats a great idea. Gives people a chance to see if they are in a good spot xd. Hope you can see it.
yeah or even finding a project -_-
it's obviously all those dust bunnies inviting their friends around when you're not looking! :P
Awesome! :D I'm pleased they didn't shrink laughs ;)
:P If only my noise cancelling headphones actually cancelled her voice.... but they don't seem to cancel that pitch :K Mum's been wanting a new nightie for ages, so I thought I'd make her a nightie and make dad some pj bottoms (the pattern I found doesn't include a pj top :K) so they can have a new set of nightwear for their anniversary ;) I've got to figure out how to fudge the pattern to include a fly opening on the pj bottoms though, which should be.... interesting :P
I've got my toes crossed ;) I'm aiming on getting the camera set up if I can get sorted in time - assuming Mum isn't wanting to use their bedroom as that window gets the best view of the fireworks :P
[edit]
^^ I think that was the best fireworks display I've seen in years! :D (lots more pics, but I need to shrink them down to a more manageable size :P)

haha I'm sorry. sounds nice. LOL I can't even think of anything to say to that. Good luck on the fly. Mum said it's kinda like a hole/shirt flaps with a button hole.
Ooh that's a beautiful picture!! Glad it was so nice!
that makes sense - I think that should be workable, as there's obviously no need to put a closure on the fly itself so it shouldn't be as bad as trying to do a jeans zipper fly (I hope)!
I had about 50 photos of that fireworks display in the end, so here's a few more ;)

I am pretty sure some of them start to grow teeth. ;)
:nods: Its good to know, so that I can get them properly clean after use. :D
For me the trickiest part is finding a project that will work for my yarn stash. I like to use up some of it, but I dont know what to use it for. :P
Also, I have a question: should I train speed? Or is it not that useful and I should focus on just the other stats?

laughs either that, or they catch up crumbs on their dust bunny fur and just drop the crumbs in really odd places :P
Definitely! I made the mistake of getting Dad to tie the elastic on his masks - the elastic keeps coming undone in the washing machine (I thought he'd be able to tie a tight knot, but apparently not!).

nods And they seem to really like mixing in with cat fur too. :P
Oops. lol Hope you can fix that. :) I finished up the last hat today with some help from my mum. :) So they are ready to be shipped. :D

well those dust bunnies must bring that in from outside - that can't possibly be Pusur making all that mess on his own! 😇
hehe yeah, I've redone the elastic on most of his masks, and knotted it myself.... so far none of the ones I've knotted have come undone, so with a bit of luck the elastic won't come out from his masks now ;)
Awesome! Hopefully they fit your friend well and they're suitably cosy :D

Of course he does no such thing. :) Just like its all the other birds that leaves feathers and seeds all over your house. ;)
At least the knots on mine are secure. No problems there. :D
I hope so too! I am sending them off tomrrow so it shouldnt be too long until she gets them. :)

we covered Sparky over last night, and about an hour later he was chirping really loudly. Mum uncovered the cage to see what the matter was, and it just seemed that he wanted to have a chat laughs Dad reckons Sparky had invited his friends round for a party ;)
Hopefully they'll arrive quickly :D I posted a waterproof wheelchair blanket I made for a friend at the end of last week, so I'm hoping that will arrive with her soon - we've got a lot of rain forecast, so I think it's something she should be able to make use of this month ;)
