Mum decided to get the shoe cupboard sorted out (so I can have my indoor trainers out and not have to wear sandals in the winter :P) .... unfortunately it looks like most of the trainers I've got are either knackered (literally there's no padding to the sole, so unless a different insole works, they're really scrap as it feels like I'm walking straight on concrete o.O) or are way too narrow (I'd bought them in the hope they would stretch, but they're not comfortable to wear). So it looks like I'm going to have to find some online to order - wish me luck as I struggle to find ones that fit when I'm in the shop, let alone online! 😊

gathers up the luck I think there'll be a lot of ordering and returning! Mum's decided she likes the look of two pairs that I'd hardly worn indoors (I wear them indoors instead of living in slippers :P) so at least they've got a new home ;)

I found this doing a quick goodle search: Alpaca wool does not contain lanolin, which means that it is hypoallergenic. People with wool allergy get an allergic reaction when they touch wool that contains lanolin. Since alpaca wool does not contain lanolin, people with wool allergy can wear alpaca wool, without suffering an allergic reaction.

Also:

Alpaca wool is lighter, stronger and five times warmer that sheep's wool. Alpaca fibres contains no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic.

Sounds like it would be worth a try! 😀 :D
