I believe that is what I have heard anyways. :) NOt that I ever had that problem.. or had problems with not having enough legroom on a plane. I guess being short has some perks. :P

I am in a bit of a dillemma. The slippers for mum I am crocheting is a bit snug on me. We have the same lenght.. but my feet are a bit wider. Not sure if they will be right for her or not. O-O I could ask her to try it on, but that would ruin the surprise.. What to do. :P

hehe he's also learnt a really piercingly loud wolf whistle (which is one I taught him - Dad can't whistle as loud as I can), which is cute, but not something you want Sparky to do when you've got your ear near his cage! :P

Mum's friend's flat has a stupidly high ceiling, but Gran & Grandad's place is more of a cottage style, so it seems to go with the lower ceiling height ;) It can come in useful in a crowd as well, as you can work your way through the people a little easier ;) How tall are you, just out of curiosity?

Having a super high ceiling can be a bit of a hassle when you want to paint your house/flat at least. Other than that, I dont mind it. :) I am 1.57m. I aimed for 1.60m but never really got there. lol Mind telling me how tall you are? :)

hehe thankfully he's pretty good about being quiet when the cage is covered over.... unless there's really bright sunlight on the cage, in which case he starts pinging the bell on his toys to get someone to come and uncover the cage 😇 ROFL that sounds really sweet :D

You're a smidge taller than me then - I'm 1.55m ;) Dad reckons he's 5 foot 2" (1.57m), but he's clearly shrunk as I'm a little taller than him now :P

I bet they did! I've never had more than one budgie at a time, but from what Mum said when she was invited to look at the breeder's budgie aviary back when we got Sparky, they seem to make an incredible amount of noise when there's more than one! ;) hehe I doubt you'll be shrinking just yet though ;)
