I am beaming here.. just beat the final boss on my game, and he was a beast! Bullet hell and several stages. Took me tons of tries. And I smiled at the credits.. they listed the office dogs. lol

I hope the beans will be okay! Would be a shame if the crops died. Here temps has already stopped dropping enough for it to get pretty cold late at night.. the thick duvet is a bit too warm in the morning tho. :P But I suppose that is better than waking up in the middle of the night cold. :)

Yeah, I know that the beans are usually finished by a week or two into October, but we always like to keep them going for as long as possible! And yeah, that's what I found with my blanket the other night - it was just right when I went to bed, but by the morning I was melting 😊 :P

Its annoying really, I want the temp to be comfortable all the time. :P

other than the raspberries and a few strawberries that are still flowering, the runner beans is all that's currently about to be picked on the allotment. We're planning broad beans to go in the ground next month (if you plant them before the winter, apparently they are less likely to get blackfly in the spring) then it'll be potatoes planted in the spring and more runner beans laughs

:P you'd think the weather would co-operate, wouldn't you!

Nom nom! I love raspberries and strawberries. :D Makes for great healthy snacks. :D The allotment seems like a great way to get out of the house and be active. :) Cant go wrong with potatoes either. fairly cheap too. :)

:nods: But alas. :P Not too many days where it seems to be just right. :)

I might 'invest' in some more strawberry plants to pot up for the winter, then they can replenish the ones that died on the allotment last year ;) I think they were probably planted a bit too deep, so they rotted when we had a lot of rain :(

nods we tend to grow the 'early' potatoes as they're out of the ground before our summer gets too wet laughs

But if the weather was perfect, we'd have nothing to complain about 😇

hehe it is really tempting laughs I've got three separate areas for growing Strawberries (they're not in the main growing beds, so in theory they're easier to look after) and I think one is almost empty now.... that means plenty of space for new plants 😇

it's more a case of needing to know the way anything new has to be grown (and knowing that Dad will follow the directions properly!) rather than lacking space ;) We can always dig up a bit more grass to fit something else in :P
