Thats good. :) I have yet to see any spiders in my flat.. I sometimes get flies, that is about it. :) Then again I dont live on ground level.

That definitely helps, although the spiders seem to come in our upstairs windows for some reason - never really understood why they don't come in at ground level! Maybe the spiders near you just don't like heights? ;)

Not sure why, but I am sure not going to complain. ;) At least spiders will take care of flies and other insects in your home, so they are not all bad. ;)

does Pusur shed quite a lot of fur, or is it only just a little bit? ;) I keep finding budgie feathers in random places which always seems strange (especially when I find them on the duvet cover) given that Sparky lives at the bottom of the stairs!

hehe you'd think they'd be really good at fly catching but the ones we've had here just don't seem to have the knack! :P

He definitely shed a lot of fur, especially certain times of the year. Winter/sommer fur. :) I remember that too from when we had budgies. Its incredible where you can find them!

Mum found some budgie seed on the bedroom carpet the other day.... that's even stranger :P Sounds like you'll still be clearing up random bits of fur for a while yet then, if he's shedding his summer fur! ;)

There's been a spider in the corner of this room for weeks.... and there were still those pesky tiny flies heading straight for my head. Although maybe this spider prefers slightly larger meals and doesn't want to bother with those really tiny flies? ;)

If it were me, I would use the vacuumcleaner to get rid of it. lol Done that before with spiders/webs high up close to the ceiling. :) One wouldnt think a spider be too picky, but I guess. lol

Mum's friend always uses the vacuum to get rid of spiders (then takes the bag out and puts it in the dustbin "so the spiders can't escape" :P ) but in the instructions for our cleaner, it actually specifies to not vacuum spiders o.O :P

Budgies are worth it tho.. as they are a lot of fun to have around .;)

Definitely! Sparky's been copying the sound of the phone ringing - he's not got it exact, so you can tell it's him (when he whistled like the kettle does, Mum thought the kettle was boiling.... it wasn't even on laughs :P) but it's funny to listen to :D

laughs Most of the time I either stand on the bed or on a stool to reach them (we catch moths and spiders in a plastic pot, slide a piece of card underneath, then I usually hand it to Dad to take out to the garden :P) - thankfully our ceilings aren't as high as some older houses have (although where Gran and Grandad are, if someone comes to visit who is 2m tall, they have to duck as they enter the room as the doorway doesn't have an incredibly generous head clearance!) :P
