It's super cute right? XD It looks perfect XD lol so cute. -nods- it works well Tomorrow's theme: witchy
you will :) bread machine? XD sounds nice. ooh pretty :)
oooo those slippers look amazing! :D :D Yeah, it seemed to be one of those days where nothing goes right - I decided to not attempt it today, so that's going to be tomorrow's task to try and get it finished/
I put a note in with most of the toys I've made, that says in theory they are able to go in the machine, but the bear is scared of the washing machine so would prefer to be washed by hand if necessary 😇
nods and it looks like it works well without the HA as well :d notes down tomorrow's theme

it does. ONe thing I've had problems with before is some foreground items not showing up well on dark backgrounds. This doesn't seem to be a problem because of the colours
I know the kind of foreground items you mean - they can blend in with the background a little too well!
You almost need a torch light kind of item where you can have a small lighter circle that would work behind whatever foreground item you want to use (and I know that's almost impossible given the number of different positions a foreground item can have!). ....unless you used the light bulb items just to lighten the background a little (and I know that doesn't then give exactly the same look you were going for)?

One of those machines that mixes dough.. not a bread machine. Why cant I think of the word. lol
Thanks. :D She seems happy, I got the pic of her wearing them when I got home. lol
Thankies. :D happy with how they turned out. :)
handing you loads of patience for your project
Aww, that is actually such a sweet lil note to add. ❤ I wouldnt risk it, at least not if they are made of wool!

gathers up the patience thanks - I think I'm going to need it! Ironically, that was meant to be one of the easier items I need to sew o.O :P
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't put anything woollen in the washing machine! :P The only reason I'm wary of sewn fabric toys going in the washing machine is in case any of the stitches break laughs

yeah it's so frustrating! that'd be cool if it could be done. Could try a bulb and see if it helps.
well bread machines do thast, but there's also kneading machines. OH good!!!
whoa, that's a striking outfit today! 😮 Niamh decided she wanted to be a friendly witch today :P I think it was just an excuse to use what she would call "decent" clothes rather than a real costume :P

Sometimes it what you think will be easier that gives you the most trouble. :P
If you are concerned about the stitches or small details on your work being ruined in the washer, you could always use a washing bag that protects it. :)
I guess that works. lol What are you upto today? )

it's harder when it's a pattern I've made myself - I don't ever seem to scribble down the instructions clear enough to make sense of them when I come back to it! 😊
oooo now that's a thought - I've never tried using a bag to protect it in the washing machine.... I might have to test that out on something one day ;)

I can relate to that. It all made sense at the time, but not a long time after when you go back to it. o_O
:nods: Places that sell clothes often have these mesh type washing bags, that people use for delicate things like their bras etc. :)

really I should get on and write up the instructions properly in a blog post, like I'd planned.... that would make it a lot easier to follow! :P
I'll definitely try that out at some point - I really should test wash one of the bears I've made, just so I know for certain that it's ok ;)

Maybe when you are finished with other projects. :)
Just make sure to not to do a test with one of your favorite bears. ;)

I think after I've got this hoodie made, I might do the blog post then, as a break from actual sewing laughs
Yeah, definitely it wouldn't be done with a favourite one! I might end up making one especially to try washing it ;)

thanks xd Oh i like todays ha. Great witchy look xd Today: something from old and new toting today we peeled, cored and sliced up apples. Mum made apple sauce and canned them. I also worked on nephews bday gift. You?
Sounds yummy! :D I love everything apple- like jam/sauce/juice etc.. but I dont like to eat apples raw. Its weird really. lol
I baked.. and the bread turned out fine. :) Today its time for a walk. xD And do some grinding on here for morostide items.
That sounds like a plan. :D I need to start on a gift for my dads wifey (I dont call her step mum) for her bday. She told me she would like something like this: http://svartahusets.blogspot.com/2016/10/monster-pa-virkade-ljusbollar.html?m=1 You put LED lights in them, and they are really cute and cosy during the winter months. :) I made one for myself earlier.. but it got ruined by some water from my planter sadly. So might have to see if I can fix it or make a new one for myself as well.
I think I would do that too.. use some fabric that are cheap. maybe some leftover stuff. :)

thanks :d
That's going to be interesting - I'll have a rummage and see what old ToT items I have that Niamh can wear :d
I love the spooky background with the tree & bunny :D
oooo that looks really neat! I wouldn't have thought of using glue to make the crochet keep its shape like that! Hopefully you can fix your one - that's always annoying when things get ruined like that :K

You can use equal parts wood glue and water (mixed together) and a balloon (letting it dry), for it to keep its shape. :D
Yeah, it was a lot of work to make it. So its kinda a bummer.
kicks neo I want to look for nc trades.. but I am having trouble loading pages today. o-o

notes that down does it need to be a particular type of yarn you've used to make it hold its shape with that mixture, or does it work for any type?
I couldn't get Neo to load particularly well yesterday - I thought it was just my browser playing up, but maybe the Meepits had an early Halloween party 👀
