I have a soft cast on now in yellow. It's got a week and then i think it's done. I have to do the other leg. You can visibly see the difference. It's like nearly double in size.

I guess they feel the metal style is easier to clean maybe? It just seems.... odd!

Hopefully it won't take too long to get used to walking with the soft cast on, but I guess that leg is going to feel unusual to walk on, as an effect from what they did in the operation anyway? Any idea when they're looking to do the other leg, or will that all depend on the virus siruation?

The earliest is in mid june. It needs to me three months out from date of surgery. I guess we'll see. As long as its safe to do it, i will. Im barely able to move my toes. Its the worset leg in regards to circulation. But i needed to do the right foot first or the infected callus could come back, get worse and cost me some of my foot. O.0

at least that gives you a decent length of time between them, so you can work on getting that leg back to a level of normality! 😮 I think that would've made me utterly terrified if I'd been told that! Is the circulation meant to improve having had the op done?

it did. And he told me i only have a year left with the left leg if i dont do the surgery.
Yes. Theres no wnoygh room and that what the dugery does, lenthens the trndon to make more room for better walking and circulation

I suppose it is a good lesson to not limit yourself, thinking you cant do something. We often can do more than we think we can, if you put our minds to it. I am guilty of doing the same. :) Like I was sure I couldnt knit a pair of mittens, but turned out I can- with a complicated pattern too. :) It def. boost your selfesteem. :)

I tend to write down my ideas on notepads or journals until I get flesh them out in google docs. :D Honestly, I stopped using my better stories on subeta and only use clipped versions for a variety of reasons. I think I'll head down that road for a lot of my pets, and impose a character limit for myself. Also, you need more blobs to be made for your army so you can have more ideas! :D

They will generally give you a refund in cash or cash points towards their reward programme. I have not travelled with this airline before tho, so I am not sure how they are to work with. o-o

how did the flat pack wardrobe building go? The last time I tried putting together flat pack furniture, I ended up taking it back to the shop as it looked like someone had whacked it with a hammer (there was a massive dent in the front piece) o.O

yeah, there was a thing on the news earlier that one airline might not go back to flying out from Gatwick even when the lockdown ends - Gatwick always seemed like one of the major airports you'd expect the big name companies to fly out from!

There's one newspaper over here which has a long range weather forecast for winter and summer - they always sensationalise their forecasts and say there'll be metres of snow, or blazing hot sunshine.... and most of the time the actual weather is the complete opposite :P but if they get it right and we have snow in winter, it's never as much as they claim there could be ;)

hehe it's almost guaranteed that they'll release one I don't have a pet lined up for, but I'm hoping that Steamworks Blobs might make an appearance at some point this year, seeing as we didn't get any Steamwork pets released during Masquerade ;) ....or Blacklight, Glade or Riftborn as I've got pets earmarked for those colours too :P
