I like winter too.. its cosy indoors with candle lights and whatnot. :) And I love christmas. :D Summer is probably my least favorite since i dislike the heat as it always makes me feel horrible. lol

Lots of money basically. lol Shoes (skeechers) from my mum and roses. And I got two skeins of chunky yarn, HP shopping bag and a book with patterns for crocheting with your leftover yarn from Paddy here. :)

doing well. Thr doc said everything is going exactly as hed hoped so thats all i can ask. I have an apt at the end of the month. He'll look at it one more time and the following week i will have the cast removed. How are you?

Oh, that is excellent! I am super happy to hear that. <3 I hope it keep getting better for you on that end, and that your legs feel a lot better soon. <3 I'm doing pretty well. It's been nice and peaceful this spring. It's very slow, so I get to spend a lot of time in the garden doing things. ^^ I will eventually have to go to the store to get some food items I ma nearly out of (or out of), but I am trying to put it off. How are you and your family doing in the lock-down?

hehe summer is ok if it's not unbearably hot (anything under 28C is good!), especially if you're on a beach, paddling in the sea, with a nice sea breeze :P but it tends to be either 32C and stupidly humid or really chilly and wet here for summer lately :P

Be safe if you go out. There are delivery companies like publix, aldi and Kroger with instacart. Just a thought. We spent $10 for a month but get free deliveries. And make a mask :D I'm doing okay mostly. Its a bit frustrating that I can't get out as much as I would like. I'm not very mobile. Almost fell in the back garden yesterday. I do hurt still but not as much as I first was hurting. I'll get an apt on the end of the month and if all is good the following week the cast is gone. THen in June I am 3 months out so I can do the left leg when ready.

LOL don't even know what any of them are right away :P His name is Kai and his dragon plushie is named Lord Chaos LOL that came up last night. -giggles- I don't know why I got that name but was far too amused. Luckily, my sister will go in the store and I will wait in the car for her. She does not want me to risk walking in the stores. We have only gone out once since February and when we did, we did a curbside-pickup like you mentioned. The place we have to go to now does not offer that service though. All the services we have tried are out of the items we need, so we are going to Sam's Club (it's like a huge walmart). My sister has a membership there and she knows they will have things like flour, yeast, eggs, milk, meat products, and oatmeal. I am only interested in the flour, yeast, and oatmeal though. :D I live on homemade bread and we are running out of flour and yeast. c:

-hugs- I am sorry that the mobility is an issue still. At least there is les pain right now, that is so good. c: Oh my, so in 3 months you have to do it all again with the other leg. :/ By then will you be able to notice the difference between the two legs? Is it hard to tell any difference right now (outside of the cast/pain etc)? Are there any noticeable residual side effects from the surgery yet, or is it still too early to tell?

Haha! I tried with my HA with the bg, but it covered up the kitties, which I didnt like so I went a different route. :)

By residual side effects did you lose any feeling anywhere on your leg or anything? I know when a friend had a knee replacement surgery she did lose a little bit of feeling on one side of her knee. I am glad you are doing well though, and that the dr said it will make a huge difference! <3

hehe glad we are on the same page :D its a German grocery store all over here. Not sure about CA. I've been to it in England and Germany as well.

Oh well there wasn't really anything like that. He basically made 3 holes into my achelies tendon and put a cast on it. This protects it from collapsing and helps stabilise it. I feel pain in the back of my leg every so often but it's like a 3 month recovery.
