It wasnt fun, but it worked out in the end.. I took my exam again, and at least I passed the second time around and graduated okay. :) Even got into the college course I wanted, so I dont feel too bad about it. :hugs:

Yup, Gatwick is normally a really busy airport! So many people visit London after all, so thats def. a huge change. :) I cant wait for things to go back to normal again already.

hehe.. that sounds like our newspapers. When they have good forecast for the summer, its huge bold letters talking about it like some warm weather and sun is the second coming of Jesus or something. Its funny really. :)

they're saying that next week we'll hear how things will start to come out of the lockdown with what might be able to open when.... but they were meant to say that this week, so they've already delayed it. I have a feeling things are going to be strange in shops and that for quite a long time yet though!

I think people seem to be either really really cautious, or just want everything back to normal immediately (and would be willing the queue outside a takeaway food or doughnut shop when they reopen). Nobody seems to be in the middle of the two extremes! ;)

I guess it doesn't help if the windows are all facing the same direction either? At least in the house, we can open the windows at the front if the back of the house is roasting in the summer sunshine (not that it's always that effective though :P). I can imagine you and Pusur sitting with several fans on, just to cool down on a stupidly hot summer's day ;)

we were trying to hold off but the ac is a no go. We're at temps of 90f and simply feeling ill. The house doesn't cool until 2am. I had to call someone to come in tomorrow to look at it. He has instructions to wear a mask, shoe covers and gloves and I'll disinfect everything he's near once he leaves. There's nothing for it. IT's not even peak heat here so something must be done.

I see the same thing here. :) There are a lot of people that seem to think its just a "hype" thing from the media and politicians.. which is stupid in my opinion. :P

I have a window in my bedroom thankfully that is on the other side of the building. So that helps a lil.. but with the huge winows in my livingrom it still gets stupid hot in here. lol I am def. gonna bring out a fan or two. xD

You will def. need your ac then. You should be fine with masks, gloves and other precautions. :hugs: I feel your pain, On hot summer days my flat can have temps around 97f, it sucks. Huge windows and loads of sun during the afternoon and evening. :P

yeah, there's always going to be those who really just want to believe any conspiracy theory they can, but for something like this, one person thinking in that way, can impact on a lot more people! And a bowl of cool water to paddle your feet in on a really hot afternoon ;) Of course that's assuming that Pusur doesn't like playing with water, otherwise it could get rather wet everywhere if he wanted to flick it about :P

BUT, because the time for the ac was during my doc appointment, I called and they told me if I don't want hydrotherapy I am welcome to take the bandage off and come in on Monday. I can drive, shower and SHAVE!! I've done the latter too :D I'm so happy to be hair and cast free!

Yes, so badly! Ac has a fault in the line. Rather than digging the line up, they're gonna run a new one in the attic and are coming back tomorrow. I'm wanting AC SOOOO badly!!! Ugh those temps suck.

When Mum sees a cat coming into the garden, she tends to spray some water towards it to discourage it from making itself at home (we have several birds nesting nearby, so the less predators in the garden, the better!).... only trouble is, one cat seemed to like the idea of the water, as it always came closer when it saw the water being sprayed :P

right? I hated the hydrotherapy anyway so I’m happier not having it LOL. The skin is really flaky and nasty looking so shaving wasn’t fun and I have lots of razer burn but it does feel nice to get it done. It’s a little sensitive since it’s not been exposed for 6 weeks but I’m confident it’ll be looking good soon. I’ve been lotioning a lot

It’s pretty jacked up. There’s lots of dead and flaking skin so it looks kinda nasty to me. I got a burn from that adhesive too. And razor burn LOL but I’m hoping it’ll clear up soon. It feels smooth despite all this thanks to the lotion.
