OH my, so you could be in store for two full grown trees! lol I hope your yard is big enough! :D My sister has a semi-drawf nectarine tree and it ended up getting peach leaf curl this spring, so I sprayed it with the proper fungicide and luckily all the new leaves are coming out just fine. I am glad to have noticed it before it was set in all the leaves! It will be so good to have fresh nectarines in a couple years (right now if it produces more than 8 I'd be shocked).

Yes, so far so good still. It's just warming up and the weeds are growing like crazy, SO this week I have to weed, a LOT of areas in the garden. I've been keeping up with the back yard areas but neglecting the front yard ones ()it's not my favorite place). How are you doing?

I finally got K's shirt sewn :d I had to stop though, as I don't have any buttons that'd work, so I'll do a quick order tomorrow morning for the 5 buttons I need for his shirt, plus the ones Mum wants for her phone case(s) and with a bit of luck that'll arrive by the weekend :D Actually, I might see if I could add in a rucksack bag strap thing (the plastic thing that the straps loop through), as my idea for his Christmas present is a dragon backpack, so I might as well get the rest of the stuff here ready to make it at some point laughs

hehe that's very true - we've got a Lush store in town, and they specialise in bath bombs and that kind of thing :d Of course at the moment they're shut like everything else, but I've still got some pieces of bath bombs and bubble bars that I can use ;) (I never use the entire thing in one go, I always but it into pieces so it lasts longer :P)

I had my apt with the foot doc today. It went well. He is wanting to do a laser treatment on Friday as there's some tightness in the back of my leg and the treatment will break up scar tissue making that tightness go away. and he'll do it for free which is really wonderful. I also have a pre-op appoint for leg 2 on Monday. Surgery will be soon. Perhaps next week. I dont' know for sure yet. I think I get to pick so it might come down to how fast I think I can get some things done around the house.

It should be pretty safe. Its done in the small clinic which doesn't have a lot of people in it anyway, they sterilize things often, of course. Every one of the staff is wearing masks, and i have my hand made one. They also make everyone clean hands at arrival and leaving. I'll wash myself with an antibacterial wipe once I'm home and change my clothing--and wash my hair. Then put my clothes into the washer. And make dad clean his mask too. He'll stay in the car so he'll only have exposure to me until we get home--and will be wearing his mask till I'm at the house.

I take it you think I should go with that description :) To be fair, they liked Tiana fine at the Three Broomsticks after figuring out that plain old Muggle dry cat food, while not a nutritious diet for a fossa in any way, shape or form, served very well as a pacifying snack that would ensure Tiana would stay put even if she wasn't getting attention.

Bathbombs and stuff like that can get expensive, so making them last a bit longer is not a bad idea. :D Totally worth it tho.. they smell so nice and makes the bath feel more luxurious I think. :D

Gardening sounds nice! :) Not too warm where I am at.. we even had some hail the last few days. Its sunny, but the wind makes it cold. xD Not too much happening other than the usual, going for walks and seeing my family and stuff. :)

Mum had a look through her button tin earlier, and we found five square buttons that look like they'd work for K's shirt - that saves the need to order anything just yet :D I haven't got them attached yet though, as I felt I'd done enough concentrating on sewing yesterday, without risking doing buttonholes and potentially messing up the entire shirt today! ;)

The backpack pattern I've got is this one (link) although I might use the slightly smaller (and easier :P) free pattern she made, which looks more like Toothless the dragon :P As long as I get a chunky zipper for the pocket, so K can easily open and close it (I'd normally use a zipper with narrower teeth, but for a 5 year old I figured something chunkier would be easier), hopefully it should work for whatever he wants to carry ;)

I did find a website with instructions on how to make your own bath bombs - I got as far as buying the supplies (I think the only thing I'm missing is food colouring), but I haven't attempted to make any yet! I got some peppermint and orange essential oils, but I think it'll be a bit of trial and error to figure out how much of the oils needs to be in one bath bomb!

That does sound like a fun project. :D You are probably right about it being a bit of a trial and error deal. :) You should def. give it a go if you feel like a break from sewing. :D Mum and I made 4 large ambrosia breads today (not sure if you have those in England or not). lol Cant wait to have some later. :D

I try to do extra things to make sure we stay safe. Yes, I apperate that a lot and they don’t treat me as I’m poor, or worthless because I can’t get insurance. That’s something I’m grateful for as well. It’s a lengthening surgery called TAL or Tendon Achilles Lengthening—same as I had on the right leg. They go in and make 3 holes in my Achilles tendon. Then they move the leg so it’s pulling on the tendon, and then put it in a cast. The healing process takes those now long holes and fills them in. This gives the leg more room and solves the walking problems I’ve had since birth, apparently. I didn’t even know I had problems but I have. I was walking with both my feet pointed to each other and on my tip toes. My parents got the pointed forwards fixed by swapping my shoes on the wrong feet. I knew that part—and so did the doctor by simply watching me walk when he saw me on the first day. I’ve always had callouses ever since I was little. I never really thought about it. But as I’ve aged the lower blood flow and issues have been worse. So the cramps on got in them daily for 2 years was another sign and it was the infected callous that got the problem looked at. Now I know that the tightness in my calf on the left leg isn’t a good thing—nor is the blue veins. If I don’t get it fixed I will lose the leg. So, yeah lol getting it fixed.

Dry cat food is really awful, it's basically meat flavoured cereal with a small amount of meat in it. But cats (and other carnivores) adore it because they spray it with a meat-derived flavouring that drives them NUTS. I figured a fossa would not be immune to this and would also be amused by the toy-like texture and shapes. And sometimes food is a thing that's not harmful as long as it's sometimes :)

rummages for the link this (link) is the free pattern done by the same designer, but I think I'm going to try and make the one I showed you originally, with the dragon kind of hanging off his shoulders ;) I asked K's Mum if K thought of a dragon, what colour would it be (so I can work on getting the right coloured fleece) - he answered "red and green" so this one is going to look interesting by the time I've eventually made it! :P

I am so glad they treat you well, I never understand the mentality where people look down at other people for not being able to afford thing. That is just sucky. Sounds like you will have a new and better life once the second surgery is over and you have healed properly. I am happy for you. ^_^ I sure have been poor myself.

that's very true - I think the moulds to make them in were the hardest to find (in the end, I went with some silicon moulds for making chocolate :P), so I'm pleased I'd gone on and got those already!
