A very basic database currently exists. We cannot say for sure what features will be added down the line as there is only so much the staff can confirm until it actually happens, until then, we have to wait patiently.

I apologize that the database link (and navigation to it) aren't readily accessible to the vast public, as it was posted by staff in the CW Creators forum--this isn't something we can control.

I cannot confirm if this particular database is the "final database" that will at some point contain filters and such, as I am not the staff.

I believe the first step in the team's plan is to alleviate the issue of CWs being devalued. Introducing new buyers into the market will take time and it won't happen overnight. I do believe our efforts as releasers of providing various guides has helped open the doors to invite more people the show interest in CWs. In addition to that, we are also holding an event as well.

As releasers, we honestly can't say how long, as it is the staff that needs to make all of these changes. If you want to see stats, you'll have to ask them.

That database is an amazing start. I have no idea why staff didn't add that as a tab when you click on Custom Wearables via the cash shop. It's not perfect, but being able to see every CW by layer is super useful.

Honestly I don't think releasers should be the one doing all of this though (meaning the guides, tips, etc). Don't get me wrong everything you've said is really great, but staff dropping the ball is hurting both you and potential new buyers :/

Fingers crossed staff is paying attention

I had to search the thread myself to find it, since someone else had linked it to me once, but there is not "direct navigation" as you said (which would be really helpful). It may be due to the database still being in a testing phase or there may be a couple of features that they do want to add before releasing it publicly (and possibly even features they know people would be very keen on, but want to save the headache of re-telling people that the feature will come).

I believe one of the staff had admitted that their onboarding for the whole CW process (lest you be a buyer or releaser) isn't very clear cut, and with no particular guides and tutorials, it really relied on people stumbling upon CWs and taking the dive to try it out.

I'm pretty sure the entire community has their toes crossed too at this point! xD

Not sure if this is the perfect place to put this but just wanted to give credit where it's due: I appreciate that it seems there is a CW database in the works as well as a functioning forum search now, which are definitely both great ways to improve the CW shopping experience for more casual users.

Edit: Nevermind, I can't seem to use the forum search anymore?

Well they finally closed the pawn, so the whole community will bend to the demands of a small group...clap clap Well done subeta team...

I suppose it's time to take a break from the site, a long break; I have no hope that this will improve anything, on the contrary. Well, good luck to those who benefit from this action, it's something they've been looking for a long time.

My two cents at this point. As shocking (for lack of a better term) as it was when they announced the pawn shop closing, I'm actually not too annoyed or mad that it's now actually closed. I do kind of miss being able to check in there often to see if anything new showed up, but now it's like eh.

Since they released the CW User Shops prior to the closing, it gave me a sense of approval, or maybe acceptance, of the change. Sure it's a little more work, but I can at least search the forums for anyone that has moved their CWs into shops. Now the selling system is set up similar to sP items. You still could check the Search Shops and adjust the price accordingly, or if you want to limit who you sell your CWs to, there's still the trades. (Though we have no way to effectively search trades for CWs. It'd be cool if we could like search by rarity or something one day.)

The only thing I could ask for overall now would be the CW Database (Which is currently a work in progress) and an official clarification on CWs as a whole - That central hub that was mentioned a while back, where all of the CW information is listed on one page that's easy for new users to understand.

While I'm sad about the closing since it's the main way I got CWs, I'm not mad about it anymore. From the releasers explaining everything and setting up guides to seeing some feedback being implemented, this mess has been handled well.

I do think that staff needs to plan better for large announcements though. Like, getting feedback from all kinds of users and starting to work on things based on feedback and then making the announcement. The Pawn Shop closing announcement came across as "we don't care about you buyers, the end". But, if proper planning happened from the beginning, I think a lot of the panic would have not happened.
