The one thing that bothers me is the way the far wing was moved behind its body. That shoulder seems to be turned more towards us than it was on the old charlie, so I'd think that wing would be more visible on that side?

But at least it's visible. I'm still not a fan of the way the montre's far wing is completely hidden by its body in the revamp.

I love that he looks so much more devious, but something about the left arm and wing feel off. Like only the torso is turned to the side but not head or legs. Legs almost look like squatting, ready to pee or something. idk

The shading and detail are better.

I agree with people view point on the wings as the way they even come out of the back of Charlie don't look right. In addition the proportion between the head and the rest of the body feel disjointed for me so much that it makes it look like a bobble head.

Like others are saying, I like the new one better. The only suggestion I would make is to rework the wings. The front one looks a little life-less compared the the rest of the body and the back one feels out of place, like it should go on the other side of the body, like the original. Still very nice work, though.

I like Charlie revamp exactly as is. Excellent and totally different from the other pets. I would like one but will have to wait until I get another pet slot.

Love it! Just one thing tho - I agree with everyone about the wings. I think if you pull down the shadow on the outermost segment it'll help a lot, because it'll stop it from looking like a protruding mass? if that makes sense?

I took a long look at this revamp before I decided to say anything. While I normally find things to say that are positive about revamps, I am having a hard time coming up with any good points here. And no, not because I am married to the old design.

First off, the head adn body seem disproportionate to one another. The large hips/thighs of the older design seem to take away from the Charlies overall bobbleheadedness. The wings look fleshy and useless. Not that the old ones were any better, but if they're actually wings and not just grotesque appendages, they need definition. The ears also seem very heavy and fleshy. I like the grin and devious look and the clasped paws. Those are quite nice.

I'd just like to emphasize the hell out of this post. It covers everything which makes me hesitate to select the revamped version. I think that the revamp is amazing.... ultimately, the wings and the one whisker which is lost against the left ear are the only two things that REALLY could maybe potentially use a little more touch-up.... ..... but I also agree that a slightly more neutral expression akin to the original's is nice, because it leaves room. That is-- it looks more like it can be diabolical in a cute innocent prankster way, or a mad scientist way, and the neutral expression fits both of those options... while the revamped version really only suits the latter; the revamped expression seems much darker and sortof boxes in the sort of personality types it could suit to a much narrower spectrum. :<

I love the detail on the left! The right doesn't seem like enough of an improvement to me. However, with that said I think the wings and head of the left are a little awkward. It's head seems to be very heavy and strangely shaped, and I'd love if the wings were a little more realistic. Otherwise it's lovely work!

The first is great and would be better with a few modifications. Could use a little more meat/muscle on the back below nd between the wings. And give him the fourth whisker like the proposed version.

Overall an improvement. I love the expression and detail added. The minor changes to the pose are great. I do wonder if the head is too large though ? I've never liked the wings. I probably will never like them unless they went under more changes. They've always made no sense and they look very bubbly in the revamp. But unless they were changed to be more bat-like where you can plainly see there's bone under and the skin is thinner and tighter, I don't think much can really be done about them.

I like the new one a lot, I especially like his expression. The only thing I don't like is how plastic-y he looks. He's too shiny, I thought maybe he's supposed to be hairless? Even then he still looks to shiny and like plastic instead of that.

Oops, posted in comments so will repost here with a few alterations... I prefer the new one to the old one overall, but I like the wider eyes on the old one. The expression on the new one is great, but maybe the cheeky squint could be just a tiny bit less emphasised to give the new and beautifully shaded eyes a bit more of a chance to sparkle? I also agree that he's a little top heavy, and looks a bit skinny everywhere else.

I love it but I must agree with everyone about the wings could use a bit more bat like look. Great work nonetheless C:

After seeing all the comments about the big head, that's really starting to stand out to me. Shrinking the head a little makes a big difference.

I have never been a huge fan of the Charlie but the proposed Charlie is a lot nicer than its old one. Making it look more mischievous does wonders for it. It makes them more evil looking which is very cool. I would have loved it if the scar on its left foot had stayed. I liked that about the old one.

And I kinda agree with everyone about the wings. They look fake to me and would look great with some more detailing.

Can we please get the leg scar back? I'm really not sure why it was removed.

I agree about the wings, but I also think the ears should come to a bit more of a point at the end like the original.

If you must do this, can I ask you don't edit the pose too much on the Spectrum/Blacklight Charlie? I always loved how it looks like they're trying to scratch off the rainbows.
