Still doesn't make me want to get a Charlie as my next pet, but revamp looks much better than older version, I like the shading and how much character it acquired. Agree that the wings might need some more work tho, looking kinda plastic and odd.

The one on the left definitely looks more artistically skilled but looks less cute and round to me. I think that's been the direction you've been going with the revamps but I wouldn't say I prefer it.

Overall it's a big improvement, but I think the facial expression is too strong. I'd dial it back to being more neutral.

I like the one on the right better. It's smile is cute in a goofy way. The one on the left looks too evil.

I love the top half of the new version, but agree with others about the wings; however I like the bottom half of the old version better. I'd love to see the 2 combined.

if he is suppose to be a devilish character and have wings why not make the wings black....instead of just pink like the rest of him...that would give him lots more character... I am not an artist by any means so do not go by my picture completely..

So, I really like the revamp except for three things:

1. The weird wart on his ear. I just don't like how it translated in to the new art.
2. The random circle decoration on the wing. I'm just not feeling that.
3. The wings look really stiff overall.

I agree with everyone on the plastic looking wings.

Also, I don't like how the right leg is shaded. It seems that the light source is coming from in front of him to the left, which means not all of the right leg would be in the shadow, unless his left leg came forward more.

The revamp is a massive improvement and I'm a huge fan.

The revamp is definitely an improvement! I agree with the wing comments (perhaps you could do something bat-like, with webbing and the long skeletal "fingers?") and I also wanted to point out the wart on the ear. I feel like it didn't translate very well. The expression is wonderful though and the Charlie definitely will have more character with the revamp!

New shading is beautiful overall. I agree the wings do look a bit plastic and like they aren't a part of the Charlie.

His legs, fore and hind, are looking odd in relation to his head. His body seems undersized and he does kinda look like a bobble head. Also making his body look a bit anthropomorphic which just creeps me out.

I expect the expression will remain but I preferred the original which as others have said looks more mischievous than the new one which looks more evil like a super villain. Or a wanna be super villain. Oddly enough with the rubbing hands the first thing that came to mind was Austin Powers or some cartoon villain.

I like the new one, but have two concerns: the two bits of fur under the neck look like the the numbers 07. this is minor, but maybe make a few more fur bits there to blend them in? i think the main issue is that I cannot unsee the 07 now.

The other thing is that, as others have said, the new one is missing the blue veins on the wings, and the stitch on the leg.

Otherwise, I like it. A lot.

The revamp is nicely done for sure! Echoing what has been said about the wings, no need to elaborate there. Also, the more I looked at it, the more I did see that he head seems too large and I think too that having the bottom half be a little more rotund (like was said before, a rabbit) would keep a bit of cuteness to him. I like the super mischievousness of the face- even if you dial it back, he looks like a little stinker. lol. I also don't like the obvious wart on his ear, it seems too big or has too much attention drawn to it and is distracting. Also, the hair tuft looks off, but I guess it's because it looks like a tuft of hair coming out of the left side of his head instead of the center. I totally understand wanting to veer away from the animeish look of the other one- but the hair tuft doesn't translate well into a more realistic look w/out making his head look "shaved" save for that small bit next to the scar. It's just strange. The anatomy over all is good and the shading is nice- but I would agree w/ the face shading- the head is too smooth, it should be shaded more like his head has fur on it, so it's not so shiny and round.

But yeah, nice revamp!

I actually really like this idea. I don't care for the charlie at all because the design is so blah, but I think really changing up the wings could make it much better!

Agree that the new one looks much better, but something...(more interesting?)should be done with the wing-thingies. Also, it really does look a bit like a bobble head- head slightly too big and no neck.

I love the new Charlie's face, it looks much more menacing. But I'll echo everyone else and say the wings just.. don't work. :c

I like the old expression better, also think the wings need to be membranous and maybe black, get rid of the wart, add a tuft of hair to the center on top of his head, and for some reason he looks off balanced. I think he needs a tail. He looks like an upright dog, so a tail would add that something to complete him.

i'm not super huge on the revamp, for once! the art quality is definitely a lot better, but it has some issues i think.

the revamp, compared to the original, isn't proportioned out as well; it looks a bit top-heavy since the pose is having it turn away from the viewer and leaving us with a very thin view of the body, but still that big ol' head and too much negative space down in the bottom left by his lilbutt.

otherwise, i'm a big fan of the way the face looks, and i really like the way the paws came out!

i love how the revamp looks, but the wings look so....toy like and the head looks a little to big maybe if you shrink it a little bit , and make the wings look more evil like this cutie is and it will be amazing!
